    I'm sure this question gets asked a lot, but i'm about to ask it again so sorry =p

    Does Kaizo caverns or SoF II work in the latest MC updates? I know the updated world height messed up a whole lot of things, but I'd like to give one of these two a try if they are still playable.

    that's how I died in C....so many blazes, I should never have hid in that box it only made it worse, it was too close to the spawner and they just kept spawing. I tried to make a run for it, but didn't even make it out of the box

    So I don't know if this is a glitch related to Lethmyr or just minecraft in general but either way it makes for a funny story. I nearly starved to death on Lethmyr. Why you ask? Two words: Undying Pigs.

    Because of rain I was only safe at sea, so I a made a boat and set sail in an attempt to find trees. When I realized how low my hunger bar was I jumped out and started trying to kill some pigs near the shoreline with my wooden sword, but to my dismay the pigs seemed uneffected. I struck the same pig repeatedly with the mightiest blows I could muster, but alas the pig lasted longer than my sword! Now exhausted and feeling the effects of starvation I struck down a nearby chicken and feasted upon its raw flesh. Thankfully the chickens of this land do not seem to be strange spectres like the pigs. I can still hear them mocking me: "oink oink" quoth the undying pigs.

    Yeah just had my Cat teleport to me on my SMP server even though I had him sitting at home. This is going to become a huge problem if the cats we try to breed start doing this. By problem I mean they will all end up dead and we will have no cats =(

    I hope this is just a glitch and will be fixed, otherwise what the hell is the point of the sit feature?

    I'd think that it would probably work to get a fixed version of the map and then figure out which folders in the save file to copy in order to preserve what I've already done, but figuring that stuff out will likely be difficult…


    Is there anything that could have been affected? Ladders still hold up water & lava and I didn't think there would be another way to use them. Mind you I am actaully asking, not saying you are wrong.

    I have never once be able to deflect an arrow form a skeleton, be it in single palyer or SMP. Are you sure on this? As far as I can tell blocking negates half of the damage you take, including fall damage (which can be very useful).

    edit: unless I am reading your message wrong, and you only mean it delfects ghast attacks.

    Hey Vechs, I know your busy already with a bazillion different projects, but I came up with two suggestions for new types of super hostile maps when I was driving home from school today, so here ya go :rolleyes: :

    Super Hostile "mini": I seem to remember you saying the reason race for wool maps only go up to 3 wool because it is difficult to get a multiplayer game together and you wanted it to be completable in one sitting. Well what about doing this for "regular" super hostile maps. They could be speciffically designed for a group of around 4 players, and are therefore balanced to be harder around that fact. But the VM is much smaller (and therefore the enitre map) which would allow the map to be completed much quicker than "regular" super hostile maps.

    Okay so no working title for this one, but it branches of the last idea. Designed for SMP but could be a full sized SH map. This could actually just be a set of optional rules. Altough a map designed speciifically with this in mind would be able to be balanced around the idea. My basic idea would be to make a SH map class based, probably for 2 to 4 players ideally, maybe up to 6. These "classes" would be limited in what gear they could carry and maybe even what blocks they could place. I realize this wouldn't interest everyone, but thought I would throw the idea out there anyway.

    This was happening to me to, I believe it was "steve" spawners. When I logged in near the area it usually took about 10 seconds to crash, which was plenty of time to get far enough away that it wouldn't crash. You should try that if you can.

    Started Sea of Flame II with a friend:

    Dungeon 1: After trying to do it the methodical way for about an hour, raging the entire time over laggy SMP combat (it is seriosuly terrible) and the dungeon itself, we finally just made a mad dash for the wool box. I think this is one of the most rage enducing dungeons I've done in a SH map, and its number 1 of this map. WTF.

    On a related note, how broken if at all is Sea of Flame II by 1.0? We will play it anyway but we would just like to know.
