You can check the change log here. The installers were created with . WorldPainter is free and open source software, released under the GNU Public License (GPL) version 3. The source code is hosted on GitHub.
It should be pretty self-explanatory, and the rest you should be easily able to find out by clicking around. Don't forget to try all your mouse buttons, and try holding them down! Post in this thread to get support from me or other users of WorldPainter.
The Load and Save functions save the map in WorldPainter format. The Export function exports the map to a Minecraft world. By default it is exported right to your Minecraft saves directory. You can then open the world in Minecraft under Singleplayer.
The Import and Merge functions allow you to import the landscape from an existing map, and then merge any changes you make to the landscape back to the existing map. It is not meant for general purpose map editing! WorldPainter is, and always will be, a map generator, not a map editor. Note that this functionality is dangerous! Use it at your own risk. Please see this post for important information about how these functions work, and their limitations.
This tool is not meant to create ready to run single player maps, it's meant to create server levels and adventure maps. The idea is to create the basic landscape, with your mountain ranges, oceans, forests, snow and ice, lakes, hills, etc. using the tool, and then go in and fill in the details with other tools.

And replace your old ram, yup.

So I say just quit being jerks about it and let each other make the mod. You can not claim the rights to Frozen. That means anyone can make there own Frozen mod as long as they don't copy your code. And another mod with a mob named Elsa isn't copying your code, just so you know.

So you're basically saying never build anything big..? I disagree completely. If there are constant updates to minecraft, and you want to use only the latest and greatest stuff, you will never accomplish anything. If everyone in minecraft did that, there would be no "Wow!" or "That's amazing!". Everyone would build small, something new come out, build small, something new. An endless cycle of bad and boring nothingness.
So I say go for it! That sounds like it'll be awesome! Command blocks can be really fun to work with. Don't let others tell you it won't work, or will never happen. And hey, building something without the super crazy new stuff shows you don't need that stuff. Don't be pulled in to the deep dark swirly vortex of dream crushers!
P.S. Hm, just noticed CeruleanNutter's picture thing looks kinda like a vortex. Deep dark swirly vortex of dream crushers example #1 xD

Umm, a helicopter doesn't "have to look" like one specific helicopter. There are many ways to make a helicopter look like a helicopter, but this has no resemblance what-so-ever. I personally thought it was kinda funny.

I really hope this gets into vanilla minecraft! Good job on making this mod, too!

A couple suggestions:
Pelicans: They will circle around groups of small fish and swoop down and catch some fish, and if you can tame one it can go fishing for you, but have a chance that it won't give you the fish, or just give you half of it.
Ducks: They spawn in ponds and lakes and will mostly float on the water and wait for small fish to come near them, then catch it. When attacked by either a big fish or the player it will jump out of the water and fly to a safer place.
Crabs: Similar to lobsters, just do more damage and can stay on land for a while.
So far, that's all I can think of. But if I have any more ideas, I'll tell you!

The dog type mounts are called "Wargs", and the big walking trees are called "Ents".
Anyway, I have never seen any LOTR mod like this! This one is much more different than all the others I've seen and looks like it will actually be finished! I will definitely be getting this when it's released! Great job!
