got the demo, no clue how to play it.
What ever happened to tutorials?
demo only has the survival mode which is currently testing block hardness which affect how collect stuff.
download the slightly older demo here without the block thickness:http://forum.blockscape.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=3170
This seems interesting, does Jeb/Notch know about this game?
I would like to know their response is.
I'm also afraid minecraft is going to die D:
notch had tweeted about it in the past saying it "looked very cool"
in-fact notch has said in the past that "he encouraged the growth of new indie games and hope that they can turn out to be successful as minecraft was."
I've just noticed that it's been Greenlit on Steam (I'm not sure if it's the real author that put it up though, I assume it is since it has been Greenlit): http://steamcommunit...ls/?id=93066848
I'm wondering if I buy it now, Will I get it for Steam (Assuming it gets put on Steam ) too or would I have to buy it again if I wanted it on Steam?.
Touhoumon are a series of hacked Pokémon games with different premises and storylines involved. The whole franchise started with Touhou Puppet Play which is considered the official Japanese patch of Pokemon FireRed. Since then, several versions have come out with most of the same characters.
the most popular english ones at the moment are:
Touhoumon: Ordinary Version
(Hack of pokemon Silver)
Well, I may be overlooking something, But when I tried the demo, I couldn't figure out how to get resources to build with . I'll probably buy it sometime anyways though, seems to be a nice game.
demo dosnt include the creative mode. only survival mode. the engine isnt optimzed yet since its in early alpha, so you might be the unlucky one and had a bug on your end. i know the survival works because it works for me. also in the demo you cant save worlds. new demo has block hardness in testing.
unnamed FPS. was on the attacking team in a bomb match, and forgot. and sat there for a minute trying to defuse the bomb before i remembered i was on the attacking team.
This is blockscape. an indie game currently in its early alpha stages. what sets it apart from other sandbox games is that it dosnt limit itself in detail and geoemetry. (it also goes on forever in every axis supposedly)
(note that was my first attempt at a structure in that game and at the time i didnt know how to use the tools properly. if you search there are vastly great stuff built)
The lighting is just georgous as well. the game gives you those sutble, little things like the light shining through your windows during the sunrise casting shadows in your house, and other good things.
foilage as you can see also has some good detail to it. compared to other sandbox games.
the only thing holding back its production atm is that only one person is developing for it atm. but still, this game has LOTS of potential. and if it realizes it properly, could very well compete with minecraft if handeld correctly.
Certainly worth a try, the game looks like its trying to be its own thing. plus there is a free demo of it on the blockscape website in you wish to try it.

This is the new house i am currently working on:
(frontal view)
(Rear view)
(interior design- still haven't really started it yet. but i made toggle-able light fixtures!)
And finally, this last one is just a random scene i came across, but i though it was worth screening due to the pretty-ness:

game is in early alpha, so not as much on it yet.
full version has creative atm, and survival.
planned for release is:
electrial circutry (redstone equivilant)
multi-player server gametypes (capture the flag, forts, etc)
more block & ambiance updates. (last ambiance updates gave us fireflys flying around at night time. they look simply amazing)
survival mode in that game will eventally have rpg elements like cooking, farming, trading, enemys, etc
eventually will be relased to multiple OS systems.
