    Allways wanted to make a multi level dungeon in this game. Seems like you did what I never got around to! Awesome. Only problem is, I get a crash whenever it generates.     Any chance you could update the "high_res" connected texture folder? Currently the textures do not tile correctly for me and seem to be randomly placed.


    also any chance to restore the connected textures for glass too? with the center being translucent?


    Am I maybe doing something wrong? I have not touched my install since 1.6 other that updating the game and optifine.


    EDIT: As for the "high_res" textures. I had the 'alternate blocks' option on. However I needed to disable optifne to change that option. That is why I was unable to see it. I still can't get connected glass working, at least not with translucent textures.

    posted a message on Fixing Misa's Texture pack connected textures to work with current versions of minecraft.

    I have been away from the minecraft scene for quite a while. (since about 1.6) I have allways been using Misa's texture pack And I came back and found that with the latest version of optifine connected textures don't seem to be working properly. Currently it looks like this:


    Note how the sand does not connect up properly and seems to be rotated randomly. along with the glass not connecting properly.

    I just so happen to have a picture of what it used to look like saved:


    Note how the glass is not only connected, but also the center bit is translucent, not fully transparent.


    I do have it installed correctly as other texture packs do work.


    Does anyone know how to restore the look I had in previous versions?

    Check GotoLink's update page found here and you will find a up to date version. I no longer work on this mod. Really cool to see people still use it years later.

    nope go right ahead, do whatever you want with it. im done with the project. but as allways some credit would be nice with whatever you decide to do with it.

    ever since i lost my flash drive with the most recent version of this, i lost almost all motivation to keep working on this. the (obfuscated) source code is out there floating around somewhere. anyone is welcome to update it themselves. if you do let me know and ill add a link to it here. but don't expect much from me (at least this project) any time soon. also at least with these dungeons i am pretty much done with them. they do everything i wanted them to, and i'm very happy with how they turned out. I had like 11 prototypes of other generation types, but those where all lost with my flash drive. the only thing you can expect to see from me on a semi regular basis, would be content on my .

    I also recommend a sticky Piston trap. Here's how it works:
    [Pressure Pad] [Pressure Pad]
    [Mossy cobble]
    [Piston] [TNT]
    How it works:
    When the player steps on the pad, it activates the piston, bringing over the Tnt. Once they step on the other pressure pad, expecting nothing. KABLAMO!
    This should be found on harder dungeons for the sheer difficulty, Add better loot in them to to make it more rewarding! :D

    i dont think im understanding your idea for a trap. from what i understand it would look something like this:

    maiby im just a lil derpy cus its 1 in the morning for me right now... but that would not exactly be what i would call an effective trap.
    (dont mind the zombies or the pillar in the background. :P)

    most of it is not used, there is a TON of unused WIP stuff in there for failed dungeon types, it has been a long time since i have looked at it, but if you have any questions don't be afraid to ask.
