OOC: Out of CharacterIGN: Swag136Sources: I was searching in the Servers forum and found this thread. Why do you want to join: I've always wanted to try out role playing, as it seems really cool. This server looks well-established and good enough to be a good place to start.IC (In Character)Name: TayIC Age: 16Race: DwarfProfession: Forager/ SkirmisherBackground: I was born by the gods and eat babies!!! Just kidding. Tay was born to a happy couple, but the father was killed in war, and his mother couldn't take the suffering and killed herself. Tay was raised by his Aunt, Rol. She too died of old age. Now Tay lives with the dwarves and plans on avenging his father's death. :biggrin.gif:
You are a VERY young dwarf.
I would redo your age.
I am posting to see if anyone would like to join a new Faction called the outcasts.Basicaly a group of exiles from other factions/races that are assassins/hitmen or bodyguardsThey will have no enemies as such just targets and no one outside the outcasts would know were their base is.If i get 5 or more people that are interested in joining a faction like this I'll write the backstory and apeal to SEAL about it.
My name is Uriel. My friends and I once heard rumours of a fabled land where strange creatures dwelled.
I heard of strange beings known as "Dwarfs, Elfs, and Humans."
I must admit that at first I thought that that was all they were. Rumours.
After a while the rumours started to die down and I had devoted my life to worshipping the Creator. I was a priest.
Recently the rumours had started surfacing again. I overheard talks of leaving our wonderful city to see if the rumours were true. I know I shouldn't have, but I offered to go with them. I told them I would get the Creator's blessing. When I asked for his blessing he denied me it, but I told them differently. I know it was wrong, but I was curious.
The Elders must have caught wind of the operation because they summoned us to them. During the meeting they explicitly ordered us not to leave the city. That did not deter us from our path.
We made plans to leave the next morning. I was put into the position of leading the priests to the unknown destination. If our death awaited us there, I would have never forgiven myself.
When we arrived, we saw strange things hustling about. They were stocky and tough creatures with a bad temper and a nasty drinking habbit. They were the Dwarfs and I wasn't too keen about them. We wandered for little bit and came across the tall, nature-loving Elves. They were friendly people although they were afraid of us at first. Lastly we arrived at a settlement where the ambitious and brave--although fragile--humans lived. I was experiencing a mixture of feelings including fascination and exitement. But that all changed when we came across Demons.
They looked like us, only, darker, more evil. I could feel their evil radiating from their bodies. For the first time in my existence, I felt scared. We ran before they could catch us and after hours of running we came across the others.
They had come across the same creatures and had the same feelings. I'm just glad I'm not alone.
Currently we are working on building cities like the ones we used to know. We help the other creatures when we can. I am still a priest and a loyal follower of the Creator. My devotion will never falter.
