posted a message on WorkStation [9x9 Crafting table (Pictures)]
Hmm... I was watching Corridor Digital's live action minecraft video "the last minecart" and I got the idea for a double crafting table (3x6) since this would greatly simplify crafting of various types of guns, but after a bit of searching (seriously guys, just because the site's search is broken doesn't give you an excuse to not use google, it's pretty simple. btw, not talking to you specifically, just everyone. but enough with my rant...) I found your post and I'm starting to like your idea more. The only thing I would change is the dispenser, it just seems to complicate the idea. Also, I was wondering how the items made in this way would be coded, that is an extremely large amount of items to code into the game individually. <---saying this because I really don't like the idea of the things being crafted on this table(?) to come out as block structures, it's just messy.

posted a message on The Aether(Anti-Nether Realm) Current Topic: New Nether
I was looking for a use for the "crying obsidian" and I had come up with the idea of using it as the portal to the Aether, but I like your idea of using glowstone much more, it fits better with the theme of the Aether. :iapprove: I am very interested in the possibility of the Aether being added to the game. :Notch: But there is still one thing I am confused about; how does darkwood form? I have done much exploring of the Nether, and have not come across any naturally growing. Does it form from trees that I plant on soil i brought into the Nether? :SSSS:

posted a message on Crying obsidian
I will ignore the fact that this is a repeat topic simply to express my ideas on the subject.

    (1) I like the "portal to the Aether" idea very much, but perhaps it should be a "broken" Aether, one that is not quite as perfect as it is made out to be... (yay, conflict!) of course, some form of inhabitants would be needed to achieve this, but I believe this would bring an enormous level of emotional depth to minecraft.

    (2) Due to it's relation to the Aether, it could be craftable into "god" weapons, ones which don't decay, but may be stolen (?) by mobs if you do not attack within a certain time-frame of them attacking you (or some other mechanic).

    (3) Any suggestions on what its relation to Lapis Lazuli should be? I don't think Crying obsidian should be craftable from anything... maybe Lapis is used as handles for aforementioned "god" weapons?

posted a message on anyone else played this game?
It's called "Spybot: The Nightfall Incident"; This game used to be on Lego.com back when I used to get on there. Lego commissioned it from another company, It's definitely not a LEGO!!! game, you just see one of their old products in it from time to time. A couple months ago I remembered this game and decided to play it again, but apparently Lego removed it from their site for unspecified reasons. I did some searching and found it here:

It's a refreshingly satisfying play, if you can ignore its glitchyness. :SSSS:

you are wrong if it is 5km squared then that is 5000x5000blocks
    OR
25000000 blocks per hole layer you make

You are bad at math and/or reading comprehension. Read this again:
    Quote from me »
Assuming that a single block is a meter, then, you'd be looking at making a map that extends from (2500, 2500) to (-2500, -2500) - so roughly a 5000 blocks square.

...seriously? this is the only time I will ever use the phrase "stop talking about yourself" if you're going to insult someone for being bad at math, at least bother to open a math book or look something up to make sure you are right :SSSS: the area of the space between points (2500, 2500) and (-2500, -2500) is 5000 blocks on each side, which is 5000 blocks squared , as in 5000 blocks to the second power, which is 5000 times itself. this equals out to 25,000,000. That is just the amount of blocks on a single level, so Squadalah Man is a beast for taking this on :iapprove:
