Time golds the memories, that's why when generation is changing "My opinion of the alphas, is that they are the worst bunch we've had over the past almost 4 years, and Viper agrees with me on that." is typical reaction to it. But maybe it is worst bunch? I sure know for fact that past 4 years Alphas was not charge of everything on the server, we had Admins before. I don't even get paid or any reward wasting my time with "worst bunch" but then again this group is something I love and something where I belong, until I'm fired for my duties, because I'm more beautiful than other ugly staff-members.

But I know... there's always something to nag about. Truth to be told, Convicted will not be the same place than past 4 years. Nothing can last forever because people move on. "Minecraft" is not the thing for everyone. 4 years is long time to play with pixel legos in same server.

Well, like it or not, Convicted will open as it is what Viper wants and Staff have done work for it... Sadly I know that some staff-members thinks that everything will be handed them as golden plate when others are actually trying and working and co-operate with others. We, as everyone else, have a clock. This clock says "Do this, do that, go there, go here and now it's time to sleep". But humanity is what it is. People are different, some people will always do so much more than the others. Some people are too busy with other things. Some people just don't care. Some people are just WAITING THE ****ING SERVER TO BE OPEN, RAAAAAAAAARH, MY SUMMER IS RUINED. THERE IS GOD DAM YELLOW BALL IN SKY OUTSIDE AND I DON'T WANT TO GO THERE. Wait... what? (:

Alphas, the RPG Rank in Convicted, known as "worst bunch" what by some reason became "Project Leaders", are now pushing the last things together. Our Dev-team is working for our plugins and also making everything ready to server that it can be hosted again. You people know well our Wardens, as you know... SDAngel is working for us and builder is around too. I think you don't take this as "Suprice" don't you...?

Anyway, there were questions about helping the server. If someone wants to share their time to help us, just contact any Wardens and tell your interest. Yes, Warden(s). You can contact SDAngel or Builder. There are more than one! We do already have small team outside of "Staff" helping us building the server. All major builds are already done, but there is always some essentials what can be done for the server sooner or later. None of these actually speeds or slows down the schedule for opening the server, because right now it's more in developing progress and discussions how we want people to play Convicted. What are the rules, what are the possibilities, what are the limits etc etc. you guys know the drill. After that and with few magic words, server is once again open.

Hello players,

Yesterday I opened new parkour: GlassParkour. It was first tested with Guards and now available for Frees too. Prize for doing this parkour is 1 golden apple. (Not god apple!). Parkour is not so long or hard, but it has tricky parts for everyone.

If you have any feedbacks about this parkour, please tell me or any available Warden. This would be usefull for developing future events and parkours to you guys so your every-day gaming experience can have more fun, intrest and challenging parts day to day.

You never know how many times server will close or open during next 10 years.

Also reminding people that 7 months ago, most of the Convicted players quit, were gone or was highly inactive. Remaining players (There was not so many left) were pushing in game and in these forums that Convicted needs to shut down and it would be "good for Convicted". Many things were pushing community down. It can happen again. Not so long time ago, "legendary Don't drop the soap" Prison server came back. Ddts community were thrilled about it and expectations were high. Still after few months from opening, community was lacking interest for the genre and soon enough server shut down once again. Most people were saying that they cared to see old friends more than actually playing the game.

I'm sure happy with others that server will launch soon, but I'm not sure what people are expecting from Convicted V2. If peoples motive is just to see "old friends in old server" then this will be like any other game. You play it first for a while, but then it becomes boring and you start another new game. That's why we need refresh ideas because simple "Prison server theme" is not enough anymore. So if anyone have anything in mind what kind of convicted you guys are expecting to play, please tell us because timing would not be better.

Here is few examples, ask yourself: if I would be 100% charge of Convicted V2, would I like to have?

Parkours? Stars? Chaos? Event Wars? Other events? Enchants? Potions? Drugs? Shop signs outside of Players Market? Black Market? Omega? Donor? What kind of mines? Balanced PvP or "Same as before?" Free world? More Guards? Less Guards?

These questons could continue forever. So if anyone have time and mind to tell us your expectations about future gaming experience in Prison themed server known as Convicted, please do it now.

Donor block: I get it that it could be monthly, but at the current prices, I would go to killion (jk). But for real, I think there should be a main donor area with some quests, and better mines that is permanent, for around $40. But you can still buy a better donor on top of the other one that gives you access to the best, most luxurious mines and mob farms along with exclusive quests and perks nobody else can get (possibly even shops or items just for them), and that bonus donor block is for just the people paying monthly for similar prices to the current donor system. It could also grant access to the title next to your name, while regular donors only get the colored name.

I think the colored names should be permanent but donor block being permanent would have a big cash flow at the start but then once everyone had donated how would they get their money? Also making donor mines as good as you are saying would break the economy donor isnt supposed to be for frees to get hella cash its for c,b,a's and maybe elites to have a better mine than what they have in lower blocks. Donor mines are decent for the economy right now but should never go back to being as op as they were. Also I agree its a little over priced and they should lower it a significant amount which would be a constant flow of money even though it might not be as much. Honestly I'm fine with the current prices because I have a job and $35 every 90 days is nothing and I think is honestly worth it for ANVILS ANVILS ANVILS ANVILS ANVILS ANVILS ANVILS ADD ANVILS if we have to pay this much. But ya I get what you're saying and not everyone can afford $35 every 90 days. But Its harder to make decisions about donor than we think they have to think long term and not just shortterm! Cut them some slack knowing the great staff we have they will sort it out and give us the best alternative it just takes some time.

I understand that we're still within the first week of the reopening, however, I must say that I've found the server to be disappointing. I understand the lag is inevitable on the first couple of days, but there have been cases where average server ping is over 1,400,000 (Screenshot below).I feel that the lag is extreme and that it seriously needs to be fixed ASAP. The second issue I have is that Donor has become extremely overpriced, and I'm saying this as someone who has given $150 to the old Convicted as donations from myself and others. I understand that the server needs money to survive, however, I find it absurd that the price has gone from $40 lifetime to $35 every three months for the same perks. It needs to be remembered that the vast majority of the players are teenagers without jobs, many of which cannot legally work at their age, and that the monthly payments will keep several players from donating. I believe that it would be more reasonable to have additional sethomes and sign colors available at a set price for all sethomes and colors, and have it last forever at a cost of $15 for the sethomes and $10 for the colors. I also think that the Donor Block, name color and tag perks should be exclusively placed into one bundle and sold for $10 for three months, coming out to $40 each year, meaning that the server will be able to collect new income quarterly and have the new model become profitable over the old model in a year, helping deter a cash-grab scheme, which it honestly feels the server has devolved into at this point. At the very least, if Donor will remain so extremely overpriced, the quality of the hosting needs to improve tremendously.

The server is down, and there's nothing we can do about it but wait for hexa to put it back up.

Look on the bright side, the guard plugin was sent to hex by George, so hopefully hexa uploads that before he restarts.

Hexa's waffle iron is having a really hard time keeping up with the 20 people online right now. Can't wait to see what it's like with 60....
