Had a nice magical forest I was camped near.
I'm not even sure what the Afrit was attacking with the stray shot, might have been a Reiver, but it started this.
And burned down everything but the asbestos filled greatwood and silverwood trees (haven't updated to the latest Thaumcraft, as some of my other mods don't play nice with forge 1224) All those red/orange starburst looking things are trees on fire with scorchfire. Had to scramble quick a couple times to prevent it from burning down that building at the bottom left, which is where I'm staying in.

This update is definitely not stable, there are some problems:
1. In the beginning of the video you can see there are two "Lycanites Mountain Mobs", I assume the other one is supposed to be "Lycanites Shadow Mobs".
2. Normal difficulty + Enchanted Full Diamond Armors + Night Vision Potion + Grue = Bad ending
That bug was always there. It isn't because of the mod. If you combine night vision with blindness, you can't see at all. This would happen WITHOUT the mod also.

I'm always targeting survival players the most with this mod, the Events are added to make survival more interesting late game and extra scary early game, my goal is to bring back that "survive your first night" feeling that new Minecraft players have. I've recently been developing with a few mod packs in mind, my own which is a fairly balanced pack that stays away from any mods that add powerful things and is designed to run well on servers, the Madpack 2 which adds a lot of powerful mods to the game and is aimed at hardcore players where they can get pretty powerful really fast but things always stay challenging and finally Blood N Bones, the extreme hard core survival pack.
All spawn rates, mob events, etc can be changed via the config and the bug that resets the config has been fixed now too. For players who want a relaxed survival experience, Easy Difficulty makes things a lot easier now too and it can be further changed via the config as well.
The Grue has a wide range of abilities:
- Life Draining (50% of the damage dealt heals the Grue)
- Shadow Stealth (Invisible in 0 light level)
- Shadowstep (Will randomly teleport behind the target)
- Attacks Apply Blindness
Ooooohhhh, can't wait for the phantom! :DDDDDD

Update: It is pitch black. - Version 188.8.131.52 for Minecraft 1.7.10IMPORTANT: Configs older than 184.108.40.206 will be reset to default, be sure to backup or manually increase your config's version in lycanitesmobs-general.cfg, though the default config changes are important for the new water mob spawner.
Shadow Mobs Introduced With: Grue
New Spawn Type: Shadow, Triggered when light becomes dark suddenly.
Bug Fix: Config shouldn't reset itself every time anymore.
Bug Fix: Conba now drop Cocoa Beans and not Ink Sacks.
Bug Fix: Mob Event Graphics shouldn't stick when changing dimension during an event anymore.
Ooohhhh, I'm sorry but this is 2 spooky 4 me ;_;

Based on the model, this mob BY FAR needs the Fear ability that I suggested a long time ago. In case you forgot, I suggested that the more closer you are to the mob with the fear ability, the faster your heartbeat goes. (Which you can hear.) At a certain point, if you're starting to get TOO close to the mob, you'll start getting debuffs. The closer you are to the mob, the badder the debuffs get, causing paralysis and nausea, even causing the wither and poison effect. (there are a lot more debuffs, I'm just naming a few.) Kinda like what you see in horror games
1. They should still pick them up but don;t properly run to them this is to make them not too annoying.
2. Hmm I'll take a look, Belphs are included I just forgot to add them to the event on the website lol!
3. Oops I fix this!
Am gonna be adding a damage cap soon, I need to fix the min damage thing too.
