Oct 19, 2011Hey Minecraftforums, I've been tinkering around with this project for ages, and finally it's ready to be released. I've played minecraft for many, MANY hours, and I'm finally burnt out, so this is (probably) my last submission. I hope you enjoy exploring it as much as I enjoyed building it, cheers :smile.gif:Posted in: Maps

! By the way is it attached to a city? or are you still building one around it ;P curious to see how it will fit into it.
Yep, it's attached. Right now it's on the outskirts of what I have completed so far :wink.gif:
Here's another picture for you :tongue.gif:

Updated, sorry for the late rating.
The Battousai, I have to deny you. Over 15 images for a house that size; can you choose some for me to rate off of?
Sir Terrible - Once again I am genuinely impressed. I think the major negative here is probably that it's a wooden stair roof, and that just about kills this house. Other than that you really have this done well. Kill off the deformed trees in the first shot from the album too. Keep the normal ones though, I can see this being those peaceful, relic-like "tied-with-nature" so to speak styles, especially judging by the use of leaves as vines in the last image. The shape is absolutely amazing. Addressing your concerns on size, this is probably borderline megabuild in my standards, but it's small enough to be rated. I can suggest that you build a small cabin in the place you were when you took the first screenshot, just so you have a place to enjoy such a beautiful house from afar xD Good job, I really think you should post your builds in the screenshots forum. I'd like to see more from you :happy.gif:
Hehe, this was made long before the cobblestone update. Being a bit of a texture pack purist (if you can make it look good on the default, it'll look good with pretty much any other pack), the cobblestone texture was a bit noisy for my taste. Might go back and edit the roof at some point, but it'll take foreeeeeeeever :sad.gif:.
Jul 26, 2011Not sure what size is considered to be "megabuild" for you, so I'm kind of testing the waters here. No biggie if this gets denied, but this is probably my proudest work in minecraft :wink.gif: Fully furnished/decorated interior as well, since I didn't want to give you a huge load of pictures to go through.Posted in: Screenshots

Sir Terrible denied, you gave me a ridiculous amount of images for the size of the house.
Fair enough, here's an updated gallery with just 3.
Jul 7, 2011My representation of Húsavíkurkirkja church. I found it on a Flickr image search, and though it would be fun to build in minecraft :smile.gif: Tell me what you think MCforums!Posted in: Screenshots
Finished build, with comparison picture :wink.gif:
After a bit of landscaping...

Looks good, damn good.
I would replace the obsidian with something different, because its a natural block and looks "handcrafted"
Thanks for the input! I was very torn between having a "rugged" looking obsidian, and a polished obsidian. In the end, it was a obsidian/iron checkered floor that made me swing toward the polished one. I could probably compromise between both, I'll see what I can do :wink.gif:
Also, added a list of changes
Jun 17, 2011Hey Minecraftforums! Sir Terrible here with my first ever texture pack. It's not a full-blown retexturing of minecraft, but rather the tweaking of certain textures to make them gel better than they do in the default pack. Since this is the first release, feel free to comment with constructive criticism (you won't hurt my feelings). Without further adieu, I present The Tweak Pack!Posted in: Resource Packs
List of tweaks:
Cobble given a "brick" overlay.
Mossy cobble given "tree leaf" overlay.
Glass border redone.
Birch tree given normal tree texture without black spots.
Line between double-halfsteps taken out.
Gravel retextured into more of a "dirt path" kind of look.
Several blocks desaturated and given more yellow/red values.
