It's not a problem on our end, tale of kingdoms has a lot of... Poor code choices, and that can lead to very bad effects when dealing with other mods.
Not saying that Tale of Kingdoms does or doesn't have good code, but that bar gets in a way of several other mods (Asguard Shield and Ars Magica (Although not so much on this one)) which both compliment this mod greatly.
Contact that guy and get a hook made for your blue bar. You appease your populace and you have to code next to nothing.
Also, could you please, please add Entity IDs to the config so this can run along side of Custom NPCs? I'm trying to get the maker of Custom NPCs to do the same but he appears to be on vacation currently. (Granted with the number of mobs this mod has, I'm surprised you guys didn't use mod specific entities)
The thing is, this mod could be used in conjunction with other mods to give Minecraft something it desperately lacks for an RPG server, a progression model. (We have custom armors/weapons, but custom health is something that is really missing)
This is probably more of a could have feature, but could he have dialog options that listen for other dialog options to go off?
Example, someone in range says dialog option A, which causes a nearby NPC to say dialog B. Repeat until a given time limit. Have this exchange cancel all current priorities until the exchange ends.
Is there a way to store data into a database with this mod?
An example of this would be a "One Time Chest" where you can specify item ID's for it to contain, and it will have those contents for players who access it, but only the first time. Every other time, the chest will be empty (or contain a consolation prize)
Could you please add Divine RPG's entity ID list to the next releases config? This mod currently conflicts with many others due to not being able to assign it's entity ID's elsewhere. (Alternatively you could use mod specific entities as well)
Ok! So updating worked out great for me, lots of problems fixed... and I can confirm latest Forge with 1.4.7 works perfectly fine... Now, the downside... I lost all my known spell recipes on my world. This isn't the hugest problem ever, but I would like to be able to recreate spells if I ever lose my spellbook... are they any ways to get the recipes back? Someone mentioned being able to craft them, but I've tried incredibly hard and have to assume that it requires KNOWNING them before you can CRAFT them... lol.
Is it possible that some of the conduits pass through chunks that are being unloaded? How long is the conduit chain? You may want to add some chunk loaders around them to ensure they keep loaded, then try again.

The first one, you can see a uncharged Conduit on the right despite there being a nexus right next to it. (You can see the active one on the left)
The second screenshot shows the charge inside the caster (top values) and the nexus (bottom values) yet no charging is occuring.
Next up, I was heading to take a screenshot of the essence nexus just to show it to is at 100%, in range of the chain, and not charging either only to have a caster crash the client with the following (Server was unaffected):

As shown by the above, the caster was set to cast Swift Swim. (I have 4 setup to cast Haste, Regen Other, Swift Swim, and Agility)
This caster has worked before, but it has likewise always hit me. It is possible that it may have missed me that time? I don't know. I will do some more trials.
Edit2: This is not a production server (yet) so don't think I am annoyed whatsoever. I love the idea behind this mod and want to assist in debugging it where I can. Just wanted to clarify. Having these issues does not bother me at all.
Edit3: Upon some more trials, this caster is crashing the client with 100% accuracy in the last 4 trials.
Edit4: The caster has enough mana to cast the spell so that isn't the issue. The projectile IS hitting me, as I log back in with Swift Swimming. Oddly enough, I also have a mana regen buff? (Roughly 10 seconds long)
This is a picture of the Essence Nexus and the other side of my Seer Gate. Both of these casters are also not at 100% and also not receiving power. The one on the left is the one casting Swift Swimming if that helps at all.
Edit6: The caster is no loner crashing the client. I did not change a single thing. The hell

For those of you having problems with losing magic levels and spells recipes not matching up: Please ensure that you have the updated version or Ars Magica (5.32.272) and MCore (3.2.8). These patched versions fix most if not all of these kinds of issues.
Also, keep in mind: Logs or it didn't happen (pastebin or in spoilers, please!)...just saying "it doesn't work" doesn't help me much, and I'll probably ignore it.
Try to give as much detail as you can. What were you doing when the crash happened? What stage of ars magica were you at (magic unlocked, nexus created, full essence system running, etc.)?
I did get as detailed as possible. I'm not having errors, or crashes, or logs. (I wish I was so I could have something definitive to go on). The conduit's just simply are not functioning I tried breaking them and placing new ones, placing new casters, new seer stones, new nexus's, nothing is transferring essence. They worked fine before I reset the server.
We put a warning in the known bugs saying do NOT use firefly on SMP.
Could you put an option in the config to disable the item from dropping? I can already see people using the item to deliberately crash the server already :/
