I especially agree because one skeleton isn't bad but even two or three (God help you) is extremely difficult to even get close enough to do damage.

I like it quite a bit! It looks nice and simple, yet very good looking. The ore and gravel in the front looks a bit ugly if that's supposed to be decoration. That's the only thing I think it could do without.

This is actually pretty cool! It most likely is just an unbelievably rare occurrence of a not really generated village...

Well, you didn't give a very great description, but are you sure the saves are still on your computer? Because it's not very hard to transfer them if that's the case. Or do you want to wipe your Minecraft folder and then put your saves back in?

I spawned at the bottom of a river, underwater, I guess maybe I'm a descendant of the mermen.

Alright thanks guys! I'm probably just going to do it because I don't want my progress in this world going to waste, and I really want to play 1.7 just for the new features, not to have to do all the work to get my stuff back.

That's the beauty of Minecraft. it is what you want it to be.

But what I'm looking for is opinions on what you think about it being legitimate. Could I tell someone that the world is completely legitimate even though I started with those items? Because I did earn them after all. Thanks for the feedback!

As of recently I started a Minecraft survival world, and I'm really liking the progress. However, to keep the story nice and short, I know that 1.7 is doomed to come soon, and I really want to start a new world with it, because of the new content/world generation. So, would you guys consider it cheating to transfer my items over to a new 1.7 world? Like, if someone asked me, could I say it was legitimate? I mean I did earn them in a survival world on hard difficulty, I got them for real the first time. Does transferring them to a new world void their legitimacy?

Wait, you're telling me I can fire full strength TNT that sticks to things long distances with a gun, and that it's NOT overpowered? Heck, if I joined the marines and they gave me a choice between a normal assault rifle and your gun, I'd be firing TNT at terrorists like there was no tomorrow. Saying it's not overpowered with your current description just isn't true. Plus, I honestly don't like the idea of guns in Minecraft, there are too many games with guns! Lets keep them out. Maybe bow customizations like the people above were saying.

Like every game I've ever played, you can go in and out with it. I might go for months without playing Minecraft and then come back to it for a while. Heck I picked up my old gameboy color and played a few hours of pokemon yellow the other day. Games can get old, but sometimes a break is the only thing you need.

You rarely see your own skin anyways, who cares? Can't stand the inventory menu with a new skin?

By the time I've located the stinking portal I've usually found all the loot imaginable to mankind. It seems like the portal is always the LAST thing I see.

Just a quick suggestion, maybe you could work on making the curve of the stairs more rounded? It looks very jagged right now, and I think that could improve the overall appeal greatly! Other than that, stunning build.
