posted a message on Using Minecraft maps in AdventureCraft
    Hello.

Sorry if this was asked already, but the search bar did not show anything related.

I was wondering how I can use a Minecraft-built map in AdventureCraft. I've already tried dragging the save into the worlds folder of AdventureCraft, but the map ends up being an ocean of water or lava, or I am spawned inside an unbreakable block.

So, is it possible to use a Minecraft-built map in AdventureCraft? Thanks!

I fixed your reply for you...

Instead of repeating what the last 20 users said, why don't you guys put your brains to work. Reply with something productive, you know. Like: "U SHULD TOETALLY MAKE DIZ TURN DA SHINEE YELLOW WORDZ BIGGAH!" or something in internet meme form. If you don't consider this a mod, good for you; Move on to another topic if you don't have anything intelligent to contribute.

No, I don't consider myself a modder. No, I don't consider this a complete mod. And no, I don't expect to be treated like a true modder. But, incase you haven't known, there are a few users here who actually appreciate this thread. They had no clue how to change the splash text, and now they do. Sure, you can say "WELL DATZ A TOOTORIAL DEN!!! U NOOOOOOB!", but like I said before, that's not really contributing anything. So, I have a message for the haters. By flaming/whining/stating the obvious, you are just bumping this topic straight to the top of the Released Mods forum. I just wanted to thank you for that.

So, I want to know what you guys want me to add to this so that you consider it a mod. Tell me, I'll listen.

Second, good job with the "loophole" you exploited :tongue.gif:[...]

    Loophole? What loophole?

Also, I hope to get version 0.2 out today. It will include the following:
A tasty, crunchy, most important meal of the day food!
An advanced bow, designed with technology in mind!
Completely revamped textures for the items!
      BUGFIXES!

I'm just working on a few more bugs before release.

Revamped the first post to counteract the MMI Police. This topic is INFORMATION on the mod now. The actual mod is located on the MMI Forum site (link in first post). Just putting out the flamers' fires.

Anyways.... Upcoming in Version 0.2 will be:

Arrow Cannon: Launch 10 arrows at once, up to 5 times.
Coal Sword Explosion: Right clicking with the Coal Sword will cause an explosion with a ratio of 5 and damage mobs, but it will destroy your sword.
And anything else I toss in as I go along.

    There shall be bug fixes.

this is not a mod, it's just MMI packaged with presets ...

And MMI stands for what? Make My Item. Do you know what that means? Well, neither do I. But, what I do know is that there are other mods that add items (Plasticraft, etc...) and they act the same way as this. This one is just made the easy way, since I have no experience in c+ coding or whatever it is. To wrap this all up: "I know, I don't care, It's a mod to many people".

Alright guys. I'm gonna get you involved in this! What do you want to see in the next version?

There's gonna be an Arrow Cannon, which shoots 10 arrows at once, and can be shot 5 times. Any other weapon/food/block ideas?

Bugs: -When used with TooManyItems, you can stack Coal Swords. Not sure if you can without it, but the stack is 32.
-Boomstick third use doesn't always work.[...]

Thanks for the report. I'll be sure to look into it and try to fix it in the next version.

This mod is full of win. Also it's compatible with Single Player Commands, Bacon mod, Plastic Craft, Gravity Staff and Optimine.
    (I'm currently using them)

Thanks! I appreciate your help. All I knew this was compatible with was TooManyItems. I'll be sure to edit the readme in the next version. I'm working on it now.

Maybe you people should learn to READ before you insult the person.

This mod allows you to modify the TOTAL NUMBER of splashes in the text file.

Just say you wanted to never have splashes. You could:
    A) Replace 223 lines of text with spaces
:cool.gif: Download this mod remove 223 lines of text and have one space

Minecraft has 223 Splashes, I don't think anyone wants to come up with 223 different splashes... maybe only 20-35.

This still probably makes no sense to you...

I'm forcing you to marry me. Right now. This quote is one of the only logical ones I've seen on the minecraftforum. You're the only person who actually knows how to act civilized.

    @OtherUsersWhoFlameEverthing

    Love you too.

    BeyondDefault
    Version 0.1

Alright. Minecraft's default items are boring. BORING. You want more items. No... You want more, sexier items. Well, this thing is it. What is it? I don't know, but it gives you more items!

