((Let's bring life to this again shall we?))

As I walked through the hallways of the cabin, I noticed several changes to the design, there was plenty of pearl white marble decorating elegantly on the walls and edges. There was also a touch of gold shimmering and working well perfectly in color with the pearl white. Probably, a great architect made some major improvements when the campers left. I chuckled, it was a lot to look at. Then I remembered something important, one of the camp's best blacksmiths was offering weapon upgrades right before summer ended, claiming to enhance any weapon and then bringing it back next summer. Slowly leaving the cabin, admiring the the artwork a little at a time, I headed over to the Hephaestus cabin to see any changes to my favorite longsword, Angelica.

There were also slight changes to the cabin as well, more equipment and metalworking spaces. My eyes headed straight to the right where the camp's famous blacksmith did his magic, Tony Green's blacksmith shop. The shop was decked out with dozens of different materials and machines to work with, plasma cutters, belt grinders, and hammers. Tony looked over to me and smiled like he just won a contest, I walked quickly over to the entrance where he brought out a smokey black, glossy, and sharp. "This took the most time cuz' I had to make a 'lightweight but strong material' as you requested. Well, I combined the celestial bronze with titanium and hardened and sharpened it for- let's just say this took a long time 'kay?" he laughed hysterically.

I was in awe, there was much improvements, and it suited me perfectly. He handed me the longsword carefully, I wanted to test it out badly. Tony read my mind and brought a copper minotaur dummy, steadily I spread out my legs and bent my knees, getting ready. Within seconds, I dashed straight at it and slashed a mighty blow diagonally at the minotaur's neck. Sparks flew and the head flew off, never had I ever felt so powerful. It truly was an amazing sword. "Thanks so much," I said. Though, my true skills and strategies were pretty good, there would be plenty of powerful monsters I'd have to face someday. I had to prepare myself until then.

I placed my plate in the handy dishwasher, designed by a Hephaestus camper, it allows you to slide in a plate and washes it until it becomes shiny. Very essential in my opinion. Next I wanted to take a look at my room, everything seemed to be where I last left it, lots of drawings, books, and figures. The janitor harpies may have taken a few snacks when I left though. I didn't sweat it, after all, it was the same old Camp Half Blood, a really nice place if you don't think too much about it.

Ah, summer vacation, it was lovely as a child. Instead, I go to Camp Half Blood, a camp for gathered demigods to be kept safe and trained. What a wonderful summer, some might say, but it is horrific once you finally encounter a gruesome monster. To keep things short but detailed, every summer us demigods come to Camp Half Blood for the safety of our lives, I appreciate it and all, but I really miss being at home and having a drink. Anyways, in the bright morning, I slowly entered camp with Mr. D or Dionysus the wine god in front greeting people.

"Kay! Welcome back!" he said always butchering everyone's names, it is a common tradition I guess. i walked pass the Big House and headed straight towards the cabins where I was going to check out the new members of the Athena cabin. Which probably wasn't going to be much, to be honest.

The cabin was decorated in a nice fashion with a miraculous owl statue in front, even though I'm a child of Athena, I have a bad fear of owls. I mean they look like they're going to bite your head open. That would be a bad way to end your life, ugh...

I entered, I saw my good friend Kalei hanging out on the chairs, he's a cool guy, with curly brown hair, a funny smile, and is quite a good dancer, the best I've seen to be precise. We had a quick conversation talking about what we did when we were not in camp, any new movies coming out, and funny jokes of course. Both of us cooked up some breakfast to start off the beginning of something special. Bacon and eggs cooked with olive oil, delicious.

    Name: Ray "The Elite" Airo

    Age: 16

    Gender: Male

Appearance: Ray is described to be handsome with slightly long black hair, with well chiseled cheeks, but his skin is very soft and could be called delicate. His clothing consists of a handmade black long-sleeved shirt with white stripes outlining it, a ruby red coat, grey pants, and glittery navy blue ankle shoes. People have a tendency of thinking he's older than he really is most likely because of his height. Sometimes, he wears a black strap diagonally around his body to hold his sword.

    Godly Parent: Athena

Special Ability(s): Enhanced reactions allow him to predict and attack and dodge. This was most likely because of his training with his godly parent. He also is a master tactician and strategist obviously from being a child of Athena.

Equipment/Weaponry: When he brings his strap, he has a longsword which is named "Angelica," it is made out of celestial bronze, it was tempered to be pitch black and was made glossy after it was complete. In the mortal world, he has a wallet with $50 total in case of an emergency.

Number of Years at Camp: 5

Bio: Born on October 8, Ray wasn't an average child, Athena didn't actually give birth to him. She was disguised

as a young attractive woman with standard clothes, brown hair, and a bright smile. Athena and his father met when the two saw each other in a lush forest town. His father lived in a big cabin house that was in a small neighborhood next to the modern city. One day, a wandering Athena in search of knowledge came to the small neighborhood and went to the library to read about Greek mythology books. Ray's father was there too, in the same section, they were attracted to each other and met plenty of times, discussing the topics she was hoping to learn about.

As a token of gratitude, Athena brought Ray, it was an amazing gift. He was raised with pride, and care, making him into a strong, brave, and intelligent boy. Soon, when Ray was 11, Athena revealed that she was a god and was the one who brought him to Camp Half Blood for many reasons such as the monsters that came to attack demigods. She explained it as much as she could that would make anyone understand, that was the power of the wisdom goddess.

