So, I'm making a Fallout themed adventure map, and I figured I could use some help. I'm not very good with redstone, although I've managed to figure some stuff out through experimentation. Plus, the more people that're working on it, the faster it gets done, and the faster it can get done, the bigger it can be. I'm not very good with servers either, so if someone could help me or host the server for me, that'd be great. It requires this texture pack: http://www.minecraft...e__hl__ fallout, though I'll be waiting for the author's permission before I actually release the map when it's done. Here are some screenshots of what I've done so far:
It actually seems like a pretty good idea. Maybe the brain could be a maze with all it's crevices and such, and the stomach could be a jumping puzzle with lava for stomach acid.
Very bad idea. It would make zombies way too overpowered, and having to hide from sunlight would be a pain in the butt. What would even be the point? What if you didn't want to be a zombie, but a zombie snuck up behind you or something? If its added, the cure should be easy to obtain.
I've been playing minecraft since alpha, and I've recently gotten a new computer. It ran fine on my old desktop from around 2005-2007, but it gets about 20 FPS or 15 FPS on my new laptop that can run TF2 at very high settings on everything at it's native resolution. Sometimes, it lowers to about 2 FPS, which is really annoying. Even on fast graphics at normal render distance and other graphics options on low it runs poorly. My computer is a Toshiba, Intel Core i5-2410M CPU @ 2.30GHz, 5.9 gigabytes of RAM, Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium Edition Service Pack 1 (build 7601), 64-bit, Intel HD Graphics Family with 1.7 gigabytes of video RAM, with pixel shader version 4.1, and 470.9 gigabytes of free harddrive space. Anyone have advice?
No info, no pictures, not even a description of what it is. Add a description of the map and some pictures and you'll be set to go. Otherwise, people will think its a virus (which it very well might be.)
I've deleted the minecraft folder in roaming in an attempt to reinstall it from the yogbox, but now it won't work at all. As the title suggests, it gets stuck at downloading packages. I've tried deleting the bin folder and minecraft server again and again, but it won't work. It only seems to download the version file in the bin folder. Any solutions?
