I'm pretty sure Kihira wants to update it, but Forge is taking long to update. To be honest actually, I see hardly any devlogs from Forge. I think they're slacking off to be very honest.

    Wrong and rude.

Forge 1.9 - 12.16.0.1865 has been available on Forge's official repository. Forge 1.9 came out a little more than a week ago. Most recent update was a couple days ago.

That isnt really a parts integration though. Thats a full blown new model. Technically I could get it into minecraft as a .obj file though I wouldnt be able to animate it unless its cut up in multiple pieces.

Otherwise it seems quite low poly so performance wise it wouldnt be an issue to add it, though it doesnt really fit minecrafts aesthetics and as a complete new model it would also not be compatible with all the other parts. So I wouldnt consider adding it to the mod.

    Thanks for answering my question.

PS : These aren't .obj blender models. They're Techne compatible.

The models that have been submitted for MPM already have no more than 6-7 shapes to them. Models such as these don't fit into Minecraft's 'blocky theme' and have far too many shapes as well.
They just don't fit with MPM I'm afraid, but they are very nice!

That doesn't really answer my other questions..

Would Noppes allow a fork with full credits given to him, respecting his license?
I'd be very very thankful if a fork was made possible.

This is a technical question to the author of the mod mainly.

    Dear Noppes,

What is your limit on parts for model integration?

I've been working on models that may interest you but I am unsure of whether MPM can handle a part count between 200 and 230 for a full body. I plan to make a large variety of those and your mod offers the best GUI setup for player model customization.

Not having to entirely code my own player-model-customization mod would certainly make my life easier!

    Thank you

Does armor seting should work from inventory(defined slot, or first matching or be defined in script? Also removing armor should be destroying it or unequiping?

Defined slot would be more accurate for Armor setting.
For armor removing, having destroy and unequip as parameter choices would also be great.

Does INVENTORY(Condition) also scan the armor slots? If so, first matching would be redundant.

Also is it possible to have a INTERACT_INV(Trigger) with params -InvID (#) that matches to clicking on an inventory slot with defined ID? I'm not sure if forge has such event handlers although bukkit certainly did.

    Thanks!

    Hi!

    Love what this mod allows.

Could you add the following tasks?

    HUNGER_CONSUME, HUNGER_ADD, HUNGER_SETMAX

    HP_CONSUME, HP_ADD, HP_SETMAX

    XP_CONSUME, XP_ADD

    HELMET_SET, HELMET_REMOVE

    CHEST_SET, CHEST_REMOVE

    PANTS_SET, PANTS_REMOVE

    BOOTS_SET, BOOTS_REMOVE

And a SET operation alongside + and - to HANDLER_COUNT (task)?

    Thanks!

I said sunlight or not below 60Y(or something similar) because those restrictions will prohibit players to build the watermill underground so that most of all players have to build them outside where they belong as you pointed.

Why shouldn't you be able to build a watermill underground?

What if I'm a dwarf and I want to exploit that nifty underground river in the murky underdark?

    Hi,

First congrats for this mod, I just found it and it's epic :D

But I was very sad when I saw I couldn't crawl into little gaps, so I wonder: is there a way to adjust player hitboxes relative to their limbs size, or the animation currently playing? For example, you could crawl under 1-high gaps, and tall characters like orcs would need 3 block high doors. That would be really awesome :)

On a similar note, could there be a config option for server/client to disable certain parts, or disable certain parts per player (so that for example one could be granted wings as a quest reward), and change the min/max scale of body parts? Or maybe simply have the player choose between a selection of scale settings?

The author already voiced that the mod is intended to be purely aesthetic and not meant to influence core gameplay in any shape or form. (No hitbox change, no permission nodes for individual aesthetics except the mob disguise function)

If you want a mod that allows you to have functional crawling with the animation, Smart Moving is the mod you might want to try. Unfortunately it is not compatible with MPM.
    Sorry.

I might look at the numbers again, but the leather from cows should be really high. Its likely just the meat drops that are excessive.

Have you considered implementing some form of rotting mechanic for meat in order to counter the over-abundance?

Preferably with a config that allows adding item ids for other mod's meat items?

I'm finding incompatibilities between MPM and the Gender Mod

Both mods change the player model directly. They simply can't work together as far as I'm aware.

    MPM already has breasts included.

Hitboxes has been suggested before and last I recall, was a no-no according to the author.

Interesting mod. Is it possible we could see an optional feature for non-solid leaves blocks added in the future?

Not everyone has access to 3D editing software, or knows how to use it. Most of those programs are too expensive, too complicated, or both.

The parts I touched on shouldn't be that hard to make (most of them not requiring animations) and power cords could be made by modding existing parts.

Those with machine/robot based personas should not be left out, we are part of the same communities as everyone else!!

Actually there are a few 3D editing programs out there specifically made for minecraft models. Check out the Tools section in the forums, they're hard to miss and far easier to use/simple than paid ones. Techne seems to be the go-to as of late.

Seems what's far more complicated is actually importing and animating those models, which thankfully here the author offers to do (eventually) as long as the model is provided (done properly, incluing a texture map and without z-fighting or unreasonable amounts of faces)

Give it a try, it's actually not that hard as far as making and texturing a model goes!
