What are the best tools for doing so? I prefer something that works fully with the current version of Minecraft and I wish to be able to add dungeons, castles and villages.

    All help appreciated.

AdCraft.co is terrible, and breaks with Firefox in conjunction with Adblock, in effect forcing you to endure the ads. At least with Ad.fly you could ignore the ads, give the creator their money and be on the way. With this site I have to disable Adblock completely or use IE to download mods with no way of protecting myself from malicious adware.

Frankly I am glad its closing.

    Quote from Shialla

I am looking for a map (Not a seed) that has a good flattish surface, with goodly amount of resources to make a home base -- The has a lot of dungeons underground that get deeper and harder. The idea sort of classic dungeon crawl, starting easy and the challenge ramping up (Along with resources and rewards) as I delve deeper.

I don't want to deal with rules or quests, aside from: Don't cheat and don't die.

    Any suggestions?

So no one knows of such a map?

I've been DEAD on internet for almost 1 month. I was traveling, and there was no internet there, so I couldn't do anything since december! D:
    I'm back to work now.

I am not usually one to beg for updates, as I understand creators have real lives. However this is the best set of templates available for Minecraft texture pack design (IMHO) and would love to use these to make a full texture pack soon.

Fine, I'll stop. Whatever floats your boat, end of argument.
I have better things to deal with instead of keeping on with this fight.

Thanks for showing what an amazing jackass you are, I'll be sure NOT to use any mods you have created here or elsewhere.

Do these people even read the few last posts of mine? I said I stopped and said it was okay.

You shouldn't have started to begin with. If you though he "stole" your mod, you could have approached the situation in a more mature and less aggressive fashion and not drawn so much flak -- Rather you chose to be an asshat instead.

    Have a nice day.

The Threaded Optimization has little effect on the performance and may safely be disabled.
It may cause problems with many games, see here, here and here.

Hi, I have a bit of a problem, and unfortunately, there's really no way to get a picture of it. You see, whenever a chunk updates for any reason, it flickers to being invisible and back to normal for a split-second. It's only a minor annoyance, but it gets freaking annoying when lots of chunk updates occur (i.e. ice spreading over an ocean). Without Optifine, this doesn't happen, so I'm guessing it's cause by Optifine. I'm using the multi-core version since my computer is a quad-core. I am using other mods with this (TMI, SPC, other utilities that couldn't mess with Optifine), but I doubt they would affect Optifine, seeing as none of them have effects on chunk updates. If you need any computer specifications, I'll gladly provide them.

Disable "Threaded Optimization" in your graphics card control panel.

I am having a similar issue, my video cards are a pair of Nvidia 580gtx's in SLi configuration. I found threaded optimization in my video card control panel but don't wish to disable it globally (Or have to switch back and forth because I will inevitably forget). I was wondering if you knew, whether it was possible (and if so how) to make a profile for Minecraft (since its Java based) so I can disable threaded optimization just in Minecraft.

If it helps any I am using MagicLoader and OptiFine_1.1_HD_MT_A4 (Both wonderful bits of software)

    Thank you for your time!

Patchwork packs like these are for personal packs. By posting it in public, you are stealing other users' hard work, and redistributing it. Imagine, would you like something like that happening? Obviously not. Don't say you'd be fine with it as long as you got credit, I know that you'd just be trying to disprove me.
As I was saying, these work wonderfully as personal packs, where you like some textures of one pack, and some textures of another, but posting them to be redistributed is often frowned upon by other users, as you call it your texture pack, yet the only work YOU did, was copy and paste.

EDIT: I see lithium allowed your use of Summerfields' textures, but that does not change that this is not your work.

You sir or madam are what is wrong with the minecraft community -- And last I checked not a mod here, so stop trying to play forum police. People like you are honestly the worst part about this forum, angry little nerds trying to be internet tough guys. She merged two packs together, and clearly stated they weren't her works -- She isn't stealing anything, from anyone, whether she had "permission" or not.

I have a dark monitor screen and I used to use a mod that caused all ore blocks to glow, making them easier to spot in the darkness. I cannot seem to find any now that are 1.0 compatible, does anyone know of such a mod that works with the current version of minecraft?

posted a message on [1.9] [Windows] Minecraft AutoMap 0.7.9.2 - Advanced Realtime Map
I am having a slight issue, maybe, with Automap. I can right click and get it to stay on top when windowed, even maximized, but when I try to put it in the corner with full screen on either it gets forced to the back anyway to disconnects. I am saying maybe its a problem because I am uncertain whether or not its possible to have it be on top in full screen to begin with.

    Any ideas?
