Boyfriend Land is looking to add a few additional players.
Our Realm currently has a core group of 4 players and we are looking to add a 6th core member. My girlfriend plays with us occasionally but is mostly just an extension of myself rather than a core player. Instead of needing to be good at anything specific, to join our realm you will need to be a good culture fit. To give you an idea: we are all aged 20-23, have been friends for several years and live in Southern California.
Realm Features
The realm is entirely vanilla survival, no mods, no cheats, no exploits. Any new comers will not get a first warning, the first violation of any of these will result in removal from the realm.
All rules are unique to the relationships between two players. Assume nothing. For Example: If I want to enter another players home, I first ask and from that point it is okay to enter their home, BUT it is also okay for them to enter my home if an agreement is made (to be entirely safe, don't look through their chests regardless).
Our realm is currently set to 150x150 borders, every time we have at least 5 members on* we expand the borders by 25. This creates:
Forced community
Limited resources
Monopolization of limited resources.
Fair opportunities to explore.
The Realm is roughly 2 weeks old, so in our 150x150 area there is still places to start a home and operations.
Absolutely no pixel art.
*Border expansion can happen a maximum of once per day.

There are a lot of servers out there. What makes you want to join this one? I've got two friends there already, Shizsnok and Brauzeit and they talk up the server like its the best there is. Why wouldn't I want to join?

About Me Ive had my share of servers and I've played on a good variety over the last four to five years. I've been in and out of close tight-knit economy servers, LAN vanilla servers with friends and I spent some time on anarchy servers with friends who have a bit more of a competitive taste. I have yet to be banned, muted or jailed in any server I've participated in. I have built a few jails in my past though. This server structure is very intriguing, I am a relatively nomadic player and I like to be the one to start up a village but in this rare case the description of the server has me more than excited to join and contribute to an already thriving city. There are a lot of servers out there that promise alot of different things. People promise pure vanilla fun yet fly around as admin spawning items as they need them. This is a huge disappointment in all cases. I've tried out 5 servers in the last two days and while I'm okay with /set home features and am excited to see the Town features, Spawning items, especially full enchanted diamond tools and gear, takes from the vanilla hard work satisfaction. I hope to find this experience here where other servers have failed.
