Adds more rods, fish, plants, and more!
This mod is designed to increase the variety of fish as well as further develop tvhe fishing in Minecraft. Currently this mod adds 12 new fish. Please report any bugs you find. Comments and feedback are welcomed heavily.
The mod currently does not have sever support. That will come in a future update.

- Fixed bug where wooden fishing rods were crafted with half the amount of default uses.

Fish Behavior
Pay very close attention to this section, as it will give you clues on where to fish.
Each type of fish has a different behavior relative to minecraft biomes and objects. Catfish tend to hang around in shaded, shallow regions of swamps, but sometimes come out during rainy days. They are caught with worms or frog eggs. Salmon are found roaming rivers of mild-temperature areas when using worms as bait. Bluegills and Goldfish are found commonly in swamps when using worms or frog eggs as bait, and Carp are found commonly... well, everywhere. The rarest of the fish are the Suckerfish, which are found near weedy river banks. Bass are found in mild-temperature rivers, but are only caught with worms. Small Piranahas can be caught when fishing in Jungle rivers by using a fish morsel as bait. Peacock Bass are caught in Jungle rivers when using Small Piranhas as bait. Pike are found in cold rivers, and are caught by using Bluegills as bait. Yellowfin and Bluefin Tuna, currently the only deep sea fish, are caught by using Bluegills as bait.

Cooking
The player has a chance of catching a disease if eating raw fish. You must cook the fish or fish meat to receive full hp benefits. Eating a raw or cooked fish will also produce fish bones, which you can craft into bonemeal.
Bait
Certain kinds of bait can be obtained to help catch fish.Worms can be found in weedy areas of swamps during a downpour. Bluegill can be fished out of swampy water spots. Frog Eggs can be found in weeds. Fish Morsels can be crafted from fish meat.

INSTALL
Place the zip file into your resourcepacks folder under %appdata%/roaming/.minecraft and then start Minecraft from your choice of launcher. When the game has finished loading, click the Options button and then click Resource Packs. Select the Sn0wZ0ne Snow Leopard inspired icon and wait for the pack to load. This could take a minute or longer. Once it is loaded, you should see immediate changes. Click the DONE button and enjoy!
NOTE
Other versions and variations and TONS of MOD support coming very soon! I am doing ALL of this by myself, so this will take time. I tend to be slow at getting things done at times due to an illness that threatens to kill me. I will also try to get a decent assortment of screen shots and videos put together that feature the textures. I apologize sincerely for the poor introduction I have made to the pack, and am working hard to remedy all of my truly egregious mistakes.

NOTE:Sn0wSong version 1.45 fixes certain volume issues with Mojang's default settings being incompatible with my original normalization levels. I know it's been a very long time since I have been able to work on my texture pack. But that has finally changed!
I am now adding all of the new items, blocks, materials, etc, up to 1.10.2 for a forthcoming release: Sn0wZ0ne 2.0!
For now, I have updated and upgraded Sn0wSong to 2.0! It includes a lot of improvements, two completely new and totally original songs added to the menu, and replaces every sound and song in the entire game up to version 1.10.2! Grab a copy now! And keep watching here for serious updates coming soon to textures and Mod texture support for updated versions!

That is intentional volume levels for the Entity/Player/Attack sounds.
I figured, with all of the PvP and multiplayer maps that these sounds would be stacking very heavily.
Here's an alternate file to boost volume for single player and for increased loudness:

Just open the original Sn0wSong 2.0 zip file you have in your ResourcePacks folder, browse in the file to assets/minecraft/sounds/entity/player/attack and then drop the files in this ZIP file to overwrite what is in there. I am SO sorry for this.

The NO-HURT version is provided for anyone who feels bad or squeamish about hurting passive mobs/animals. Post in this forum any suggestions for possible changes or improvements to Sn0wSong 2.0, and keep your eyes open for eventual updates to Sn0wZ0ne textures.
I will release Sn0wZ0ne texture in small doses, though...like each time I finish a mob. I wish I could code so I could make a super-simple installer to add the textures to the pack easily with each mini-update.
Also please let me know if there are any Textures you think I could have done better in the original set. I made a LOT of changes to the materials blocks that may not have gotten published yet in the updates section, but they are in the most current version of the files available for download.
Let's make Sn0wSong 2.0 blow up all over the place! I would love to see it used at least once in every modded Minecraft there is...whether kept or kicked.

WHOA!!! (tee hee)
Parts of that Matrix song are really similar to my Nether song! I had no idea, actually. There's always the chance that something gets stuck subliminally in an artist's head, though. LOL! I LOVE The Matrix, but only watched 2 & 3 a few times each. I have a LOT of theories about The Matrix, too. Such a great film based off a graphic novel based off a sci-fi novel from the 80's.

I am about 45% through the new sounds added to Minecraft 1.9.4.
I've been having a lot of health problems, but I am on a roll, now, getting the SFX finished.
After those are done, I will be finishing the textures as well.
I am so sorry for all the delays. I truly am! But I just recently got fitted for an electrical wheelchair and now they want to swap that for a scooter so I am hobbling about as best I can.
I love all you guys! It means SO much to me to hear you are all enjoying the songs and the sounds and the art.

1.9 version of the SFX will be coming along soon.
I do not know why you would be experiencing any lag as a result of loading only the sounds into your resource packs, though. But I have noticed that there is a JAVA limit that prevents MC 1.8.x from loading my textures. MC 1.7.x loads them just fine, but it seems that tiny bit extra from adding the Guardians is all it takes to crush to poor thing. But that is just at 512x so far. Lower resolution versions of the textures, when i finish them, should hopefully load without problem.
All 1.8.x Mobs have been added already.
As for how I record...I have a cornucopia of items, techniques and my own studio. It's a LOT of work and requires a lot of creativity and tweaking to get just the right sounds AND have them fit into the game just right with the animations, and remain seamlessly a part of an overall SOUND.
Sorry it's taking so long. I am terminally ill and been fighting a lot of battles lately.
