I would definitely join if I could, I think I have contributed enough to be worthy of a slot (maybe that's just me being very self-entitled) and I haven't really had an engaging multiplayer experience since beta 1.8.1 on the hexbox (like anyone knows that server).
Thanks for playing and leaving feedback, and wow you beat it pretty fast! Either my map was really that short or you must be a CTM veteran. Do you mind clarifying by what you mean by "more professional?". I don't want you to work on anything for me because I would feel bad, but could you just elaborate? I will happily improve my thread by any means possible and glad you're willing to help. Most of the threads I'm finding to use as an example are collections which wouldn't really make sense for this thread.
It's actually a combination of both, I've been on the forums since 2011 when I started playing ctm's. As for a good a thread layout, I prefer not giving to much clutter, if you want to see an okay OP just click my signature and it will send you to my map thread.
The only issue with the map is that you need to rework the thread itself. IMHO it just doesn't look that professional, you can do it yourself or I could send you a text file of what I would do and you could post that if you want to.
Eh. It is better than most first maps, but for next time...there's a lot to fix. First, it gets very old. It seems like there's buildings and buildings of useless crap and it's just annoying to go through all of them. I can see where you brush-stroked holes in the buildings and it's obvious copy and paste. Hand design them and make each building different. I mean you had some buildings(the one with a quarts ball on top) and the subway..But overall, I would make more unique environments. I think a linear branching map made by you would be great Loot: At least it's not ALL random. But really random loot= no no no no NOOOOO Handplace it please. All of the loot after say, 5 or 10 mins was useless. I just skipped all the apartments and just went to the top. Mobs: More interactive mobs. As I said before, the same old stuff in EVERY building gets boring. Glitch: Nether Portal got blown up by a ghost. You can't relight it. I had to build my own portal next to yours and light it. Overall, this is a nice map for a beginner, but in the future, stop the randomness and repeatedness. Make everything yourself and make the environments unique. Immerse the player by making each area unique with its own mobs and loot. Keep me updated for the next map!

Thanks for playing it through and I appreciate the feedback. I pretty much agree with everything you said-the level of detail in the map is very low. I have to say I have gained so much respect for map makers through this project, man is map making time consuming. I had decided to make this map on a free week I had and thought it would be plenty of time. When I realized how long these thing take, I sped through by using random loot chests, repeated buildings, ugly brushes, few custom mobs, etc. I have no plan to make another map because even this low-effort one wiped me out, but if I do I will dedicate a lot of time to make sure it is quality. Monumenta is still well and alive, and in its 6th iteration. There has been very little activity recently, though, and the server will run out of funding and die in August.
(Judging by this thread is the incorrect thing to do, we didn't like to clutter this place with server talk so we have our own forum thread, and a private Skype chat.)
I never really got to experience Monumenta or Galaxia which really frustrates me. Galaxia had so much potential but it only lasted for a month and that month just happened to be when I was on vacation.
I of course can't comment on the actual quality in game play for the main maps as they aren't done yet.
I can say though, judging from the screenshot teases that they are without a doubt the most beautiful CTM maps I have ever seen.
I only hope at least one of them can match the evil of Vechs' legendary maps.
Legendary is easy, this map is hard. Get your facts straight man.
Idea to balance maps with the stupid hunger nerf that makes me want to punch the wall. Then I realized that they added the saturation potion effect. My idea is a stamina potion which would be Saturation 1:00 and Slowness 1-2 1:00 (I don't know if 30 percent reduction is to much for this bonus). Yes you would not have to eat food but the slowness balances that out, there could be several implementations of this especially earlier in a ctm before to much food is dispensed.

After watching both of these game-plays thus far it really has given me motivation to start mapping again... I would... but honestly I have no inspiration, and I can't get my mods working properly... I do love both of these playthoughs though and if anyone else were to make a Let's play of this map, that would make my day

The screenshots look amazing, you are truly a skilled builder. Also you have a city incorperated in your map which I think is just amazing. Will definitely play when it comes out.
For a long time I was searching and hoping that someone somewhere would create a proper city ctm map. For a long time I was satisfied with From Ashes and From Flames, but finally I found it, a proper city ctm. It's not the best map by any stretch (low difficulty and random lewt galore), but I definitely think you guys should check it out. Post Apocalyptic Survival CTM
This is exactly the kind of map I have been craving for. The screenshots on the op are not that visually impressive IMHO but I'll try the map itself before I start judging it at all.
Also using the word survival at the end of your map series can push players away (preconceptions and all).
It's about time jeb made a use of testificates but i hope that the money isn't really easy to make it could be used a replacement for vitual money plugins like iConony.
