    posted a message on OptiFine HD (FPS Boost, Dynamic Lights, Shaders and much more)
    This is for the Linux JAVA for Linux Mint 19.

    Just upgraded to 19, today, from 18.3 to 19.

    I found that the new Linux launcher for MC has come out. I DL'd it,
    ran the version needed for my copy Optifine to set up and run. I go to
    run it and it closes out the launcher, normally, and nothing happens.
    However, MC runs fine, normally.

    I think this could be related to the Java run-time, but am looking for a solid determination. It would be greatly appreciated.

    Current java runtime packages are (brought in via the LM19 upgrade build - a.k.a. not my fault):

    - Openjdk-11-jre

    - Openjdk-11-jre-headless

    - Openjdk-8-jre

    - Openjdk-8-jre-headless

    Thank you.

    posted a message on Overviewer: Nether render (simple)
    Hello, all.

    I administrate a household server and utilize Overviewer to provide maps. Performing a basic render is quite simple.

    Now, I am tasked with providing renders of both the Nether and The End.

    In my research, I learned that a configuration file must be used. There are no simple and straight-forward guides, anywhere, that I can locate, easily. The documentation provided appears strictly from a developer's standpoint with no consideration for the end user. Or, at least, a weak attempt at making documentation user friendly.

    I would deeply appreciate a look-over of the below and correct me on my mistakes. Thank you so very much! :D

    Configuration file contents (between the --- lines - italicized text are the variable text value equivelants):

    --------------------------------------------

    worlds["world title"] = "world path"

    renders["survivalnether"] = {
    "world": "world title",
    "title": "Nether Render of My World",
    }

    outputdir = "world path"

    --------------------------------------------

    Command line enty that fails...

    overviewer.py --config=filename.py (Renders normally, not nether although it is specified in the file)

    There isn't a renders types listing that I can find. I'm only looking for the Nether and End values to place. The file values I have listed may be all wrong, to begin with. Though, like I said, I deeply appreciate assistance, please correct me.

    Thank you! :D

    posted a message on Server UI Not Populating All Text - 1.7.2
    Here is what my server UI is displaying... pretty much empty. I would like it to display properly. The server appears to operate normally, but the UI is lacking in information display.

    Thank you.
