theres the whole crafting thing for me, but for some reason when i wake up from a bed the moon is still up. It takes about another whole minute for the night to finish. Is this an actual feature, or just a bug? also my melons aren't growing.
Superllama, I have a suggestion for a rune:
Basically it would be kinda like a Chrono Trigger for weather (Maybe with 3 choices of "No Rain," "Rain," and "Thunderstorm").

Ok well whenever i load a new texture, the bottom parts of the bed are completely missing. I don't know if it is the patcher or the game itself because whenever i use the original texture it works. HELP ME!
Hey Guys! I Just wanted to let the minecraft forum know about my new let's play! Episode one is up! (there is a watermark though...) So here's a link to the first vid.
Basically im just gonna list current mods that notch should add to the vanilla:
1) the planes mod. I don't see how it's a major game changer, as you need a ton load of crap to make one.
2) Millenaire. Who doesn't want NPCs making a village, then either burning it down or helping construct it?
3) Somnia. The beds right now are kinda lame since creepers can blow you up if the bed is next to a one block wall
Now some things that i just feel like adding, Not a mod(that i know of):
1) More vehicles. I know that includes the planes mod, but cars, trucks, tanks, 2 seater boats (cruise ships?) and submarines would be pretty cool too.
2) A vanilla form of bukkit. I just don't like setting up a bukkit server (mainly too lazy)
3)A mod folder in the minecraft client/folder. I don't like opening a minecraft.jar, putting mods individually in, deleting the meta-inf, compressing it again, then open minecraft, only to get a black screen
Yea I guess it would only be for towns near water.
EVERYONE HAVING PROBLEMS:
make sure you have deleted META-INF in your minecraft.jar
make sure you have installed modloader
make sure you copied the millenaire folder into .minecraft NOT just its contents
i did all of that, and it still doesnt work. I deleted the meta-Inf, installed mod loader, and put the millenaire folder in the .minecraft folder.
I installed it right, why is it giving me the blackscreen?
1 delete your bin file and rerun minecraft (this will clean your file)
2exit minecraft and delete metainf
3download modloader and turbo model thingy
4download all planes v6 files EXCEPT items file and gui file.
5rename the file item in YOUR jar file to item2 then copy the planes v6 item file into your jar
6open the gui files in both your jar and the planes v6 copy the CONTENTS of the planes gui into the open jar gui file
run minecraft! : ) hope this helped!

ok i made this server so i can play with me and my friend, ive gone on it a whole bunch of times but now i cant. Why is that? it says Response code:503 for URL: http://www.minecraft.net/game/joinserve ... wKilla1111 . Why the heck is that?

Well the only other mod i have is better grass and better light, so i dont think that they will conflict
