I play Minecraft for the mods and while I appreciate vanilla updates, they are incresingly impairing to the mod community. I like 1.9, but the updates after that are mostly just very forgettable stuff that comes out so rapidly it almost feels like they wanted to slow down the modding community.
I would say most of what Mojang do make Minecraft strictly better, even though I feel like the worldgen has really suffered, but I am not happy with what their updates mean for the modders.

Think before you post, please. I said the pedestral with one node was faster than 6^6 Energized nodes so what you were saying was completely unrelated.

Because most servers are either even more boring(aside from social interaction) of stuff their folders with unnecessary experimental plugins.

This sounds so odd when you read it in Captain kyoraku's voice.

The node has all 6 aspects. Every aspect is displayed with a "6". My Amulet gets charging ticks of 0.05, around twice each second, which adds up to around 0.6 in total.
EDIT: Actually I got the rate wrong, it's 0.2 per aspect per second, which is still nothing, though.

It is much faster, but firstly a regular node isn't really supposed to be faster than an energized one and secondly getting a powerful 6-aspect ordinary node is even harder than getting a 6-aspect energized node.

1.2 of each? How so? I said 0.6 IN TOTAL. Not 1.2 EACH, which is 12 times as much and would actually be a rate I am okay with.

Did you understand what I meant?
If you are using 32bit Java you cannot really increase memory usage.

Tamable passive mobs is actually a cool idea. They could still spawn and despawn, but farms would still work and you would no longer have to kill everything in order to get certain mobs to spawn.
The lousiness for Hostile mobs is annoying me too. There was ONE Update where they buffed zombies, making them smarter and come in bigger groups from bigger distances. Also they broke doors on harder difficulties. Aside from the fact that they kept spawning directly behind me I loved that update.
But they instantly nerfed them back to almost as pathetic as they were before. And incresing difficulty doesn't really do anything aside from raw damage.
I see how some people would whine about frequent attacks from hostile mobs, but those people won't play on hard anyway, so why not just make hostile mobs be a threat in hard mode!?
If "Mojang" won't make harder difficulties make the game more difficult, there's no point in these settings.

Notice xmx cannot be changed to any effect with a 32bit JRE

Isn't the recharge rate from and for the Amulet pretty pathetic?
0.1 vis for each aspect per second which means 0.1-0.6 vis per second! And that from an energized node, and a pretty powerful one at that(6points for each aspect)!
Recharging from an ordinary node, even if it is empty is much faster.
In order to fully charge an amulet you would have to idle around some relay for around FORTY MINUTES. Charging a wand that way is just as slow but also forces you to constantly hold the wand in your hand...
...also there isn't any aesthetically acceptable way to get a CV stream though a wall...
Or am I missing something?

Warp is regarded as a negative Effect. Arcane Infusion tends to give out any negative effects before actually creating something (trying to make everything go to hell before the ritual is finished), so you get warp at the very start of an infusion.

I remember back when they spawned from disturbed nodes.
That was fun. You could just put the node in a glass box and get a free essence farm.

Do Wisps actually spawn naturally? I only ever found them in spawners...

Have you also been wondering what happens when you put a Zombie Brain into a pig and infuse the live pig with perditio?
