Luxumshire is looking for players to populate it's new 1.12.2 modded server that will be opening today at 1PM EST. The server will be modelled after a casual SMP server, think Attack of the B-Team, or Hermitcraft with mods! Our goal here is for everyone to have something to do, and to have fun while doing it! Our community is small and very friendly, and we would be very happy to have you join us!
The server will be doing weekly and monthly events that are decided by the players. The scope of the event will be determined by the playerbase. It could be a month long space race to see who can create the best space station, or a weekly Flans mod skirmish on a custom build! The scope of these events are only limited by our imaginations. We will also have out-of-server events in other games as well.
Our modlist has been custom curated to give everyone something to do from every mod genre. We have a plethora of tech mods, such as Thermal Expansion, Industrial Craft 2 Classic, Project Red, and Refined Storage. We also have many mystical magic mods, such as Bewitchment, Thaumcraft, Embers, and Botania. We also have many dimension adding mods, such as the Twilight Forest and Galacticraft. Point being, there will always be something for our players to do, and there will always be a new mod to grind and sink your time into, all while side by side with others doing the same.

Grynn#1111 How did you hear about The Sanctuary SMP community?: I was browsing the forums here looking for an active SMP with a focus on community, and you guys stood out to me. The video linked in the post too gave me a glimpse into some of the past projects done on previous worlds, and it really impressed me with the scope and detail with some of the projects.
What is your favorite/preferred base/building style?: In terms of bases, I tend to build underground. Kind of lame, I know; but it gives me a lot of freedom to add on and edit how I please, as opposed to a building where I might be restricted based upon the look and feel of the build. To balance this out, I very much enjoy building towns. In my latest singleplayer world I was focused on building a fishing town that had been frozen over, and them having to transition from regular fishing to frozen fishing and ice mining. I enjoy making cute little towns and creating lore for them, so it balances out my building underground base wise.
What aspect of vanilla gameplay draws you towards SMP?: I think my favorite part of Vanilla Minecraft is building. What draws me to the server though is the fact that I can see what other people are building and they can see what I'm building, which helps me improve as a builder. I like feeling apart of a world that's evolving even when I'm not online, and going and seeing other builds as they continue to grow. So it's not really a vanilla aspect that's drawing me to the server per say (since I can just build in a singleplayer world), but more so the multiplayer aspect and community.
Do you have any experience with Minecraft communities?: Back when I was younger I would co-run some modded and vanilla worlds with a friend of mine. It was basically all I did lol. We had a niche friendgroup but we would always create a server to draw more people in and had fun. We would do some modded packs like Feed the Beast or we would make our own custom packs and play with gun mods like Flans and build bases and go to war. I ran my own vanilla server for a few months called Autonomous SMP, and I did some pretty ambitious builds but the server only lasted a few months and I wasn't able to keep it up. I haven't really played multiplayer Minecraft since then, but I'm excited to get back into the multiplayer feel of things!
Outside of Minecraft, what kinds of activities/hobbies do you enjoy?: I usually just play other games, such as Team Fortress 2, Destiny 2, Terraria, ect. I have a job but it's part time so I don't work a whole bunch. I'm taking a break from college at the moment since towards the end of the year I'll be moving to be with my girlfriend. Team Fortress 2 probably takes up the most of my time since I play it competitively, last year I was the fifth best Engineer player in the North American league. So I play often and matches take up a big portion of my time.

Tell us a little about yourself: Well when I'm not working, I mainly spend my entire time on the internet due to the fact that I was homeschooled for my whole life. This isn't a bad thing though, I've used my time to give myself skills and qualities; such as playing eSports for Team Fortress 2, which has gotten me a good amount of side cash in my three years of playing. TF2 has what's taken up a good amount of my time, as well as other shooters such as Destiny 1 & 2, a little bit of CS:GO, stuff like that. In terms of creativity, I love videography and graphic design and do that as a hobby. I almost chose Graphic Design as my major but instead decided to go another route of Psychology in terms of career. 8. Tell us a bit about yourself: Well I'm a no-lifer, spend most of my time on the internet when I'm home atleast. I spend the majority of my time playing competitive Team Fortress 2 at a high level (to the extent where I've made a couple hundred dollars), which is something I've been doing for the past three years or so. My bread and butter because of this is shooter games such as TF2, Destiny 2, getting into a little bit of CS:GO, ect. In terms of minecraft servers I've been on my friends server for 4 years or so that has gone through many different stages ranging from modded to vanilla, and recently the server got closed for good in preparation for Hytale; so I'm looking to put my loyalty elsewhere in terms of minecraft.

Well, I'm 17, I'm from Singapore which is in Asia. I am awesome at redstone althought probably won't be using much of redstone cause mods. I suck at PvP so there won't be an issue of me constantly killing someone... or even killing someone once at all...

