Ah, sorry for my lack of posts, I'm currently visiting a relative in Arizona and I couldn't bring my PC so I can't post. Sorry, once again.

Bura nodded when she heard being blind dead unfortunate.
'Unfortunate is an understatement, but she is right.'

Hearing Karel fumble around her words as she tried to describe the surrounding area around them amused Bura, bringing a small smile to her face as it took her all of her strength not to start laughing right there and now.
'Well... She's trying, and that's what matters.'
Bura could already sense a majority of what Karel said, but it was still nice to see that someone decided to try and help a blind person.

Her thoughts were interrupted by the question that Karel asked.
"O-Oh? Ah no, it's fine. I get asked that question many times. Being blind is like... Being blindfolded by four blindfolds as you're sent across a bridge. At first it's scary since you're not able to see, but then, ironically enough, you begin to see more than you could without sight. The main option for blind people who want to 'see' is through blind sense. Blind sense makes use of hearing and feeling to right sense your environment. I, for example, have a higher sense of feeling as I can feel through vibration. Does that make sense? I hope that clears some things up."

((Sorry if it's short. I can't really tell since did this on my phone. I'm currently going to an Airport to fly to Arizona.))

"Ah... Okay. Get some rest then, you look a little tired."

Sol would slide the sleeping Fairy underneath the Kotatsu.

"How am I going to get my name out there? Er... I'm not sure, something like a sign? You know those signs that go into he ground you see, like advertisements for fruit stores or something? I'm not quite sure about influencing the fairies, as they might have a god of their own that they believe in. I don't think we'll be able to get far in this weather though."

"What happens next? Uh... Ah... I'm not really sure. The only other Familiars I have is R and P."

Sol shrugged as she gestured to R and P.

"All I know is that you're harder to kill and I get somewhat stronger with one more believer. I guess we should start out with getting my name out there. Barely anyone actually knows I exist."

I think we can both agree that that makes no sense, right?

It makes sense. Instead of living for infinity, they live for infinity minus 1. AKA...

    (Haha, terrible jokes.)

"And Tada! You are now my familiar! Unfortunately, I don't have enough faith as a Deity to make it more flashier, but whatever works."

Sol claps her hands as R and P can be seen crawling out of the basement door, R looking quite scared. P seemed fine though.

They live one year less than absolute immortality. I'm really interested to see how this will play out.

So they live forever minus one. Gotcha.

"I'm not really sure. Better be safe then sorry and put all of them in."

Sol takes the three strands of hair, putting them in a triangle formation around the tea magic circle.

"Here comes the most painful part... Well, at least for me."

Sol somberly looked at the tip of one of her fingers before biting. Hard. Wincing as she let the blood drip in the middle, the magic circle began glowing golden. A scroll could be seen slowly rising from the circle until it was completely out, floating above the table with any signs of the magic circle, hair, or blood completely gone. Sol seems a bit out of breath.

"Well... All you need to do is sign your name right here... Ah that always takes the breath out of me."

I can't really make a fancy contract thingy, but I can write down what I think the rules for a normal familiar contract would be (not one Sol or Darth would've made). Feel free to edit as you wish

The Familiar must obey the Master's commands. If the Familiar refuses, the Familiar will be harmed through magic.
The Master will know the Familiar's Health.
The Master may harm the Familiar, but the Familiar may do no harm onto the Master.
The Familiar must stay near the Master, unless the Master sends the Familiar Away.
The Master can banish the Familiar to a predetermined location (usually the place where the contract is sealed).
The Master can summon the Familiar to the Master's current location.
The Familiar treats it's Master's Friends as Friends, and it's master's Enemies as Enemies, even if the Familiar does not agree.

Hmm... That sounds about right for a familiar contract.

Well my characters aren't really mortals, humans but immortal. They can be killed but it is very hard to.

Near immortal humans? Sounds quite rare. Sol might be interested in them.

"Ah, I didn't expect you to want to wear the whole outfit anyway, but it was worth a try. Now then, shall we begin?"

Sol clears out the Kotatsu, leaving only the wooden table left. Picking up the teapot, she poured the tea in a circle, the tea already moving to for a magic circle.

"Unfortunately, contracts like these need a piece of the familiar-to-be. A strand of hair should be good enough."

Anyway, do I need to create what the contract would look like?

I was planning to do some weird water magic circle from the tea and the parchment would come out of it. And I suppose you can make the contract if you want.

How would see my characters playing into this?

Ahem, not much people would pass up a chance to live longer and be harder to kill.
