Is there anything a griefer could do via a hack that could cause server instability and clientside crashing? Our server's having a major problem where the server is very sporadic and people can't get on without being booted off half the time and when someone does get in they are disconnected soon after. If you go within visual range of one particular area on the map it crashes your client instantly and any attempts to return cause the same error. Have loaded the backup on multiple machines and all get the same error.

I'll try to get a copy of the error report, but I can't get the save to work on my end, will have to wait for one of the others to get the error. Not sure that it would help, but I can get a link of the backup if anyone thinks that may lead to a resolution.

Soon as we have it up and running I will send every person since the problems started a PM saying it is back online. Will take forever, but I will do it.

Another easy way to tell is I will change the title of the thread when it happens so you can keep an eye on that as well.

Good news is the backup works so it is the server, not the save. So once the server is fixed we're in business.

I finally got in contact with q220. He has been really busy with work, but is going to try and find a solution.

Hopefully there's a fix soon.

Yes we do have backups, but they're on Q's server currently.

I'm actually getting rather concerned. q220's other server is down so that means he isn't avoiding us, there really is some error with the java, he wouldn't screw that server up since it's his.

He gets the e-mails I send him on his phone so even if he was away he should still get my contacts. He disappeared rather suddenly so lets all hope nothing bad happened.

The stuttering lag in MP is supposedly due to a packetloss problem between the server you are on, the Treyarch servers and Steam. There's no way to fix it, just have to hope for a quick patch.

I'm giving this until Friday. If q220 doesn't have it working by then we will see about getting another server and putting the backups on it.

If you want on the server, continue posting whitelist requests. We will get you whitelisted as soon as the server comes back up. I will notify via the thread and I will also PM everyone. So keep watch.

I'm still looking for a Java expert that may be able to help fix the issue. If anyone is or knows one please get in contact with me.

Everyone will be added once the server is fixed. I will also send a PM to every person who is whitelisted. Will take me a couple hours to get through everyone when the time comes but it must be done.

q220 hasn't responded to my e-mails so unfortunately he may be away. Though since the server is still running he hasn't abandoned us.

Sorry the server isn't working currently, I wan't to play on it as much as you all do. It should be fixed soon.

Sorry guys. Some kind of Java error occured on the server. Rolling back to a backup didn't fix it so Q is contacting Notch.

Server should be back tomorrow. Knock on wood.

Because I gave you another chance before and you blew it quite quickly. So I fully belive that no matter what has transpired between then and now if I let you back on you will probably just get yourself banned again after a day or so.
