    Okay I figured it out. You apparently have to break it with a pickaxe. You can't break it with your hand or any other tool. That's somewhat odd. If anything it should be an axe or any tool. Don't know if that's a bug or not.

    I changed it to survival, and when I broke it, it didn't drop anything :c Or does the world originally being a creative world (despite changing gamemode) cause the chests to be stuck in that mode?

    Oh Jade, I wanted to ask, when you have time, do you think you could create replacement weapon and armor textures in the style of Metallurgy items for Harken Sycthe and Asgard Shield? I already have Balkon and a few other mods with replacement textures to fit the style. Was hoping to do the same with these two mods. :)

    Do the chests actually do anything? I created a creative world to make sure everything is generating properly, found two mystic ruins, found the chests, but they wouldn't open and when I broke them they didn't drop anything.

    I was thinking you could probably craft the amulets with a soulkeeper or a bloodkeeper, to "attune" them to that particular resource. You get the keeper back of course (much like a bucket). So it creates a Soul attuned Amulet, or a Blood attuned Amulet, which will draw from that resource only. If you want to switch materials, you just craft the attuned amulet with the associated keeper you want to use.

    M is material, S is sticks. That should keep them on par with traditional scythes for material cost, and I don't think balkon or anyone else has a recipe quite like that yet.

    I think the blight and hemorhag should both be addable to swords, but you shouldn't be able to add them both to the same weapon. (if that is already a characteristic of them, sorry. I think its been too long since I caught myself up on what's going on here.)
    I was thinking about that one as well, but I'd rather just have it cost the two more iron. Why? It's a much more unique recipe, and you are far more unlikely to run into another mod with the one that was chosen, than the recipe you describe. In the long run. The 5 material 2 stick recipe is just better.

    More than likely, otherwise though you conflict with Balkon's which is why I assume you were conflicted about the recipe to begin with. I think it's a necessary sacrifice. On that note the scythe does have more durability than a sword right? Since it also has more material than it. I don't think it's that much of a conflict otherwise.

    Yeah just did that. I found no conflicts ._. that's just so odd. and it's specifically PfF's core. So weird. Well whatever. The stuff it added wasn't specifically important, I didn't even use plugins before, so it's not a major loss. Just some things that would have been nice. specifically between forestry and redpower. rest of the stuff I didn't really care for.

    Be funny if I installed ThermalExpansion and it fixed the problem. Lmfao. But I really don't care for TE with my current set of mods.

    Finishing up on Augmenting Books to create Enchanted Books with random soul/blood augments. :) * Usable at the anvil like normal*

    After that I just have to re-add old code from other items. (Talismans, ect).

    Only stuff that is still puzzling me are the following...

    Glaive Recipe
    Talisman, Amulet: Use both Soul and blood or only 1 of the other.
    Blood Augment for Shields
    Lastly: Should the Augments Blight and Hemorrhage be Range only? Meaning they don't work if applied to a sword?

    Things that won't be included in the early release:

    Just digging up this post to reiterate the problem between Thaumcraft's thaumium pickaxe and Metallurgy. The guys at Metallurgy say they don't change anything in concerns of how what mines what. I'd like to note the last time I used a thaumium pickaxe it *was* mining obsidian, even though you said it isn't supposed to. Honestly thaumium was acting like a complete replacement to diamond in many ways.

    Edit: Tested it again right now. Thaumium pickaxe, with just forge and thaumcraft installed. It was mining obsidian, but only taking slightly longer (~1 sec) than diamond.

    Edit2: Installed RedPower2 and Metallurgy 2. Redpower 2's gem pickaxes work similarly to how thaumium should work (though I think thaumium should be stronger than the gems).

    Diamond pickaxe stops mining Metallurgy fantasy metals on the third to the last ore type of that submod (can't mine Orichalcum, Adamantine, and Atlarus).

    The gem pickaxes stop a few ores prior to that (can't mine Astral Silver, Carmot, Mithril, Rubracium, Orichalcum, Adamantine, and Atlarus).

    The thaumium pickaxe mines *all* of these. I think the inclusion of RedPower2 in this test shows that it's Thaumcraft that is the problem, not Metallurgy 2 itself.
