These are suggestions that are mainly for viewing and some may change gameplay.

    Different Enchantment Glow Intensity:

This came up when I was messing with textures, if the enchantment glint would become deeper in color and move faster(not so sure on this one), like when you have a Sharpness 1 sword, it would have a faint but noticable glow, and when it goes up to Sharpness 2 kt becomes deeper in color and move faster and so on.

    Potion of Gliding:

Like the rabbits foot, this would be a rare drop from a chicken called the "Chicken Wing", when brewed with an awkward potion would allow you to fall safely and slowly like a chicken and remove all fall damage, having the same attributes with other potions with redstone and gunpowder.

Clear Indications of when a mob is aggressive towards you(WIP):

With the Zombies their eyes would glow red, Skeletons could have their bones rattling, Spiders randomly place cobwebs, Creepers would normally have a normal mouth, but when angered turn into what it is now.

    Constructive Criticsm is much appreciated.

posted a message on SN0wZ0ne - COMPLETE Hi-Res Texture Pack for ALL Versions of Minecraft WITH TONS of MOD Support!!!
I thought this would crash Minecraft, but I was wrong, with how bad my PC is I never thought I`d be using a 128x resource pack, but I get 60 fps more or less, more than the default resource pack, love it, also downloaded Sn0wS0ng.

This is a decision I will never regret, the second I heard the men music I went from being bored to someone who wanted to take on a wither with a wooden shovel, everything is balanced, from really happy on the surface to a demonic child-like ghast noise blaring in the nether, I give this a 100/10.

posted a message on 1.7 Horrid World Generation
Minecraft isn't a realistic game (never was, never will be), so I don't expect "realism," I expect features that are good for game-play. Good game-play is far more important than realism.

Sure, I get it, Minecraft is a game about very little realism(some mods add godzilla), and game-play is whats the best in a game, and thinking about it, its quite good for desert biomes everywhere, I myself have found at least 8 diamonds in 9 different desert temples.

The 1.7 terrain generation is bad for game-play based on presentable and measurable facts. These facts are outlined in a very objective way on my OP.

Sacrificing good game-play for realism is never good for players.

Yeah, I guess thats why GTA fans hate the newer ones.

In regards to "dissing" people for having a different opinion. I have not. I didn't make this thread to change opinions. I don't care what other people's opinions are. This is the internet, people will cling to their opinions even when they are presented with hard facts that prove the opposite. The only people I have "dissed" are the people who behaved like childish trolls, incapable of having a civil discussion.

The point of this thread is to objectively explain why the 1.7 world generation is bad in terms of game-play, which I have done on my OP. If you want to debate facts, then I will debate facts. I'm not here to argue opinions.

Trolls are what 35% of the internet is, the other 50% percent is (censored, very, very censored) and the last 15% of it are gamers and social sites. 1.7 terrain generation is good and bad, old terrain generation was worse with deserts right beside snowy places, and my experience with FTB: blood and bones that is very bad, which is why we have biomes o' plenty, extrabiomesxl, and TheMastersCavers World mod, you''ll need them.

You don't need to change your graphics card, you need to change your power settings switch it to "High Performance" on windows, but if you're on a Mac I can't help you.

What's so bad about pigman spawning? You will only ever get like 2 pigmen, and with your armor and weapons, one pigman is easy to kill. And you get some free gold and XP. Also, the pigmen spawn IN the portal, not outside it.

    Thats.....pretty........original?

You should read the "How This Effects Exploration" Section on my OP.

How does it affect exploration,? the reason you explore in the first place is to find those biomes not just run around and say you cant find them in a 15kx16k area is wrong and just plain stupid i had to travel over 20k blocks to find an ice spikes biome and even more for a jungle and when i came back to my lovely little wppden hut in the middle of the plains i felt good for finding a two good biomes, not ed because i didn't find more

Realism has very little to do with it. Extensive searching is often pointless and not to mention:

    People's complaints are legitimate.

In regards to your opinion on what biomes should and should not be rare, well that just it. An opinion.

Extensive searching is what most people do, as a challenge to test what their adventuring limits and patience limits, exploring further rewards you(most of the time).

    Please explain why.

    A 15,000 x 16,000 area is very large.

It is in fact large but still in the real world you don't see a jungle, a mesa plateau, an ice plains and a freaking forest together, mojang changed the world generator to be more realistic than what it was before, if you don't like it i can't help but it is your opinion which i can accept, but i won't because of all the others you dissed for having different opinions, in all seriousness i am done here, case is closed everybody's opinion is different, we, well, me know how you feel after playing modded 1.6 i couldn't just go back to 1.7 seeing plains and forest all cluttered in one space with 1.6 having deserts next jungle and ice plains, but i accepted it, even though i didn't like it, and came to love it, my opinion is very different from yours, but its still your opinion.

    i'm done, peace out,

posted a message on 1.7 Horrid World Generation
So, people who hate the 1.7 world generator and people who like it doesn't matter to me considering i started playing minecraft when 1.7 came out and i decided after playing 1.7 a lot i decided to see how the world looked like in old versions and i can tell you, it changed but for the better i found out that it has only been nearly 5 years since minecraft has been out, but if you take into consideration that there were about 15 biomes in the release of beta 1.0 and now there are a ton of them and you expect to find them all in a 15K x 16K area is stupid, some biomes were meant to be rare because they are beautiful/ resource filled places like the ice spikes and the jungle in 1.7 and saying that its wrong to not find jungles everywhere is BS, if you look at the world do you see scorching hot places right next to freezing ice, no. The new world generator is meant to be realistic not easier to find resources, and adventuring for resources is the reason people play minecraft not to stay in one place and just sit there complaining that they can't find resources, i for one never settled in one place i just take all the resources that are important then leave looking for more biomes and honestly in my survival world i've found 4 jungles 2 mesa plateaus and 1 ice spikes biomes and they were spread out with deserts and plains in between them, and honestly chunk loading is very resource intensive, but getting 50 people going in different directions is ridiculous, because adventuring could get you killed on server with a lot of people and most just gather around spawn or under the ground anyway.

That there is my opinion on the 1.7 world generator
