    "Free"
    Jeff,
    Poseidon Gas Station,
The woman revealed her face from the coverage of her cowl; exposing her face to Jeff. He noticed her young, pretty features, designed with scars and painted with dark red hair. She sips silently on her tea as Jeff roams around the gas station, leaning on several gas-pumps, waiting for whatever was to happen next.

"So...Who exactly are you?" Jeff asks, stopping his random pacing to look down at her hunched over figure.

    "Free"
    Jeff,
    Outside of Vegas,
"Sounds...Good.." Jeff responds between heavy gasps for air.

Jeff was by no means unhealthy, he did his share of near continuous running during his stent of robberies, but at the pace this woman was running at, it was hard for Jeff to keep up. Following the woman in her "race" to the Poseidon Gas Station just a ways from Vegas, Jeff is tasked with evading numerous obstacles that heavily conflicted with his bodies capacity. Passing through Freeside, the two make their way past the poverty that engulfed the area. It was shameful to see how crime-ridden Freeside was, especially after the riots that occurred when the Second Battle of Hoover Dam erupted. War-torn buildings stood still amongst the poverty, most of the damages were inflicted long ago, some recently.

    Jeff,
    New Vegas,
"As long as I'm not going back in that cell; I'm fine with "repaying my debts" Jeff responds with a slight smirk.

In truth, Jeff was playing her on. "Repaying his debts" sure, Jeff did some "bad" things in his life, though he paid credit to most of his actions from a rather poor upbringing. He never really considered himself a bad person, he only killed when necessary and robbed simply because he enjoyed the thrill of action, Jeff considered everyday life boring without living on the edge. Truth be told, Jeff was addicted to danger; drawn to it.

((Guessing that due to the loss of leadership from Robyn and Charles, the Dark Ones probably disbanded, but it's unlikely that they all died due to the group being wide-spread from the East to the West. Most likely, the Dark Ones split into two factions due to in-fighting for power.))

    Jeff,
    New Vegas,
"You're kidding me right?" Jeff asks as he looks over this woman.

What kind of a question was that? He thought to himself. Standing a silent vigil, waiting for his answer.

"Well no one wants to be trapped in a small cell, am I right? Certainly not me, I did my time, and it sucked, I ain't gonna wait my entire life behind bars." Jeff says

    "Sinnerman"
    Jeff,
    New Vegas,
Gazing up to the woman beyond the fences, Jeff frowns at her unexpected appearance. Looking at his legs prior to her statement, it's evident that he's no longer shielded by the stealth boys' invisibility.

"Sh*t." Jeff mutters; looking to the red-haired woman beyond the fencing.

Looking over the woman, Jeff noticed that she was wielding a large sword, dawning a bland cloak over what appeared to be light-armor. Raising a brow at the woman's stance, Jeff tries to get a peek of her face, though it's secluded behind the cloak's hood.

"Uh...Can you do me a solid and not mention this?" Jeff says awkwardly behind a smile.

The woman's expression was hard to read.

    "Sinnerman"
    Jeff,
    New Vegas,
Passing on his judgement call, Jeff quickly sneaks through the door leading to the main office. Cubical's paved the way to a door at the very end of the hall. Sitting, typing away on their terminals, several NCR officials work in their confined spaces. The stealth boy did it's job as no one noticed him passing through the middle passage. Like the red sea splitting, Jeff walked as a free man through to the door at the end. Silently opening the door, Jeff passes through the offices to the main entry. The entry was decorated with vacant chairs and a large desk. Behind the desk sat a woman, presumably the greeter. Jeff makes his way to the main door, opening it, he hears the woman behind the desk inhale out of fear. Quickly exiting as the woman tries finding an explanation as to why a door would randomly open, Jeff returns to the strip, unscathed. The dry air greets him again, an unwelcome friend accompanied by the sun. Blinded once again, Jeff squints, he raises his arm to shield the rays. Looking around, Jeff sees the closed fence that surrounds the perimeter of the NCR outpost. Frowning, Jeff thinks over climbing the fence, it was impractical as the NCR most likely electrified it. He'd have to power down the generator, which would take to long; he could already feel the stealth boy running out. Peering over to one of the guards, Jeff's eyes focus on her.

    "Sinnerman"
    Jeff,
    New Vegas,
Stealing the stealth-boy was like stealing candy from a defenseless child. Agile in his pursuits of escaping, Jeff called out to the guard, to which he answered with a swift 'hush'.

"F*ck you!" Jeff yells at the guard.
"Hey!" The guard responds as he quickly turns to the cell.

His eyes widen as he looks where Jeff should be, only to see nothing but a plain cell.

"What the...?" The guard says slowly approaching the cell.
"Where'd he go?" The guard says to himself as he peers into the cell.

