The BOTTOM of the Nether?! In this episode I finally get diamonds and decide make my portal to the nether, but run into a big problem.
Portal Problems! In this episode I try to fix the portals problem by going to a nearby jungle and placing a portal there so I won't be at the bottom of the nether.
Okay, one thing I like to do with my lets plays is make them short, 10-15 minutes works best for me. If I see something 20-30+ minutes I'm way less likely to click it cause unless I already know the person and what to expect, I can't be sure I'll enjoy it and don't want to invest in so much time trying to find out. Some people do longer videos, it's just a matter of preference. With that said, I only watched 2 minutes of your video so this is just the few things I noticed right off the bat.
Next is editing. If your chopping wood or something that happens quite regularly in minecraft you don't have to include it in the video. Again this is kinda preference but I prefer to try and not say anything for the boring parts so I can easily cut it out. I basically make plans to leave a part out if I know it's boring or long. BUT I always try to keep my recorder going, so if something surprises me I can catch it and include it in the video. It's just something you gotta have a feel for, I use to do a lot of nervous chatter in my first videos making them hard to edit.
Aww, that's a great place for a town! And I love the sectioning off the town in districts, that's waaay more organized than me and my friend's server. XD And that's so cool that your a chef! It all looks so lovely, I'm sure this will be an amazing server. =D
Did a let's play of it as well. Kinda got stuck a lot, but that was mostly because I just wasn't looking very hard for anything. XD (It was my first adventure map, wasn't sure what to expect/do) It was really fun and cool despite my slow going! Very well coded, and had great atmosphere.
OOOOHHH YEAAH! I remember now what happened the first time... So I tried OBS again and it caught a few frames before freezing on one frame entirely and staying there the whole recording through. I remember I took it as it just "required too much" to even run on my cheap laptop. Bandicam is what I use because it was the only program that worked without some kind of problem like that... So I was just sticking with what worked with my hardware. Whenever I upgrade hardware I'll give it another try though!
Oh, I tried OBS and couldn't get it to work easily. But since you brought it up, I think I'll go give it another try! Thanks for the suggestion redcanary and nanozone! Maybe things will be different this time, and I'll be able to get how to use it. X3
Tip : I watched some of the clips in your "trailer" and, uh, well don't plan for things to happen and then act for them. Like the "scary monsters" and you shooting the guy with a snowball. Just act, natural - as in, don't act!
Also, i'd recommend buying a recording software, because, having the water mark is quite annoying, and low quality recording software's
(like bandicam) tend to stutter and apply odd effects to the recording.
O.O Well, I guess the beginning is kinda acting, I mean I was talking to the camera which always feels a little strange. And I didn't say scary monsters, I said scary noises because one had just sounded. I watched the trailer the whole way through and I suppose half of it was "acting." The other half was genuine, it's how I naturally act.
But you know I feel a lot of the big youtubers are going through the motions and just "acting" out what there subscribers expect them to do, so..... Maybe no one on youtube is really that genuine anyways, but if they enjoy doing it and the viewer enjoys watching it, does it matter? You pay to watch people act and be fake when you watch a movie anyways, what's wrong if youtube is sorta the same way a bit? I guess my "not acting" would be my skyblock series, almost nothing exciting happens in that! XD Anyways, you make a good point and I will see about smoothing out those parts that are clearly an act. But if I can't, I'll take it I naturally sound unnatural then. :/
I'll upgrade from bandicam when I have the money. And if you had watched the whole thing you'd of noticed it was only up there for like two clips, which were from some of my oldest videos before I had purchased it. It's not there now. I hope next time you'll watch the whole thing before commenting, being partially informed is never ideal. Thank you for the first feedback though, it is highly appreciated!
I took a better look. One issue is you have some occasional frame stutters in your vids. Nothing to major, but that could be one reason.
Yeeeeaaah, that's something I'm aware of but I can't really fix it right now. ^^' It's already been mentioned a few times by people in my comments section, but I haven't ever felt it was so bad as to keep someone from subbing unless there that picky, which I'm sure someone out there is! But you gotta start somewhere, right? Whenever I get the funds though, I'm going to buy a gaming computer which should make my frame rate beefy and awesome! XP

LUCKIEST FIND EVER! In this episode I continue my search for a location to put my house and find a spider spawner!