    DOWNLOAD:
DUE TO POPULAR DEMAND (Well, complaints, really...), THE DOWNLOAD HAS BEEN MOVED TO THE MINECRAFTMMI WEBSITE HERE.

Witting disclaimer: The MMI post clearly states:

    Post your MMI/MMB mods here
    Not on minecraftforum.net

Well, I put the MOD there, as it says. Everything on this topic is just INFORMATION regarding it. You have been disclaimed?

    .:CANDY APPLES

These things are good. They heal 5 hearts, and you eat the whole thing in one bite (because we're all fat on the inside). Sugar, apple, stick. Put 'em together, and BAM!

    .:BOOMSTICK

No... not "Broomstick". BOOMSTICK! Due to a glitch, it doesn't harm mobs (will be fixed in next version), but it's currently great for mining and stuff. Also, it's sexy. It can be used 5 times, and has an explosion ratio of 3. So, you'll be walking down the dark mountain, and a Creeper will show up. Luckily, you have your boomstick, and the Creeper will be like "WTF-BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!". Only you're the boom.

    .:COAL SWORD

It's black. It's made of coal. It will have something special in the next version. But for now, it's just a black sword. Hit stuff with it. Yay?

Thanks, I didn't see the first reply to this topic...

Anyways, your rants aren't going to do anything. If you don't want to have sexy lines of text flashing your name in bright yellow text on the title screen, then you don't. Posting "Oh no! EVERYONE GET THE HELL ON THE FLOOR! HE'S GOT A .TXT FILE!!!" isn't gonna influence anyone.

posted a message on [1.5_01] SplashMyText Mod [v1.0]

Thanks, minecraftforum user who made this, whose name I do not know!

"No Sugar Added!"? "12 Herbs and Spices!"? Was Notch on crack when he came up with the splash text? Maybe. Well, with my new SplashMyText mod, you can turn the flashy yellow text into whatever you want! That's right! Make it compliment you, insult your enemies, maybe even count to infinity! It's all up to you with this mod.

This mod edits a file that decides what the splash text reads. You can make as many or as few texts as you want. It takes 15 seconds to install, and 3 seconds to write your witty, funny, sexy line of text. That's right. Sexy lines of text.

    DOWNLOAD:
    http://www.mediafire.com/?uorvh2yrs4ji692

    Installation
Well, you're gonna have to download the file, of course. Now, you can unzip the file you downloaded using WinRAR. Now, open minecraft.jar with WinRAR, and go to the title folder. In the file you just downloaded, drag the "splashes.txt" file into the "title" folder of minecraft.jar. Now, delete the META-INF folder. Why? I don't know, but your crap is installed now.

    Adding Splash Texts (After Installation):
    1. Open "minecraft.jar" with WinRAR, and navigate to the "title" folder.
    2. Open the "splashes.txt" file.
    3. Add a new line of text, and write whatever you want.
    4. Save the file, and play Minecraft.
    ================================================
    Deleting Splash Texts (After Installation):
    1. Open "minecraft.jar" with WinRAR, and navigate to the "title" folder.
    2. Open the "splashes.txt" file.
    3. Delete the line of text you don't want.
    4. Save the file, and play Minecraft.

    Troubleshooting
I don't really know how you messed up unless you tell me. So, um... tell me. But here's some problems I expect to be common with you people.
Splash text says: "Missingno"? = Delete the META-INF folder.
All my splash text is showing up at once? = Write them on separate line in the "splashes.txt" file.

So, um... Knock yourself out? Have fun writing lines of text? I don't really know what to say here, so... um... leave.
Wait... I figured out something to put here! Thanks to my supporters, and thanks to my flamers. You're flames continue to give me light! :--+:

    Problem Report for: Easy ModMaker
    Minecraft Version: Beta 1.4_01
    Mod Version: 0.3
    Problem:
What file(s) do I add to a zip archive if I would like to share one of my "modded mobs" as a new mod? Example: If I created a Skeleton with a new skin, twice as much strength, and twice the size and I wanted to release it as a mod called "GiantSkeletonThing" or whatever, what file(s) would I share?