Frowning, the guard unlocks the cell door and opens it, exposing himself to Jeff. Seizing the opportunity, Jeff quickly jumps the guard, swiftly beating him, putting him into a confused daze until he falls unconscious. Taking the guards guns, ammo, and keys, Jeff drags him into the unoccupied cell; locking the cell with the keys after the guard had been set in the jail cell. Looking around the room, Jeff looks for a proper exit. He was confused on the layout of the jail room, it'd been a long time since he spent time in this exact jail, he'd have to get his bearings before wandering off into a potential trap. Reading the door signs, Jeff deciphered that the main offices were one of the few ways out of the prison, the interrogation room led to the brake room, it'd lead directly to more guards. Knowing the basic layout of most prisons, Jeff thinks over the main offices. The cubical's shouldn't be too crowded, if no one walks in the middle of the isles, Jeff might have a chance at making it to the front opening then to the door out.

    "The Imprisonment of Jeffery Ryan"
    Jeff,
    New Vegas,
The soft buzz of a nearby generator echoed in the prison that Jeff inhabited, an uneasy feeling had conquered Jeff's mind as he wondered what would happen to him. Would he be sentenced to death or life in prison. It was one of those feelings that just couldn't be easily erased by any practical means. Two hours had already passed, not a single interrogation was held, no poking and prodding from NCR officials, just a hauntingly silent confinement. Frowning as his eyes once again focus to the blood stain, Jeff's mind wanders, thinking over many things, mostly escape. He pondered over whether he could escape by an air vent, but that method was by all means juvenile, well known, the guards would be on him in seconds. Perhaps if he could slip a stealth boy from one of the guards, take the keys and run.

Jeff thought long and hard over this idea as the guard paced back and forth in front of him. Waiting for an opertune time, Jeff's eyes dart back and forth from the guard's pocket to his face. He waited until he was completely turned to enact his plan. It was a shot in the dark, a guard having a random stealth boy on him, but Jeff was no stranger to weirder things happening.

    "The Imprisonment of Jeffery Ryan"
    Jeff,
    New Vegas,
Caged behind steel bars, Jeff sits quietly on a wooden bench where prisoners typically rested; either waiting for their release or transfer to McCarran. Focusing on a small splotch of brownish-red blood that'd long since stained the dusty concrete floor; Jeff is slightly stirred from his trance as a man in uniform enters the room. He looked young, inexperienced, and nervous; it was all but obvious that he was assigned the position of keeping watch over prisoners. From the look on his face, Jeff noticed that the guard was trying not to make eye contact. Smirking, Jeff recounts having a similar clan member back in the day.

    "Luck of the Dice"
    Jeff
    New Vegas,
"Jeffery Ryan, you are under arrest for the robbery of six casinos and the murders of eighteen men and women." One of the soldiers announces as he eases his way through the crowd of men.

Rolling his eyes, Jeff goes through the standard routine of being arrested by the NCR. They read him his rights, recited from standard protocol procedures that'd been torn from old police academy books. Smirking, Jeff's hands are bound in a pair of rusty handcuffs by what appeared to be the captain of the guard. Nudged along, the guards line each side of Jeff as he's led to the Vegas holding jails for junks and vagrants. People of the strip stop in their tracks to watch the capturing of the infamous Jeffery Ryan, mastermind casino robber. Maybe Jeff exagerated his criminal prowess, but he certainly wasn't unknown, his actions were more than recognized by the common folk of Nevada. The NCR enacted a massive manhunt against him in their efforts to capture the man who hid behind a cowboy hat and black bandana. It'd been a grand total of fifteen or so months since Jeff was last captured outside of Primm. He spent two and a half months locked away in Camp Maccaren, sentenced to life in prison, he was lucky enough to escape during a routine inspection.

The guards reached the perimeter of the Military Police's compound on the strip; Jeff smiled when the gates opened for him as he was dragged in by the many guards.

    "Luck of the Dice"
    Jeff,
    New Vegas,
The clanking of two solid cubes in his hand marked the sound of their continuous turn in his shaking palm. Tossing the dice down on the green table with strange markings, Jeff listens to the small crowd of people who gathered around him cheer and applaud his success. Smiling, Jeff takes the casino chips awarded to him, they'd be worth two-hundred caps in total if he were to cash them in. Making his way through the thick crowd, Jeff is patted on the back by many as he heads towards the exchange booth. The smell of cigarette smoke and pre-war cologne and perfume drifted to his nose as the people dispersed, talking in excited tones amoungst each other. Finally reaching the exchange booth, Jeff takes a quick look at the woman who stood quietly behind the glass pin that she worked in. Her uninterested expression changed instantly upon gazing at Jeff who casually smiled at her. Beaming with nervousness, the woman clears her throat.