Ray was soon greeted by the troubles of a demigod could face, being separated from family was hard, the day he arrived at Camp Half Blood was exciting experiencing new things. But it didn't help that most of the campers were stuck in the Hermes cabin. It was also sad that many children were unclaimed by their godly parents with nothing to do. He also learned that the campers were usually brought to camp by a satyr who is secretly watching you and examining you for 'demigod properties.' That wasn't so appealing. For 5 years, he's been in Camp Half Blood and has made quite a name for himself. His nickname or title was "The Elite" representing his talents in strategy and swordsmanship. Henceforth, he would continue with his life as a camper at Camp Half Blood and come back to his home when summer was over.

I saw Glitch's metal dog walk into the medical room, I smiled at him. It was comforting to see that someone was caring for me, really comforting. Continuing with my sketch, I concentrated more into a detailed plan, I wanted to help extremely hard. On the paper I drew several human-like figures to represent the team of course, each ready covering a side. The background depicts the Undergrounds, a dark and rocky area . I laughed at the picture, it was a silly plan to try to go to the Undergrounds. I gave the sheet to W0LV, wondering his his reaction.

I smiled, I was finally going to meet the people I was going to work with for my... job I guess. I didn't know what to think of it, but it made me happy that I was actually chosen for something. Sliding my beloved gem into my pocket, I stood up and walked into the Elder's dwelling. When she wasn't looking, I glanced at the girl who was sleeping, she seemed a little strange in the way she was talking. I turned away and listened for the Elder's instructions and what was really going on.

As I went over to see the Elder, I noticed two people, a beautiful girl and a boy that was much older than me. I didn't pay much attention to them, but I wondered if they were invited too. Sighing, I drank a few gulps of water from my bottle I eyed the sleeping girl, it seemed out of the ordinary that someone would sleep on the floor suddenly. But she could've had a sleeping syndrome, who knew?

"Hey, were you invited too?" I asked the older boy, "I'm Brendan, nice to meet you."

I sat down next to the other two and looked into the sky, it was all I would do when I was waiting. To me, my powers weren't worth much, if I was in trouble, how could I fight back? I hadn't fully discovered my other ability yet, or I really hadn't been able to use it. Being safe in the town felt wonderful, with not much to worry. Yet it wasn't comforting to know that everywhere else is rotting and being corrupted. It wasn't much to worry about, I thought about a more happier topic like the gem I always kept with me. It looked like a blend between a marble and a mirror, it was so colorful and so reflective, I pulled it out of my pocket and grinned a it.

((The introduction was exciting, I'm looking forward to this.))

I slept well overnight and was continuing far into the morning, I would of kept sleeping until my mom called my down and said it was a letter. Slowly, but surely, I made my way downstairs and went over to my mom. "What is it about?" I asked.

"It's from the elder," she brought the letter to me and I couldn't believe my eyes. I skimmed through the letter, my eyes widened after finishing.

    "... Woah."

I rushed upstairs to my my room and put on my best clothes, which was from a friend of mine. I put a wide smirk on my face and headed down to the kitchen. There was a wide variety of cupboards and shelves for cooking and snacks. I grabbed a pack of jam-filled biscuits and a water bottle then headed out for the Elder's residence, "See ya mom!"

He and his family traveled to Ruxanthal to try to stay safe, but would Brendan be safe when the whole world was dying? He toughened himself and became more brave to face the corruption. One night, he went out to the forest with a knife in hand to finally test if he was brave enough. A corrupted gecko and jumped straight at him. Now he is continuing to live in a positive mood despite the evil all around him, he keeps going forward and becoming braver so he can survive the corruption.

    "But, what about-"

I was already cut off when the medical drone dragged him to the medical room. Several coughs came by, but my head was still spinning, I felt like I was going to pass out. By the time I tried to think about what just happened, I fell to a deep slumber. I felt like the heroes in stories who got amnesia from a bad wound, but I wasn't attacked. My panda stomped on my gauntlet and pulled on a lever, "Ascension," he said towards the machinery and it activated the automated health care system. It could be used when I was ever injured, but it's actions were different this time. A portal was slashed open and slowly, it vacuumed all the black blood from my magic system. However the portal was endless, even a drop could be laying around.

Soon I woke up because of the health care system, I was feeling a little better, not that it was even good at all. I laid still for a while, I became in the same state where I didn't know what to do again. Sleeping wasn't going to help me at that time, I closed my eyes and thought for a minute, I let my stress go away and allowed myself to be calm. I summoned out a sheet of paper and a pencil. If there was any trouble he had to ever face, he could at least draw out some ways to counter them.

((Alright, now that everyone has reacted, let's begin the climax!))

I wasn't sure what to say, what to do, or anything. Kyron, he was the one who could save Drake, I had to go to the 'Undergrounds' from what I was told. After hearing the telepathic message, I turned to the person who probably sent it. I wasn't sure what to do. Sun headed back towards me and sighed, "You're not sure what to do and you call yourself a hero huh? What a joke."

Anger came through, I shot him a look and began the prototype plan of saving Drake, "OK, what he said to me was that there was someone named Kyron that could help him. We're going to have to look in the Undergrounds, anyone know where that is?"

I awaited answers or even clues to help solve the problem, if everything went right, I could at least consider myself as a hero. What I didn't realize was that the black blood was infecting my magic system which affected my body too. I let out several coughs and felt dizzy...
