I've been watching building tutorials, and what I find bizarre about them is that blocks are widely used in other way than they are intended. E.g. pressure plate on a fence makes a table, but it's still a plate: it sounds like one and shrinks when you go closer. Thanks to mods, actual tables and other furniture are not a problem, but one block I still haven't found proper substituon for. Trapdoors.
I often need to cover things when I build, but allocating the entire cube space for it is a waste to me. So the question is: Are there any mods that focus just on thin covers? The best example I can think of is Map Frames from Bibliocraft or Online Picture Frames, however the former come with too much stuff I don't need, while the latter have easy-to-access GUI.
To cut it short, the covers must:
be the only blocks in the mod
not base on Multipart plugins
have a thin collision box, so entities can occupy the same block
stick to any side of the block
remain when the block they stick to is removed
not have any interactions/GUIs (at least not with empty hand/common blocks)
Well, NEI is dependable too. Of course, it's not a problem to match the versions, but still, 2705 and 2768 builds won't start up with the same NEI version. (And, since NEI is a JEI addon, which is weird to my mind, it's also necessary to match these as well)
It isn't? Thought that, the higher the last number, the older the build... But if there's another concept, be so kind to enlighten me. I came straight from the 1.7.10 and don't know much about what had changed, and what remains untouched
Umm... hullo? i know it's been ages, but maybe someone actually will hear...
That's a really cool mod, this skin customization system and all. Though, I'm having an item rendering issue. i can only see dropped items and cabinet contents while facing south. They turn around as I do, like I'm playing Doom, and they have, like, sprite rendering, which is completely invisible from the south side. This only happens with items, dropped blocks are visible just fine.
There's a similar rendering bug with Bibliocraft Tool Racks, either. Though, having something put in a Bibliocraft Shelf next to a Tool Rack returns the normal rendering. and switching Dropped Items option to Fancy in Optifine makes them have volume, hence visible rendering... but how do I solve the cabinet contents bug? Seems ilke there's a buggy rendering algorhythm in there, which spreads to the whole modpack.
P.S. and yeah, I'm using 1.7.10, mod version 3.0.14, though it says 3.0.6 in mcmod.info. heavy...
Can anyone provide a guide how to make a custom achievement in Triumph? Where do I find possible parameters apart from KILL_ENTITY or minecraft:skull ?
Guys! ANYONE! PLEASE! I need help with what I think is the basics.
I've been reading the wiki pages and trying to get the idea for several days long, but I don't seem to make JAS work the way I intend.
Those spawn tags are too complicated for me to get and I fear I might break some other CFGs.
If any living soul is reading this PLEASE DO HELP I'M BEGGING YOU!!
Let me know if you are willing so I could give you the contacts, I'm new to either forums, programming and JAS btw, so it'd be better if you explained to me whatever I need to know personally.
Oh, and if you must know, my main objective is to send all the spiders to Nether, so that other Overworld mobs would spawn as usual.
(I'm using 1.7.10 and mobs are added by Natura, Special Mobs, Improving Minecraft and Primitive Mobs)

Hello there.

If you know of such mods, please help
P.S. I'm playing version 1.12.2

Anyway, it still won't work on a 2768 server unless there's a way to downgrade a bit without much sacrifice

UPD: Oops. Mixed up older and larger. My bad
