A common thing I see adventure map devs doing is forgetting that they are essencially designing a game when they create them. They then create smaller, less fun versions of better maps without understanding why those maps are fun to begin with. Little design thought is taken before release.
I hope to change that.
This is Hostile Enviorments. A map that aims to raise the bar for Single-Player adventure maps.
Heavily inspired by Half-Life, the goal is to create a 2-4 hour single player adventure focusing on making exellent design mechanically and aesthetically. The map aims to have nine chapters, each with their own theme and music. The map follows a desperate survivor in a desolate world, fighting his way to a rumored camp of people where there is temporary peace.
The map at this point is a concept. I hope to present a "demo" of what I want this to be by the end of this month.
But, I shall use this time to gather a team. Right now I need -
Texture Artist
Composer (preferably 8-bit music)
Builder
If you're interested, pm me with your email and I shall respond justly.
I hope for this to completely push what can be done in MC to the maximum.

So guys, talked to Insane, asking about LWC (/lock, /unlock chests, signs, etc.)
...well, bad news. He says it's going to be donator-only...unless I get ten people to say:
"Make it for everyone"
On this thread, of course. The plugins are getting updated tomorrow, so post post post, ten people! And hit that fancy green button in the bottom right corner of this message. I believe that counts as saying it too, unless Insane says otherwise.

Role-Play Exp.: I've been in a few roleplays with your own Mr. Mazekial. None related to Skyrim, though.
Why Us: I've been reffered by Maz. While I did sell Skyrim, this seems interesting indeed.
Time You Can Dedicate: Summer time, so, plenty. We'll still be going out for days but I'll be free.
Brief Description of Yourself: I'm calculated and humorous, but, if pissed, I am a time bomb, and I'm going to explode. Sometimes in... unpleasant ways...
Explain Role-Play In Your Own Words: The art of collaborative real-time writing.
What Is Powergaming and Metagaming? Explain in your own words:
Metagaming is using OOC information to use to your advantage from a IC standpoint.
Powergaming, is, "godmodding". Overpowering your character and controlling (puppetmastering) others is a example.

Backstory (1-2 LONG paragraphs):
In the land of Hammerfell, Sixxon grew up. The redguard culture and society did not particularly like Sixxon's interest in Magic. However, that did not stop him from going to the College of Winterhold all the way in Skyrim for training in Destruction Magic. During a venture in the forest, however, he was attacked by a evil deity named Dēvuḍigā. He confronted Sixxon and cursed him with the dark aura, a force that will unleash a beast from his body and kill him if it is not controlled. To expel it, Sixxon must be able to get powerful enough to defeat the beast, and then slay it inside his own soul.
The dark aura rid him of all his abilities, his years of training and mastery.
Stripped of all magic power, he wandered in sorrow...
He was given a time limit of five years.
And then, once one year was up, the Dragonborn was defeated. He went and fleed Skyrim as soon as he could on the boats to Solsteim. In Solsteim, he sought out some way to cope with the Dark Aura curse's additional effects on his emotions and appearance, all the while seeking another College to continue his studies. Another year passed, and he finally got a lead of a college, only to find out it was long since abandoned and in ruins. He desperately sought out another means of continueing his studies, looking through what few books were intact in the college ruins.
Another year passed, and when he returned to one of the cities to stock up on supplies, he witnessed a Daedra horde demolishing the townn and murdering the citizens. After dueling with one of them (and promptly getting his ass kicked and running away) he discovered the attack occured all over Solsteim, completely ravaging it. He promptly wandered by himself, looking for survivors...

Open Response Questions - Answer them as detailed or briefly as you need. No powergaming,no metagaming, no rule breaking in these scenarios. They were made to test your character's personality and how you would ultimately role-play him/her.
As you travel the coast starving, you spot a ship around two miles away. It could be full of pirates or slavers. Maybe something worse. In all this time, they are close to the shore, close enough to spot you. What do you do?
Plan my attack by scanning their movements, and see if they spot me. If they do, trick them into staying on the island while I set fire to their ship using matches., and take the food they have.
While looking at wares in Dolorpagus, you spot two men distracting a merchant while another man steals a large bag of wheat and runs away. What do you do?
Lunge at the runner and kick him in the face. Use his dazed body to block any retaliation from his two allies, and then use his body as a human shield against the two distractors.
While traversing the outskirts of a small village, you hear some faint screams. Feeling curious, you peer over a small hill and see two bandits robbing an Elf in a dense forest. Behind the Elf is a large shack.
Wait until the bandits turn around and then backstab them. Knock them out, and then slit their necks.
FUSRODAH!
(PPS: Explination for the "beast"
No, it's not like the incredible hulk or anything, if that's what you thought. The five year time limit is the time limit for Sixxon to get as strong as the monster inside him, so he would evedently have a fight with the monster inside his soul. If he can't do that within five years, the beast will KILL HIM and get released, it's not like a power increase, HE DIES.
