I have been since 1.6 came out !
I have been playing terraria which is an awesome little game but gets boring after a while, minecraft doesn't, Thats why I want to play it.

Then its the games problem, calm the hell down and be patient. If you can't go a little week or 2 without Minecraft. Or update your drivers.

Its not me computer because I could run minecraft fine before 1.6 and its also not my internet.

I can't turn my settings down because its not laggy when I walk its lag spikes which can't be stopped even if I put my minecraft to the lowest settings.

PLEASE GET THE FIXED, I CAN'T PLAY UNTIL IT IS FIXED !!!!

I love the new forum, but dislike the new mumbo jumbo. It took me awhile to get into my account, and its going to take time to get used to. The old forum was more.. simple, and this is more fancy.

I think I'll get used to it.

So basically, this is a game idea I came up with out of boredom. There are two castles and two teams. Each castle is similar or the same, and each castle has redstone wiring so that when a redstone torch is placed at the heart of the castle, it will completely explode. The idea of the game is that each side has three+ players. The classes are as follows

Warrior (Can only use a sword)
Builder (Can only place blocks)
Archer (Can only use a bow)
Torchbearer (Can only carry a single redstone torch)

So the idea is that each team is equal on number of players, and the torchbearer goes into the other castle (The torchbearer can ONLY punch, and can't carry any weapons) and blows it up. The other members of each team have the common goal of keeping the torchbearer from getting to the heart of their castle.

Opinion? Is this a good idea for a game? Could set up arenas similar to spleef, and could even use lights instead of TNT...

Also, if this is the wrong spot to post, any mods want to move it for me?

Alright, so this is the very first, very basic arena. It has a minecart system to be set on rotation to take you to each side, and the three basic classes! You can open it in McEdit and get schematics or modify it to fit your needs! I know it's small, but imagine three people, and it'd be pretty exciting! You can also copy a castle, etc.! Have fun and feel free to use it on your server!

The Builder: With cloth (Team colors!) and shears!

The Archer: With bow and arrow in hand!

The Torchbearer: With cake and a single redstone torch, he leads the way!

The Warrior: With full armor, an axe and a sword, he's a force to be reckoned with!

The Pyro: With a full set of leather armor, torches to light the path, and a flint and steel!

I appreciate your efforts, but those video clips is exactly why we don't want the launch effect of the pistons. The effect is silly, over-powered and doesn't fit in the Minecraft game world.

The pistons were created as a mod used by hard-core users like yourself. I don't see a problem if hard-core users decide to mod the game again to re-add the launch effect, but it will not be included in the official version.
