This server has constant map resets, usually about ever other night, along with incredibly immature admins/mods that either don't know how to use their power, or abuse it outrageously, including creating rules on the spot and then punishing you for just violating them. They also don't seem to know how to deal with griefers, at all. Just kind of let them rampage around the server until they seem to randomly decide to ban/kick them.
That, and being very obscure about said rules when inquired about the specifics.
Unless you've a great deal of time to waste, I'd suggest looking on.

I've played minecraft for about 3-4 months.
I'd recommend WorldEdit for a plug in, I love it as admin, and it has multiple antigriefing capibilites along with some nice admin ones that I find nifty in day-to-day being admin.
Your server (apparently?) isn't vanilla, so it won't be the highest priority for me.

Ohyeah, can't set chests or workbenches on fire. Should make a check command to make sure that if it's a flint and steel, it lights it on fire instead of opening the inventory screen thingy.
Idk how it happens, but an item with ID 255 gets added to the inventory. When you try to open it up, you can't pull that item, so it crashes. Just have the host download the plugin that has /invenclear, and have them do it to you. Tada.
Currently java has a memory leak somehow, and even the powerful server machines are experiencing lag. Please look at the incremintal memory leak thread for more detail.
In any case, it makes true 24/7 servers impossible, since they need to be constantly restarted.
You were banned due to incredible stupidity and deconstruction of the spawn area. Don't ***** when I ban you for you contesting me. You spawn FACING the way out, so don't start ruining the place.
