While I agree with points 1 and 3 of your post, lachlanrb, I will like to point out to you, since you are new to the forums, that inside of a week, this thread will probably be on page 20... And I can almost guarantee you that Notch (or his employees) will not read that far back...
Otherwise, be patient and the issue will resolve itself eventually... Especially when Notch right now has bigger fish to fry than trying to fix the front-end of his website.

It shows Search Trends for the past 6 years for the 4 inputs.
Notice how the Green line (PC) is normally above the other three lines, except when End of Year rolls around (Christmas Shopping Season).
Basically, I'm showing you that over 6 years, PCs were searched more in the Video Game category than Wii, Xbox, and PS3.