Hello! I am Calaveras, owner of CraftiteSMP. We have just started out modded survival multiplayer server, and are reaching out to the public to find people to join us on the server! We're currently a small community of 6, and have no limit to the amount of people we will be accepting to the server! Aslong as you put effort into your application, you will most likely be accepted!
We have a custom modpack with mid to high amount of mods (150 currently) that the server uses so that people from all walks of mods can enjoy their niche on the server! Technology, Magic, Exploration, Enhanced Building, and more! We also have a variety of optimizations mods in the pack, such as BetterFPS and FastCraft to help with those that have some trouble with running mods! Myself and our co-owner, NinjaKap, are also always up for helping a player get modded running or to help it run better! We're always looking to expand and evolve our modpack, whether that means mod additions or removals, so if you're accepted you will have a voice on what mods can get into the server or what mods are removed. Our current modlist is in the spoiler below
Our server runs on 8gb of ram so that we can handle all of the mods, and we have a second hand to help me with anything server-based incase I am offline. We often do events whether it be contests, modded pvp (for fun), space races, and more so that there's always something exciting on the server to keep our players enticed!

Age and Gender: 15 and Male. This does not meet your set requirement of the age of 16 but you did say exceptions could be made and I believe I am mature for my age. Age is a number, maturity is mental.
Top 3 Strengths:
Communication: I play a lot of competitive TF2 and Overwatch which requires flawless team communication in heated fights to come out victorious. I've also been a member of different SMPs for 2 years and have been playing on Minecraft for 5 years, so I can connect to a player and communicate with him on a player level and a professional level.
Not quick to anger: I would rather just talk in a civilized matter then to fight with someone about something. If something is happening to me or others I don't jump the gun and start yelling or screaming, I'd rather just sit and talk about it because I've seen people lose friends over fighting over petty things and I don't want that to happen to anyone.
Moderation Skills: I mentioned I have been on other SMPs for 2 years. Well that was on the same SMP. I was on the same SMP for 2 years before leaving. I watched people, good and bad, come and go; but I learned alot from the owner of the SMP. Watching him taught me the correct ways to moderate and run a server. He's been running servers for 3 years now, and he hasn't quit or stopped because he's good at what he does. Learning from the best I believe will give me a strong suit in moderation.
Top 3 Weaknesses
I can be shy at times: Who isn't shy at times? Usually it's just when meeting new people, but once I get settled in I'm ready to go. I used to be way more shy back when I was a kid, and as I went through the years I got less shy, but I'm still shy when it comes to certain things.
I'm too trusting: I'm just a trusting person. One time on the SMP that I was on, I trusted and defended this guy that lied to me and the owner and I got punished for it. When he told me he lied I was just sad. From then on out I became more skeptical of people, but I still tend to trust people more then I'd call them out for lying (unless it's obviously BS)
I'm emotional: I know everyone gets emotional, but I'm just an emotional guy. When I lose friends who were to close to me I admit I cry, but I'm just emotional like that.

Top 3 Strengths:
Communication: I play a lot of competitive TF2 and Overwatch which requires flawless team communication in heated fights to come out victorious. I've also been a member of different SMPs for 2 years and have been playing on Minecraft for 5 years, so I can connect to a player and communicate with him on a player level and a professional level.
Not quick to anger: I would rather just talk in a civilized matter then to fight with someone about something. If something is happening to me or others I don't jump the gun and start yelling or screaming, I'd rather just sit and talk about it because I've seen people lose friends over fighting over petty things and I don't want that to happen to anyone.
Moderation Skills: I mentioned I have been on other SMPs for 2 years. Well that was on the same SMP. I was on the same SMP for 2 years before leaving. I watched people, good and bad, come and go; but I learned alot from the owner of the SMP. Watching him taught me the correct ways to moderate and run a server. He's been running servers for 3 years now, and he hasn't quit or stopped because he's good at what he does. Learning from the best I believe will give me a strong suit in moderation.
Top 3 Weaknesses
I can be shy at times: Who isn't shy at times? Usually it's just when meeting new people, but once I get settled in I'm ready to go. I used to be way more shy back when I was a kid, and as I went through the years I got less shy, but I'm still shy when it comes to certain things.
I'm too trusting: I'm just a trusting person. One time on the SMP that I was on, I trusted and defended this guy that lied to me and the owner and I got punished for it. When he told me he lied I was just sad. From then on out I became more skeptical of people, but I still tend to trust people more then I'd call them out for lying (unless it's obviously BS)
I'm emotional: I know everyone gets emotional, but I'm just an emotional guy. When I lose friends who were to close to me I admit I cry, but I'm just emotional like that.
