Why us?: I heard about you guys from my brother, who is an Elder Scrolls fanatic.
Have you voted for us at Planet Minecraft?: Not yet.
Define Role-Playing in your words: Roleplay is about playing the role of a character in another world or place.
Define Meta-gaming in your words: Using information the roleplay character shouldn't know, for example I'm exploring a cave and bandits are attacking the village, but I don't know bandits are attacking IC, where if I'm metagaming I would rush to help.
Define Power-gaming in your words: Using unreal or unfair mechanics in game to traverse through the game faster or control roleplay in an unfair way.

    IC:

Name: Simin Velain (pronounced Simmin, not Simon)
    Nickname: Simin
    Age: 18
    Gender: Male
    Race: Breton
Appearance: Simin's tone is very pale from being indoors most of his life, with light grey-blue eyes. He has a small nose with a tiny scar. He wears hooded white robes with golden trim. His deepest secret is what he keeps under the robes: no one knows what that is. He wields dual Nord Hero Axes and usually uses some ice magic along with one of his mighty axes.
Personality: Simin is a very shy and socially awkward person. He enjoys hearing battle stories from his peers at the bar occasionally, though he never talks about his own experiences.

In-game RP Fight example: I creep through a deep, dark cave, unknowing of the danger that lies deep inside of the darkness. I suddenly feel as if someone is watching me. I turn around to check if anything has been following me. Nothing. I shrug, and stroll deeper into the cave.

I have gone deeper into the cave, wondering if this would be worth the loot, or if I will not return from my journey. I suddenly feel a chill go down my spine. Something is watching me. I start to panic and wonder what kind of creature lives in this cave. I soon received an answer. I turn around. I take no time to examine what I am fighting, and swing at it with mighty axes.

    YEAAARGH!!!

It's a bandit chief! I swing both axes with might and for all I am worth, and yet the battle rages on.

The bandit chief attempts to decapitate me with its axe. I block his attack then do a counter attack whilst he is still vulnerable. He swings his axe and tries to cut off my arm. I feel sharp pain and look at my shoulder. The bandit chief succeeded at making a huge gash in my shoulder, but I will not be deterred by my injury. I look behind me. Another bandit. Great. I ready my axes for an attack that might succeed at killing both of them. I swing my axes out of control at their heads. I hit the bandit chief's arm and leave a gigantic gash, but the other was not so lucky. his head was taken clean off. I turn around just in time to see the bandit leader make a counter attack. I block it, then use Ice Spike. I hit him in the chest, and he staggers as he falls to the ground.

    Victory!
Background: Simin and his brother, Thetric, grew up in Windhelm. Simin's father was a wandering adventurer brought back treasures and vivid stories of his adventures. His mother worked at Candlehearth hall, and provided food and drinks for us whilst our father was gone. When I was 14, Thetric left home to go on adventures of epic proportions, being inspired by his father. I really wanted to go with him, but mother said It was far too dangerous. I soon left my home at Windhelm to join the College of Winterhold. My peers back at Windhelm were wondering how crazy I could get, seeing as most of my friends were Nords who disliked magic. I traveled for many days across the icy tundra and thought about what I would be doing there. Suddenly, a huge fortress looms far above me. I scan the area, and a notably small number of houses still stood. many were collapsed or impossible to live in due to giant gashes or holes in the roof. I wander towards what appears to be Winterhold. I look at my axes, thinking about home and my brother, who forged those axes. I trek on.

When I reach the college, I see a large gate with an elf in front of it.
Simin: Hello. I am here to learn more about magic. May you grant me entry?
Faralda: Yes. But first, you must pass a test.
    Simin: What kind of test?
Faralda: A test of your skill in magic.
Simin: OK. What kind of spell?
Faralda: Show me... if you can cast Wall of Frost.
    Simin:...easy!
A swirling ball of frost suddenly appeared in my hand. I shot it at a nearby wall.
Faralda: You passed! You may now enter the College of Winterhold.
I crept inside with trepidation and immediately went to the library. I started reading many books about the history of Skyrim and started learning more about magic from spell tomes. I spent 4 years doing this and had learned much about frost-based Destruction magic and Enchanting.
One day I received some mail. It was from my brother, Thetric. It said that he would soon be embarking on an adventure to Akavir in search of treasures and a new life, far, far away from the war between the Empire and the Thalmor. I decided to go, because I was now much more skilled at combat and magic. I had never gone on an adventure with Thetric before, so I was also intrigued by the entirely new world.
And so our adventure to Akavir begins.
