5. Best video and/or series? I'm looking to get into minecraft videos as a hobby, but single player feels too boring for me to post. I had a survival series, but I took it down because of the adventure update. I've done some Minecraft Machinimas.

So therefore your rights are invalid, and you cannot force somebody to take down any material posted on any site. If you tried to take down anybody's posts to reddit, YouTube, Tumblr, etc. they can take you to court, and not only will you lose that case, but you will also be in hot water for copyrighting someone elses copyright. So no.Posted in: WIP Mods

Do you have a Mic?: Turtle Beach X12
Do you have a server we can add mods to and use?: I can host one, but I don't know about the technical issues it might have.
Favorite Modpack: Feed the Beast.
Why you think you deserve to be in this LP: I'm very good with logic and remembering things in mod packs.
MC IGN: ChexMixLE
Level of Mod Knowledge (low, medium, high): Low to Medium.
Anything else I should know about you: My mic may only output to Mono channel, and I don't know why. I know a good amount about hosting RaidCall servers (Raidcall is a free alternative to TeamSpeak) and I cannot host a server without Hamachi, as my router does not allow portforwarding.

Shawnmick98, I believe that you went right past my application. :/
Actually, Obsidian and I have been working on the map. I have been taking my time considering people. I've been currently busy trying to get aesthetics ready, rest assured I didn't skip you! I just haven't made up my mind on which people I should pick If I allow the first 4 people that sign up, more eligible people may not have the chance I want to be an honest and fair person when it comes to these things. For instance, I did a MSP giveaway on my YouTube channel a few months back. I gained 23 subscribers from it. I was really happy. When I picked a random winner, and announced it, I lost almost all 23 of those subscribers. That is why I am trying to take my time.

14+ years of age, ✔
Speak fluent english,✔
A mic isn't necessary, but I would like it ✔
Fairly good at building,✔
Actually have BOUGHT minecraft (No pirates!) ✔
I want CREATIVITY & IMAGINATION!✔
Additional Info: i have a server you could use if you wanted to prevent the use of Hamachi. I am good with servers so can install plugins, edit configs etc. I am from the UK and i am 15.
I need to host the server so that way I can release the map when it is finished. But thanks for the offer.
Apr 11, 2013It should mainly be exciting to play, so I am thinking action and/or puzzler? It should also be less than a 1000x1000 area, but if things go south, then it will be resized to what is needed. It will mainly be set in a post-apocalyptic setting, I.E. Abandoned buildings and skyscrapers.Posted in: Maps Discussion
Apr 11, 2013I AM PUTTING THIS PROJECT ON HOLD.Posted in: Maps Discussion
THIS IS BECAUSE I HAVE BEEN UTTERLY BUSY WITH MY LIFE, AND CANNOT RUN THE SERVER OFTEN. I WILL MOST LIKELY RESUME PROGRESS AT THE END OF THIS MONTH.
Hello! My name is Shawn Mick, or as my ingame name suggests, ChexMixLE!
I am currently looking for at least 4 people to help me build an adventure map!

More non-noticeable stuff.

Made the forum look nicer.
Made the forum more organized.
Made major changes.
Added Imagery and A/V Team.
Added Redstone Team.
Created a due date.
Added extra info under requirements.
Made the forum look nicer.
Fixed some of the requirements.
Made some non-noticeable changes.
Did some work with the forum, nothing noticeable.
Started the forum.
Spots Open: 7
Build Team: 3
Redstone Team: 4
GFX and Editing Team: Open to anyone.
(This means you are more likely to be accepted if all of the general, and any of the three categories are met. )
14+ years of age,
(Telling me you're mature doesn't prove it.) (Working on an adventure map sometimes requires concentration! I can't have us be behind, simply because of someone jabbering on about who won the game last week. :/ )
Speak fluent English,
(I'm not expecting a vocabulary larger than mine, or proper grammar, but PLEASE, know the English language, and how to spell most things correct.)
A mic for when I CAN use Skype
(Not required, but more likely to be accepted.) (Running a server, playing Minecraft, Worldedit, and keeping an eye on the forum post is punishment enough for my laptop!)
(This is why 2-4 only.) (Unless you can host a server. I cannot portforward.) (If you need help with Hamachi, some nice people named Chad, Steve and Jawed created a little video sharing site called YouTube! (; )
Actually have BOUGHT Minecraft
Build Team Requirements:
Very eye pleasing and fast at building, following directions, and basic knowledge of WorldEdit.
(When you build similar to other things, it makes maps look more sophisticated and precise than a random dirt house.) (If you can't follow directions, you can't build.) (This is not needed, but I encourage a good knowledge of the main functions of this plugin. It will allow us to release the map earlier if we can place blocks faster ^-^ )
I want CREATIVITY & IMAGINATION!
(Creativity is defined by the ideas you come up with to make something better. This does not exempt you from the building requirements, but it does give some lenience to your building.) (Imagination counts as your ideas for buildings, If you make a nice log cabin, cool, but it's not original in any way. I count imagination as architecture, design, pattern, aesthetics, and most of all, capability.)
NOTE: I do not have a mic at this time. I will be using the IGC or Skype chat to communicate.
Redstone Team Requirements:
Something to note: The redstone team will be in a separate Network than the builders because of Hamachi's cap on people.
Intermediate Knowledge of Redstone,
(Piston doors don't count, but it helps if you can do them! Command Blocks are a encouraged know-how, and will most likely get you accepted! I will test you on your knowledge on the server, far away from the project)
(If you can make something more compact than I can, then you win in this category. If you do it how I might do it, it will still be acceptable.)
(Something to make the map more challenging or interesting is completely welcome in my book. Just ask me first, if you get accepted that is (; )
Command Blocks (Extended)
(Command Blocks will most likely get you accepted into this team, simply for the fact that not many people are experienced with these machines. I will test your knowledge of these, and if accepted, will be put into the secondary redstone team, provided you didn't do the main challenges for it (; )
Imagery and A/V Team Requirements:
(If you know how to use Photoshop, then you can be amazing with what you do.)(These things are really the only things I condone pirating. I don't ENCOURAGE piracy, I just condone it. They are just simply OVERPRICED. $756* in the U.S.!)
Send me an image, logo, background, or anything else you have created,
(Send via a PM. Do NOT post them on the forum.)
Sony Vegas, After Effects, or another PROFESSIONAL editing program,
(Windows Movie Maker, iMovie, iMovie HD, or anything else that is free by default, does not count. I condone pirating these too, simply because After Effects is about $1,000-$1100* USD and I believe Vegas is in the $800-$900* area.)
Show me an edit, a mini movie, animation, or other video you have made,
(Send me a YouTube link in a PM)
If you can, compose a song with a virtual program, a guitar, piano, keyboard, or something awesome! I don't want something like maracas in my music though! I want something along the lines of Requiem for a dream. Good luck doing this though
If you are interested, please leave a reply on which team you are interested in joining! You will know you've been accepted when you receive a message from me TELLING you that you are! Please do not message me, or post a reply asking about your status. Here is a forum post from the pre-edit of this thread:
