I play Minecraft for the mods and while I appreciate vanilla updates, they are incresingly impairing to the mod community. I like 1.9, but the updates after that are mostly just very forgettable stuff that comes out so rapidly it almost feels like they wanted to slow down the modding community.
I would say most of what Mojang do make Minecraft strictly better, even though I feel like the worldgen has really suffered, but I am not happy with what their updates mean for the modders.

But why would you post this here... And why message him, who's busy enough instead of just dropping it here in the forum, where people can answer or keep the topic alive if people care enough?

Yeah, ignoring warning is always a sign of bad style/design, even if the warnings are menaingless. It really annoys the everlasting warp outta me that my university sometimes gives out code exercises, in which the predefined(you may not alter this) code has warnings.
Though I was really talking about logs that DID NOT EVEN CONTAIN A WARNING. Just people are like "hurr durr my minecraft has crashed. Here's an error log" and it's seriously just random mods announcing their presence.
I fear if we want to fix intense log spamming we need an entire new system for this. Because we would need some centralized system to adjust log spamming for individual mods and that is impossible if our idea of mod structure is just a huge number of mods thrown into a folder without system.

I am lately getting a huge amount of people complaining about endless errors and all they show are regular logs.
Do you people even read?
Though in this case, even though literally every modpack ever throws this every time, it DOES look like an error.

We would coat it, though.

Or it's Sanity Checker logic "I'll make it look crude, so other thaumaturges won't take me seriously", but I guess when you use focal manipulators for the first time it's a bit too early for that.

You do not understand. This is about the loooooore

Fun fact : More than all of Mojang's content beetroot made me feel uneasy.
Because that stuff is really deterring for me.
So RIP Minecraft for me BEETROOT ruined it, Mojang better fix this.
Oh I gotta say something on-topic, too...
The question is, what would 'Zanor want with a little beetroot patch in an endless world of...arcane stone? Testing golems? No...carrots or wheat would be a more logical choice for that purpose... what sinister magic does beetroot hold?

Can't you do that like whenever you want? It'll hardly be slower than 'Zanor reinventing the world yet again.
Also isn't it sad that even the most thorough players might not even ever see them referred to by name?
...nonsense there is this nice mod that displays names of mobs, I just never use it.

The only thing that truly makes me ...wince is the modern use of the word "cringe".
I would not recommend this level of warp to people with arachnophobia.

Hmm... But we know of Thaumium, Silverwood, treated glasses, tallow, brass...
I can't help but feel like rust is not really a theme that could be explained here. After all we would only use inferior materials if better materials are too difficult to get for what we would get out of it.
A focal manipulator of all of our instruments stands under the by far biggest stress from aura flowing through it and it is a fairly vital instrument. I don't see why we would build it out of something so easily corroded...
We have established that Iron is particularly bad at dealing with vis. It has trouble flowing through iron and the high loss of vis indicates that a considerable portion of the vis is getting stuck, uselessly fading or even worse causing damage to the material... this is assuming TC5 world image and probably going way overboard with the thinking, but eh...
There are a few cases in material studies, where one actually wants some level of corrosion, because certain oxides can protect whatever they are coating... however, rust is the single worst material in that category.

We went from like medieval with mostly wood and some iron to steampunk with everything brass. Now we have scrappy zombocalypse?

To me it more looks like Alchemist's fire on a Shock focus.

Umm... why must ranked players have better access? If ranks are premium-only then that is a direct violation, if the advantages are not purely visual.

Even though I play on hardcore I am less worried about the damage from creepers than about how they mess everything up.
