I've downloaded and installed every single version of Optifine for 1.12.2 Forge. Each one of them crashed upon boot. I imagine the log would be too large to fit in a standard pastebin, and I wouldn't even know where to find the exact logs. I really would want this in my modded Minecraft because I know it would fit visually. Please advise.

There is a thread on this form that discusses lag in all mobs, have suggested it may be the AI programmed into the Zombie behavior. I'm experiencing the same problem. If it is indeed Zombie AI attacking villages, would it matter where those villages are on the map in relation to myself? In other words, should I construct protective barriers around villages that are distant from me? Keep in mind that I'm playing a survival map with cheats (I know, a controversial move, but the only cheats I'm utilizing are the keepInventory and /tp cheats), so maybe that has something to do with it?

Is this the mod where you can bang two rocks together to get gravel, and then sand and whatever comes after sand? I'm playing this with Trollcraft, and this is one of the achievements in the book that I can't figure out.

I don't believe a crash report is generated. The Java executable just hangs there without a loading screen or anything. All that can be done is just quitting the executable with no report generated. I will try anyway get back to you.

By suggestion of Geforce, I wish to propose the following problem in this new thread.
So I've updated my Forge file from 2768 to 2781 so I could run the latest update from iChun (the iChunUtill and the Portal Gun mods). I even added LiteLoader to my Forge so I could run the single LiteLoader mod I had. When I launch the game from my Minecraft Launcher the Java executable starts, but it does not load the game. I am running Java Edition Forge 1.12.2 on macOS Mojave 10.14.3 allocating 8GB RAM to the game. Please advise.

So I installed the Legends Core file (1.8.3) into my mods folder, and it isn't even acknowledged in my modded Minecraft game. I am running Forge 1.12.2-14-23-5-2768 with LiteLoader 1.12.2-1. Please advise.

Good Day. I know there was a thread similar to this one, but I got yelled for contributing to it with the same problem. Pray that I don't get yelled at for this thread.
Basically, I want a permanent power source for AE2. I'm sick and tired of feeding my vibration chamber coal blocks and lava buckets (the former being extremely inconvenient) to power the energy cell to power the small ME Network I have going, which by the way I will want to expand upon while having no clue on how to do so. In aforementioned previous thread, it was recommended that another mod like Buildcraft could accommodate such a need. I've read the wiki, watched a video, but somehow the redstone engine will not send energy to the Energy Acceptor thus powering the ME Controller. The pipes will not connect to the engine, nor does the Energy Acceptor.
I just don't know what I am doing wrong. Please advise.

I do not know if this question has been asked, but I'm making this new thread because the rules said so.
So the problem is I'm experiencing a significant amount of lag in my modded Minecraft version, especially when opening the inventory.
I'm running modded Minecraft from release 1.12.2-forge1.12.2-188.8.131.5227 with over 80 mods.
My java settings are -as follows;:
Xmx8G -XX:+UnlockExperimentalVMOptions -XX:+UseG1GC -XX:G1NewSizePercent=20 -XX:G1ReservePercent=20 -XX:MaxGCPauseMillis=50 -XX:G1HeapRegionSize=32M
My OS is macOS 10.13.4, 4Ghz processor, 16 GB RAM, Java 8 Update 171 (build 1.8.0_171.b11)
If you need any more information, don't hesitate to reply.

As far as I know, the NPC Wand and Cloner only works when you're in Creative mode. I'm not sure why this is, but I experimented with this, and got positive results. Also, if you're looking for the tools that came with CustomNPC, they're in their own mod called Varied Commodities by the same author.

Technically speaking, last I checked, it was just supposed to be a hoe, but made out of bread. Seems like you tried that though.
On a side note, you aren't actually supposed to use this mod in survival mode. The wand has potentially game breaking features, such as making it so an NPC can give you a resource every time you talk to him, or things like that.
If you really want one, grab one from creative after enabling cheats.
And here I thought there was something wrong with the mod itself, and I wasted all this time trying to figure out how modding works.

I followed this construction exactly, but I substituted cobblestone for the wood, and I can't see it working. The mobs just cause a traffic jam in the center of the build. Please advise.
