Amplify any negative opinions you have. Whatever it is about the game you dislike in the slightest, let it ruin the game for you. This lets me walk away for weeks on end, until my mercurial nature shifts back into apathy, and I come back and enjoy the parts of the game that are still fine. It really helps keep my playtime in moderation.

Those leaves are very thinly spread out, but it actually looks nice as it gets closer to the trunk, and I hate fancy leaves!

This is probably going to be my last terrain.png update until it's finished, I'll still post screenshots, though!

Yeah, I'm with Steelfeathers on the frames, the dirtiness of the glass itself blends better with the light blue. Also, I really like your logs, they have subtle differences, but maintain the same overall feel.

Saplings, ore blocks, and frog dispensers, oh my!

Well, since you're all lonely, I'll toss some comments your way!

Half the terrain.png in one day. Boo-ya.

I really like the tall, top-heavy mushrooms, but wet farmland just being dry farmland with something on it doesn't really do it for me, I like more visibility as the ground irrigates. Also, I'm not too fond of opaque trap doors, but that's just me.

At this rate, I might be able to make mobs! Also, the bedrock is very WIP. I really want to incorporate that symbol in it, though.

Okay, well I decided to just go with Neoncube's palette like I was going to originally. Definitely outside my comfort zone, but then again that's the point. :P

    Very nice, very Joliesque

posted a message on ARE BATS HERE TO STAY?
    Quote from PsychoIncarnate

Nope they are gone. It was just a one snapshot thing

    Quote from doctorseaweed2

Nope. They added them to the game just to remove them in the next snapshot.

    Quote from ArrogantLobster

Naaah these little things are never going into Minecraft.

    Quote from jpmrocks

They ain't worth it. They don't drop anything useful. They r pointlis an stooped.

Don't let these guys fool you, bats are very likely to be permanent, however they may see some changes before the actual 1.4 release. I've yet to see a feature that's enabled in a snapshot be flat out removed by the launch of the update.

posted a message on I fear everything after 1.2.5 will be a slow spiral into disapointment
    Quote from WillthGreat

No one is making you use these new items and features. If you don't like 'em, don't use 'em!

If I want books now, they stink of dead cow. Obviously don't use the new features, what of the old things that were changed for no reason? What about the literally unplayable buggy nature of both Singleplayer and Multiplayer? I clearly stated that I'm fine with new features that I have no use for, but they are breaching the existing aspects of the game with their changes. That's the part that irks me.

    Quote from Puerhtea

But, yeah, 1.3.1 is buggy. Work in progress.

The snapshots had the excuse of "work in progress," releasing it to the public in this state is just unprofessional.
