    I've deliberately provided little information about it, to keep it something a player discovers rather then something everyone just builds.

    New build has been submitted to Curse, just waiting for the download link to become publicly available.

    Changelog:

    - Crash Fix and added an Error Notification when using the MultiTool on a block that uses the deprecated version of EntityPlayer.getDigSpeed
    - Added a config option to enable world generation in super flat worlds
    - Fixed incompatibility with Apple Core's ASM
    - Fixed an odd interaction between my logs, silk touch, and an unknown mod (was reported on MC Forums)
    - Fixed CraftBench dupe bug
    - Added config that makes shears required to harvest flowers, found under 'tweaks', disabled by default
    - Expanded MobDropTweaks config into its own sub category with individual control over each mob
    - Removed WaterBucket / HarvestCraft-FreshWater to Water Vapor recipes
    - Added 'Staff of the Clouds'
    - Added recipes to pull Water Vapor, and Light/Dense/Storm Clouds form the 'Staff of the Clouds'
    - Generator Improvements. Big thanks to Mezz for helping me speed them up.


    ! Requires newest ShetiPhianCore (1.10.0-3.3.8+ / 1.11.0-3.4.3+)

    It not likely to happen.

    Fruzstrated would need to make several models due to the different format needed.

    Not only does the newer code need to be remade for the 1.7.10 format, but it would also need to be added to all version after it so nothing is lost if someone upgrades but not to 1.11+

    There may even be features in use now that didn't exist in 1.7.10.

    Its working correctly in my development environment.

    By default silk tough has no effect on logs. Must be an addition by another mod.

    Regardless of the cause, I'll just override the method in my log class to fix this.

    The 1.7.10 build was a one off build with no further development, only major bug fixes.

    Its based on the beta builds with a few changes to make saves as forward compatible as possible.

    Someone has been very persistent on getting answers, ones I don't have and tried to avoid :ph34r:


    It has said "coming soon" for 3 years without a single word of progress.

    Kinda true, three years ago was the last release and two years ago was more or less the last bit of progress made on the player component. The world components has been broken up into MultiBeds, MultiStorage, Platforms, and Terraqueous, each becoming more developed then when they were all in one mod. (and easier to maintain)

    It is in limbo, its not dead or abandoned but is very lost and spending time in the dark.


    To understand that a bit of history may be required.

    It was my first solo mod, designed to be used with Verdana's MineLittlePony, created because I felt Unicorns should have magic and Pegasus should be able to fly. The Earth pony strength and Alicorn 'jack of all trades master of none' where late afterthoughts. The problem was I didn't know enough to be able to implement most of the spells, so work on them was slow and frustrating.

    When requests for blocks from the show came in many ideas of other stuff to add shortly followed. Blocks and items where easy to add, allowing me to get many done in less time then a spell. Soon spells and abilities became out of focus, and other blocks and items took up most of the coding time.

    I felt the mod was an unfocused mess, and discontinued it. For its successor I split the parts up into Player and World with the hope that two distant parts would keep things on track.

    At some point Fruzstrated got talking about how he wished for wooden coasters in Minecraft, and the platforms ended up in PixelPowers2|World.

    At this point I realized PixelPowers needs to be stripped down to its roots, and have nothing but spells and abilities. It is the only way to stop it from bloating out of control again.

    MultiBeds, MultiStorage, Platforms, and Terraqueous where born and where expanded on to make them feel more like complete mods then parts what where ripped from another.


    But what happened to PixelPowers2|Player?

    In short I saw Ars Magica (and later Psi) here was this mod that not only did what I was doing but did it better then my planning.

    PixelPowers has no direction, but I'm not calling it dead, thoughts still rattle around in my head, but an ETA is impossible to give.

    [Same thing happened with Change-It when MineTweaker supported mod machine recipes, but in that case I didn't care about Change-It anymore. I coded it for Heph after he was complaining about dumb recipes and wished a coder would make him mod so he could change them, he then refused to use it because there was no GUI.]

    In the past I've had two offers to update it to 1.7.10 both parties here given permission and I never heard from either of them again. Neither even took the source code.


    Recently another person has shown interest in updating, so much so they decompiled the source to take a look.

    I'll be giving them the source code, but nothing may come of it.

    Not because I doubt them, but because once they see the code and realize the decompiled source is easier to understand they may run for the hills :lol:

    1.8.9 Updates

    EnderTanks - Released (almost a month now)

    Terraqueous - 'Done' but stuck waiting (more info bellow)

    MultiBeds - Done, but stuck waiting for Terraqueous to compile for api

    MultiStorage - Not started, there is work on a new standard for accessing inventories.

    Platforms - Starting soon

    PixelPowers 2 - Most work needed, stating after others.


    Terraqueous has a few issues. (none of which stop me from working on the other mods)

    - Critical (Release preventing)

    -- 2 Forge Pulls

    -- Broken Forge Substitution Alias


    - Non-critical:

    -- Forge Issue: Object models have blank particles (only visually annoying)

    -- Forge Issue: Object model Custom Data tag is either non-functional or has no documentation (only affects resource packs replacing doodads)

    -- OpenComputers: RobotColorizer Item: can be placed in anything with an upgrade slot. Waiting on an answer how to restrict it.

    -- EE3 Values may be wrong but its not out for 1.8.9 to test

    -- CloudTalisman and EnderMonocle are no longer models, not sure how to do object armor, if I add it back in it will be a config option.



    Now in other news 1.7.10

    I've been contacted about porting PixelPowers1 to 1.7.10

    I gave permission for an unofficial port, but have not heard anything else.

    If it gets done I'd like to have it posted here, I'll added it to the main post.



    More and more mods are moving to 1.8 even those that said they won't update. Most likely 1.8 will be main by the time I'm done.

    With Buildcraft having alpha's out there is now a pipe* mod for 1.8.9, thus a use for EnderTanks**.

    Other then toying around with 1.8 and MultiBeds not much has happened.

    I've tried fighting those sites before, they provide no way to contact them, often delete my post telling them to remove the mod or change the links.
    Contacting Adf.ly has proven useless every time. It looks like I have no power over my own mods -_-
    They mess up my counters on curse, and why should they make money off my mods when I don't?
    It would be nice if the ForgeAPI installer would block these sites with the computers host file, I've considered creating my own installer to do just that.

    Very big bug found in ShetiPhianCore-v3-beta1, it has been removed from my DropBox and replaced with beta2.

    If you have beta1 update asap, otherwise using PixelPowers and MultiStorage will cause crashes, and MultiStorage will not work correctly.

    Another note:

    Looks like the new Forge replacement system doesn't synchronize between client and server correctly.

    If your on single player your fine but in multi-player you need to disable grass spread

    I don't much care for the 'Rich Editor', not a fan of forced double spacing, but at least I can still edit in markup mode.

    I know I've been MIA for a while.
    Not a lot of spare time
    Small set back, but I now have better backups and source control hosted on the web.
    I've got a list of ideas that will take me forever to get through (pixel powers first though ;) )


    I'm sure the SpellAPI is finished, this finishes the PixelPowersAPI.
    I can start plugging in spells and get the rest of the systems in.


    The size changing is functional but it has render issues I can't seem to fix.
    -_- Rendering is my bane, the main issues I have are:
    - In first person you don't see the other players size
    - In third person other players positions are wrong (but size is correct)
    I've cleaned up and separated the code into a mod, so I can give it out to anyone who wants to take a crack at fixing the issues. :D
