Modders are the worst: they create things that become mandatory to play Minecraft, distribute them for free and then take their time to update them when a new version of MC comes out (if they ever update them at all)!
Naaah, just kidding. Thank you modders; you make a truly awesome game legendary!
Sad part is, I could believe you were serious. You'd be surprised the people we run into =P
I got death threats.. death.. threats... for removing minor features or changing stat values on stuff. Its absolutely insane.

Long live Metallurgy 4!
This thread will now be locked, redirect all queries and such to the M4 thread.

M3 is "done", M4 is the next iteration under development by Glassmaker.

I love what's been done so far, keep up the good work! =D

A 3 month old beta at that, so expect lots of trouble.

Regardless, I'd like to take this time to announce that Glassmaker (of ExtraTIC fame) will be taking over development of Metallurgy. I'll be moving on to other projects that I'll be discussing more of in the future.
He can be found on Twitter @JeanGlassmaker, he'll be making a new post as of 1.7 for Metallurgy.

For the moment things are going to be quiet, trying to figure everything out lol

There's an M3 for 1.7 in the works I believe, but after that the future is unclear at the moment.

Except he's right, no support for beta versions here. I don't know where he got a beta version for 1.7 at.
And he's right on the second count, use spoiler tags in the future.

Jenkins releases are not meant to be public releases. There will be an actual beta release when the time comes.

Not sure, Lc has been doing a lot of bug fixing.

Update.

Orbs store exp, you hold click to deposit it slowly with a loss, and then can release it. Pylons are bookshelf replacements that are worth more "enchanting points".
None of those three features were supposed to go live yet =/

I'm unsure at the moment if the Mint is even staying in M4. We'll see, but it wouldn't be hard for such a config.