"May I help you sir?" The woman asks, blushing.
"Yeah, I'd like to cash in these chips." Jeff says smoothly as he sets the small pouch full of casino chips down on the counter.
"Okay sir, if you'll allow me to process the amount of chips you have; I'll get your caps to you within no-time!" The woman says cheerfully.
    "Thanks." Jeff says again.

Watching the woman behind the counter take the pouch and unload the chips into a strange, stainless steel slot, Jeff slowly thinks over what he was going to do next in Vegas. He thought over visiting the Gomorrah, it'd been a long time since he'd been laid. Jeff's attention returns to the woman as she slides a small pouch full of bottle caps through the slot.

"That's two-hundred and twenty two caps sir." The woman says; smiling as her light green eyes gaze up at Jeff.
"Thank you, have a nice day." Jeff responds with a nod as he takes the pouch and slips it into his pocket.

Slowly advancing towards the entrance, Jeff smiles at the waving patrons who congratulate him for putting on a good show. Passing by the front desk, Jeff glances at the men in pen-stripped suits who smile at him as he passes.

"Thank you for stopping by the Tops Casino, have a great day." One of the more enthusiastic men routinely says with a cunning smile.
"You too." Jeff says as his hand reaches for the door.

Opening the door, Jeff is greeted with an unpleasant gust of dry, warm air. It was a change up from the dank, moistness of the casino. The sunlight interfered with Jeff's vision, he'd been in the casino for roughly an hour, the change in brightness nearly blinded him. Shielding his squinting eyes from the suns rays, Jeff covers his face with the length of his right arm. Looking out onto the streets, Jeff notices several armed NCR strip police aiming their assault rifles at him.

"Sh*t." Jeff says as he raises his hands to the sides of his head.

    "Unwelcome"
    Robert, Helen, Stephanie, Annabelle,
    Upstate, New York,
An unpleasant change in the atmosphere of New York had settled in the small, quaint town of Poughkeepsie. A feeling of uncertainty swept through the town's inhabitants as they sat behind their TV screens, watching in fear as a world-wide outbreak quickly conquered the world. Among the many was Robert and his family, an average family of four that had created little to know harm and minded their own business. Robert pushes up his reading glasses from the end of his nose as his eyes drift to the small print speeding through the brackets at the bottom of the TV's screen. The sound of the news flickered on and off as several emergency warnings displayed, blocking the news woman's face with white lettering. Letters spoke the words no one wanted to hear; evacuate to any nearby cities immediately. Cold sweat trailed from Robert's brow as Helen rushed around the house, packing valuables into a large black roller suitcase.

"Robert!?" Helen yells to return Robert's attention to what was occurring.

Robert's eyes dart to Helen as she was mid-way packing a wadded up shirt in the suitcase.

"Yes?" Robert asks rather calmly as he was still in shock from the news.
"Help me pack." Helen barks harshly at Robert.
"Y-Yes, yes, sorry." Robert says, vacantly as he quickly limps over to Helen; taking the items she held in her hands and stuffing them into the suitcase.

Footsteps sounded throughout the house as Anna and Stephanie hurried, grabbing any valuables they wished to bring with them. Stephanie steps into the kitchen, a small, one-strap bag in her hand. She sets it down on the table as she reaches for the sharpest knives from the knife block. Quickly placing the knives in her bag, she hurries to the other side of the counter to open the drawers, pulling out a box of matches and other useful items.

Anna paces around the living room, clutching her teddy bear close to her chest as she cries in confusion at all the yelling.

"Anna, we need you to hush, please." Helen says passing by Anna as she set her suitcase near the dinning table.

Anna screamed and shouted in protest at Helen. Red faced, Helen yells at Anna to shut up for a minute. Anna's mouth opens and closes as her lip trembles; Helen had never yelled mean words at Anna before, this was new to her. Crying, Anna runs off to her room.

"F*cking great, Stephanie, go get your sister, now!" Robert commands as he grabs a pump action shotgun from a gun closet.

Stephanie runs off towards Anna's room, running into Helen who carried a box full of medicines and health care products.

"Watch it!" Helen calls after Stephanie.
"Rob, what're we gonna do?" Helen asks; setting down the box next to him as he digs in the closet.
"We're leaving." Robert says steadily as his hand plunges for a box of shotgun cartridges.
"Can you be a little more specific?!" Helen snaps out of annoyance.
"I don't know, Helen, I really don't!" Robert yells, slightly gazing up to her, his face red, veins showing on his forehead.

Helen backs away as she stares down at an angry Robert. Robert takes a deep breath as he calms himself down.

"Just...Just help me find something to put these guns in." Robert says.
