posted a message on Minecraft Disney's Frozen Mod (Abandoned)
Um guys... First of all, none of you can claim any rights to this idea. Frozen is from Disney. So if any ideas were stolen it was stolen from Disney. And what progress is there to even say which is better? Neither of yours is any different at the moment. And both of you are going for the exact same thing: add all the stuff from Frozen.

So I say just quit being jerks about it and let each other make the mod. You can not claim the rights to Frozen. That means anyone can make there own Frozen mod as long as they don't copy your code. And another mod with a mob named Elsa isn't copying your code, just so you know.

posted a message on [1.8/14w18b][WIP] - Recreating Redstone Computers With New Mechanics
    Quote from CeruleanNutter

Hate to be a downer, but as soon as you make any progress, the next snapshot/ update will come with new features that you could've used before, so you'll probably just end up redesigning this over and over because of the constantly evolving nature of the new mechanics in the game.

This happened to me a while back and half of the map I was working on was filled with obsolete redstone and the other half was filled with brand new stuff that wasn't there when we started the project. It sucks.

So you're basically saying never build anything big..? I disagree completely. If there are constant updates to minecraft, and you want to use only the latest and greatest stuff, you will never accomplish anything. If everyone in minecraft did that, there would be no "Wow!" or "That's amazing!". Everyone would build small, something new come out, build small, something new. An endless cycle of bad and boring nothingness.

So I say go for it! That sounds like it'll be awesome! Command blocks can be really fun to work with. Don't let others tell you it won't work, or will never happen. And hey, building something without the super crazy new stuff shows you don't need that stuff. Don't be pulled in to the deep dark swirly vortex of dream crushers!

P.S. Hm, just noticed CeruleanNutter's picture thing looks kinda like a vortex. Deep dark swirly vortex of dream crushers example #1 xD

Yea . Really funny . Somebody having not your interpretation of how a helicopter "has to look"
or at least isnt able to draw it in that way . Really funny . Had to laugh really hard at that one . Not.

Umm, a helicopter doesn't "have to look" like one specific helicopter. There are many ways to make a helicopter look like a helicopter, but this has no resemblance what-so-ever. I personally thought it was kinda funny.

posted a message on Cubic Chunks: Reduced lag, infinite height, and more [The #1 Suggestion Thread of all time!][Updated! 6/14]
I've never really been happy with the way Mojang handled the terrain generation, and especially the height. Building something really big has ALWAYS been stopped by the super low height. So I think this is a great idea that should definitely be added to vanilla minecraft.

I really hope this gets into vanilla minecraft! Good job on making this mod, too! :D

Looks pretty good. But I don't think it is all that similar to the Star Trek dreadnought. That one is basically an over sized Enterprise. And your ship looks nothing like the Enterprise, other than it being disc-like. But aside from that, it's not bad. Good job :D

posted a message on [WIP](1.7.10Forge)Fantastic Fish *Alpha V1.4 Avalable!* now with Sharks!*
Now this is a mod I'm looking forward to! I've always found minecraft oceans, lakes, and rivers WAY too boring. The models look amazing, didn't think it was possible to make a fish look so good!

    A couple suggestions:
Pelicans: They will circle around groups of small fish and swoop down and catch some fish, and if you can tame one it can go fishing for you, but have a chance that it won't give you the fish, or just give you half of it. :P Although this isn't a fish, it would just be kinda funny to have the ocean so populated, then look up at the sky and see nothing. So I think it would be pretty cool to have just a few creatures that help with the ocean feel of the mod.

Ducks: They spawn in ponds and lakes and will mostly float on the water and wait for small fish to come near them, then catch it. When attacked by either a big fish or the player it will jump out of the water and fly to a safer place.

Crabs: Similar to lobsters, just do more damage and can stay on land for a while.

So far, that's all I can think of. But if I have any more ideas, I'll tell you!

-Adding those Dog Type mounts with orcs on top, that would spawn in plains, in groups.
-Adding Those big walking trees that you could mount if you are good or gain their trust by....

The dog type mounts are called "Wargs", and the big walking trees are called "Ents".

Anyway, I have never seen any LOTR mod like this! This one is much more different than all the others I've seen and looks like it will actually be finished! I will definitely be getting this when it's released! Great job!
