The mural leviathans' jeweled beams stretched into the final room of the west wing, here sat two unmarked stone caskets. The rest of the room was plain looking with no wall decorations, only smooth stone surfaces. The east site of the room contains a large entryway with broken stairs, a collapsed in walls and the entire path is blocked by a large skull that bares a striking resemblance to the Leviathan's. In the corner of the room is a small crate which looks somewhat out of place.

    Catacombs - Elgar
Elgar lit a torches and removed it from the wall, he was standing in a large octagonal room with little clue as to how he had ended up here.

I uncovered it and said it was still dark so that everyone could explore it with their lights or darkvision.

Just have to get close like yous have been.

From the south of the hexagon room sprouts a long corridoor that leads down into a large and dark, empty room with six columns. The murals continue along the corridoor and wrap around the rooms walls. The columns depict snakes swirling up along their lengths and spreading out at the top to form a ceiling.

The murals along the corridors depict an arduous battle of epic proportions, the four leviathans are each shown shooting a beam from their heads, one of green, one of blue, one of black and one of red as the one that had been encountered on the surface. The corridoor mural was separated in the middle by an indented panel depicting the wizard raising his staff and the second half of the corridoor simply depicted a marching army of skeletons.

The murals in the pillar room are too far away and shrouded in darkness for anyone to read.

There's two rooms beyond, the west(right) corridoor room is uncovered, the east(left) is still not uncovered, You need to say which way you go down the corridoor.

Those are only the three core ones aswell, magic has many more obscure sources such as the old ones, pacts, artifacts, blood, whispers, fey or fiend patrons, curses, afflictions, soul, these are just ones I can think of off the top of my head.

The ability to regain magic is usually very limited since 'magical slots' or whatever are the only thing preventing magic users from being better in every case than non magic users.

Currently the only way to regain magic is with Soul Charge [MAG 12+] at which point a fighter probably has enough skills to keep up, or you've dumped all your other stats and are super frail, balancing out your ability to have twice as many spells (and many more, 12 MAG Is no joke).

I like the Hex Idea. The mana drain idea needs some slight work since 1 for 1 makes it essentially a 1 slot recurring counterspell. Also magic has many forms in this game, such as Divine (which cannot be easily drained since it is granted by gods.) Nature (which cannot be drained since it is sourced from surroundings at the time of use) and innate (Close to the concept of 'mana')

    Altar - Silver

Silver's orb does indeed drain the light that the Altar emits, as well as causing all active sunrods in the room to quickly begin to fade before losing all effectiveness entirely. As soon as Silvers concentration breaks though, the light once again stretches out of the Altar, reflects off of the walls and is cast into the exact same positions as before.

post 110, 115 and 119 are the only posts built entirely around the skeletons, the rest only have a small section at the end. It is important that there not be skeletons in this dungeon or else the next chapter of this story wont make any sense at all. Sorry that this mostly affects your latest post which is quite long and quite well done, but I did just say not to make up stuff in this dungeon. I really am sorry, the alternative is to make the skeletons a hallucination which makes even less sense. For this inconvenience Silver gains 1 ability score point.

Feel free to spoiler your post or move it to OOC if you don't want to remove your work.

The dungeon's halls are dark and empty, a concerning silence falls among their walls, stumbling down the hallway to the right reveals a small hexagonal room, the cracks in its walls have become the home to a tribe of rats who can be seen darting among the shadows, passing between hideaway holes. The walls begin to paint a mural in their carvings, an epic tale of long ago. A powerful wizard unleashing chaos on the world in the form of four black leviathans. The murals show the races of the lands fighting the dragons with all manner of weapon and magic but all seems to rebound from their skin as if by undivine protection.

The mural continues around the corner and further down the passageway.

Upon closer inspection the shrine has a small indent in the center for some sort of object to sit, the indent is shallow and caked with dust but its edge is cleanly cut into a hexagon in a way that no natural formation could have caused. The six lights shining outward appear to be more than just lights, they flash with a multitude of greyscale tones that dont mean anything on their own. The lights originate from small holes in the shrine's tablelike surface, and are reflected around the room into their positions by small shiny stones set into the ceiling and pillars.

pssst there are no skeletons in the catacombs, please edit your posts.

I'm sorry that I can only post near the weekend (work and all that) but please refrain from making up enemies within dungeons, they are preplanned maps and just making necromancy be present may interfere with what that particular dungeon actually is. (For example, this is not a dungeon, but instead a timecapsule warning of a recurring catastrophe and detailing how it can be stopped.)

For future reference here's a list of things players can't control:

    Dungeons,

    Dragons,

    Main NPCs (Like Elgar),

    Other Players.

Doing so is 'power gaming' (controlling another person's character without their permission) as the GM of this RP, these things are my characters (excluding your characters of course).

(Also, if there is a map involved, any enemies present will be drawn on to said map. )

The room to the north is dimly lit by a strange artifact sitting in the center. An odd shrine resting between two pillars, it shines six beams of light into the surrounding darkness. The shrine has a flat stone surface enclosed by spike-like claws at each corner. Beyond its appearance, the shrine seems mundane in nature, with no magical aura of any kind emanating from it.

No, Elgar is just running off so none of you can just follow me, that'd be boring. But I'm yet to level up so I want to do some stuff.

Try to wait for at least 2 different people to post between each of your posts, it's just a good practice to prevent the RP from devolving into the adventure of the two players who have the most free time, it's a rule I usually keep in the OP, i'm not going to be strict about it though, I'm sure there are plenty of other more active RPs you can spend your extra posts on.

Sorry to the moderators, but i'm steering this ship a little bit off course. I hope you enjoy.
