Sorry, I just get agitated when receiving multiple criticisms about something I've clarified multiple times.
... I'm only human.
My suggestions are partly for inspiration. If you don't find some of the ideas funny, that's fine. I'd be interested in hearing about something you guys would find humorous.
What you are suggesting is something that could move very large groups of blocks, which would involve rapidly deleting an replacing large groups of blocks, which if you've ever built a mega-piston push farm you know creates a heavy load on the server. This idea would allow the movement of potentially many more blocks much faster than what you see in a mega-piston push farm. Therefore I can't see how it would not cause lag. To assume that a new update is going to magically make the game able to process unlimited data is not realistic. If you can explain to me how the data would be handled in such a way as to not cause excessive server load, then I will support the idea.
I hadn't considered this in combination with the Infinity effect. I may have to reevaluate my position.
I think arrows fired with an infinity bow should only be under the effects of the weapon. Potion tipped arrows are fired as regular arrows. This would resolve the conflict. Perhaps dragons breath potion arrows could have particularly potent effect.
One in 50 chance of a villager being "insane" (offering the most ridiculous trades imaginable). Insane villagers would also have some bizarre behaviors, though what specifically I have not figured out. Also a chance that one of these villagers will rip you off, give you nothing in return for payment, and go "Haha!" and run away.
A villager ripping off my emerlads is not something that's gonna make me think, "Oh hahahh!! That's pretty funny!"
My goodness, I guess I am not allowed to clarify anything. I've already said twice that the most you'd stand to lose is a flippin' CARROT or BLOCK OF DIRT!
NO EMERALDS WILL BE HARMED IN THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THIS IDEA!!!!!!!!!!!!
Even one truly over-the-top randomly occurring "Easter Egg". The examples given are cool, and the Mooshroom is already a perfect example that's already in the game, but I think it's time for a new gag. The next Mooshroom like idea. Maybe something just as crazy but a little more "wild". Personally, I think the insane villager or a mob that pranks villagers fits the bill.
PS: It was not my intention to imply hostile mobs would ever spawn from chicken eggs. People always assume the worst. No, I was talking about a very rare chance of a Mooshroom or Pig hatching. It was just a shot in the dark.
The wood wheel is a big wooden wheel that can be used to carry collections of up to 12 blocks over flat surfaces, albeit quite slowly. This block introduces a new mechanic... Tandem blocks. This means that they can only be placed in sets of two at a fixed spacing apart and when one tandem block breaks, it's partner breaks as well (Think quantum entanglement, whatever happens to one happens to the other). The orientation of the block when placed determines where the partner is placed and you cannot place a tandem block unless there is a block under where both would go with a air or water block above.
The idea is inspired by the desire to be able to build mobile siege weapons. Contraptions like simple dispenser rapid fire arrow weapons or possibly tnt cannons could be built upon these, as well as large carts for hauling livestock or villagers. These wood wheel based contraptions could either be pushed by a player or pulled with a lead into position and then activated. If one wheel is destroyed, the other pops and the object remains immobile until the wheel blocks are replaced. Slime block creations can already move across the environment, but all or most of the mechanics are dedicated to this purpose. The wood wheel would take over the mobility aspect, albeit in a manually powered way, and free up the attached slime blocks and components to serve a different purpose.
The wood wheel allows forward and back motion but also side to side motion with much greater resistance. It's crafting recipe is one iron ingot with wood blocks above, below, and on either side. The wheels are fairly weak. One can intentionally pop the wheels off and replace them in a new position to allow easy movement along the new axis. The wood wheel is "sticky" on it's top side only and is obstructed by blocks being in it's path, except for half slabs and stairs which it can move up or down like a ramp. The tandem spacing for the wood wheel is 4 blocks (skips 3 to the right and places it's partner). You must have an even number of tandem blocks in your inventory to place them.
It's still a thread about what peeps would find funny or amusing in the game. Personally I think unexpected moments can be funny in and of themselves, but perhaps I am alone in this. As far as the insane villager idea is concerned, I feel I need to reiterate that "ripping off" players of anything valuable doesn't happen. The worst that could happen is that you agree to give a carrot for 64 emeralds, and the villager laughs at you and runs away with your carrot. Big whup. The only reason you'd be trading with an insane villager is out of sheer curiosity. Also, I fail to see how something like the spawning a cow in lieu of giving steak is not funny because it's a "prank" and not a "joke".
Also, again, the rarity of encountering one of these guys would prevent the gag from getting old and annoying or seriously mucking up villager based operations. I don't know if there's a villager limit on PC, but on console it's 50 for the entire world, so that's how I set the 1 in 50 odds. Perhaps on PC it would have to be one in 200 or something.
My mob grinders supply me with all the arrows I need, but I don't object to this idea. Until you get to the point of having a good sized completed grinder, arrows can be a bit hard to acquire. But not for the lack of feathers, but for the lack of flint. Gravel doesn't yeild all that much.
Well the idea of making it gravity affected is that it can move up or down. If this idea in it's current form, even without gravity, were complimented by something like a redstone rotator (a block that reorients a neighboring block) then you could create elevators that only need one Levitation block to go up and down (and even horizontally). In any case, with or without gravity, with or without complimentary concepts, I support this. It opens up a lot of possibilities in the game.
I agree with some of the ideas, just not the specifics. The levels of bonus effect/damage need to be more balanced, but in principle the general idea of things like Pincushion and Pierce are cool. I do like the fertilize enchantment as well. I commend the thinking behind these ideas, but they need more refinement. Partial Support.

... Oh and you don't have to tell me what mob I am. Nothing beats being able to teleport.

Running along and suddenly discovering a small but very deep hooooooooooole! <Respawn>
.. Happens more frequently when battling creepers because I am moving backwards and strafing.
Also, when I don't quite notice a creeper in time and have to fill in a big hole in my yard.

I support this not as a "gotta have!" so much as a "why not?" kind of idea.

I'm thinking it's just an aesthetic issue.

Just to be clear, the redstone comparator doesn't change, it just gets a new buddy.
