Needs a bit of work, but I support. Also, iron trapdoors don't exist. I think you might be thinking of pressure plates. Iron trapdoors are a good idea though.
They added iron trapdoors in the snapshot.
Full support, but i think it should be more conditional, where the chest needs power to be opened, but won't automatically open into a players screen; that would be annoying.
Honestly, it would be cool if they added some new arthropod mob (i.e. and addition other than spiders). I thought about this because of the fact that Bane of Arthropods is considered one of the most useless enchantments. Smite is actually useful, as you both Zombies and Skeletons are commonly encountered, and to fight the Wither, it is indeed useful. But you rarely see cave spiders and silver fish. If they added maybe more arthropods of sorts, maybe even a spider boss of sorts, that would be really cool.
I think that as a simple change that they should make coal blocks, when lit with fire, burn forever like netherack. This is purely aesthetic, but i don;t really like the texture for netherack, so it would be cool to have something like that.
i think you are looking at minecraft in a way other's don't; a more realistic view. I think minecraft is wonderful, but it's nice to finally see someone who has actually played minecraft, and has reasoning behind why they don;t like it that much. It's people like you who will go on to make game creators make a second "minecraft" if you will. When nine men agree, it is the duty of the tenth man to disagree, for balance sake.
Maybe using the status effect commands, you can have a world where you have the constant hunger effect on you, and food is hard to get. Just a suggestion.
The original axe texture was like a battle axe Less about minecraftish, but if you were to fill up you inventory completely with 64 gold blocks in all the slots, and assuming a block is one meter cubed, the amount of gold present if put in real life would not be able to pay off the US debt.
HALF of the minecraft community is a bunch of little kids that rage when someone kills them with a diamond sword (and they only have dirt in their inventory.)
Please don't sue me...
That's and opinion. A heavily supported opinion, however. You can stack anything up to 64, as long as it is spawned in via the /give commmand.
I think you might need a fortune II book; it needs to override it i think. But an anvil shows your finished product without making you yake it, so check for yourself.*make

It will be there, but it will not explode nor be visible. This is useful for entity replacement commands.

I hope your right, but don;t get your hopes up too much; mojang hinted a lot of stuff that just isn't happening.
A third the aesthetics explanation.
