Hey there, i've been away from this game for many years, so I apologize for being very behind on the topic. No matter what resource pack i select, what version im using, or how many times i do a fresh install of the game/mcpatcher, connected textures and various other features do not work. The resource pack works fine, its just the mcpatcher features that fail. Any recommendations/ideas?
Hello there, i'm using mcpatcher 1.8.7 and connected textures are not working. The doesn't even show up in the patch menu. I've read through the main post several times and cant find anything about this. Help would be greatly appreciated. I've also been gone for a year or 2, so i'm really out of the loop, sorry about that.
I'm super sad that this happened. So many things that made the game unique are going to go. I think i'll just go play some game like Minecraft, like Terraria or somthing. I'll take any Minecraft-ish game that has the same traits that Minecraft is about to lose.
I can't really imagine what this would look like with minecraft's default armor resolution, the armor texture would have to have alot less gold on it than what is in that picture.
A very neat idea, i give my full support.
EDIT: I'm going to try and make a quick texture for gold trimmed diamond armor just so i can imagine it easier. I will post the textures here when i'm done.
EDIT 2: Made some really sloppy textures so i could imagine it better, this is what i imagine as the most basic form of trimmed armor:
i hope you know that wont work , it aint hard to make a cracked server and get a /login plugin. boom, mojang cant touch your server
Yeah, but its still Mojang's game, therefore they have the rights to it. Sure they can't just hit a button and bring it down, but they still have the rights.
My friend told me that "Herobrine exists and at one point Notch couldn't remove him." I told him he was wrong, but he refused to believe it even after i told him i had proof.
I would look at this thread, it has some very good tips for building good looking treehouses under the "Building with Biomes" section, in the jungles tab. I use it alot.
I don't like watching videos just for the gameplay, i like watching videos because the person doing the video is funny or does interesting things in the game. I watch a lot of channels at the moment, but my favorite is probably EthosLab.
*facepalm* If you really don't believe me, why don't you test it yourself in a world? Just spawn some animals near/in a cave and see whether or not they are attracted to light/grass.
Alright, i tested that using a modified version of the setup used in the video that was up there. I found that mobs did not prefer one setup over another. Also, was Etho doing that test in his "old" world? The one that he abandoned due to one of the beta updates ruining a bunch of stuff? Also i gtg for a while now, so don't expect a reply for a while.

Here you go! It might not be exactly what you had in mind, but with a little modification it might work.
