hai im working on updating my modpack from 1.6.4 to 1.7 and want to swich my lan ssp from vanilla to BoP wrold gen (forgot to do it befor making the world) is there anyway to do it?
While I'm sure there's some way, it'll probably be a ton of work and leave several features out of the game unless you travel far and wide to generate new chunks. Given how many changes were made to both Vanilla and BoP between version 1.6.4 and version 1.7, it may be better to generate a new world. However, I know some people like playing the same world that they first began, so it's really your choice.
I remember in 1.6.2 version, CustomChestLoot allowed me to remove and change the food items in chests. Now in 1.7.10, I can't change it. Where do I change what foods I find? Too much Rainbow Bacon! I have HungerOverhaul too
You could always download the Too Much Loot mod, which allows you to customize various chests drops from any mods you have installed.
Depends. Are you wanting this map to be specifically vanilla, or are you adding mods to the mix? Several mods include things like jetpacks, flight potions, amulets, rings, etc; that give temporary ability to fly.
Hey Mr Crayfish I have the mod but one problem it says I have no constructions on the planning board what do I do, do you now anything about this has it happened to anyone else but me please help!!!!
Which version of the mod/Minecraft are you using? Did you download and/or properly install a construction blueprint? Have you attempted to create your own blueprint?
The 1.7.2 version runs on 1.7.10, but it's extremely bare bones, and does contain a number of glitches. I love the mod, but due to the limitations, I'm having trouble justifying keeping it in my mod lineup. All of the buildings I'd want to copy and share are more complex than what this mod is currently able to do, but it looks like it has tons of potential. So, I'm waiting until Mr Crayfish has some time to update.
Included items appear to be dual-color countertops, a plate, a blender, a trash can, a toaster, a dishwasher, and a cookie jar.
So if I'm interpreting the pics right, that's at least two of your requests. "More awesome stuff" is rather vague, and "..." isn't even technically English. He's also already pushed out an API update, to allow modders to hook into his mod more easily, as well as (I believe) configurations for MineBay.
I'm playing with EnviroMine, but with the hydration aspect disabled. I've found out this means that the Camel Pack won't work anymore. Could you make the Camel Pack work again, so it can still be used to keep cool?
The camel pack works to keep you cool by utilizing water that you drink to keep your core temperature down. If you don't have hydration, your character "can't" drink, therefore getting no side-benefits from drinking water.
I've got a suggestion. Could ink sacs be a drop from water gardens? Squid spawns are sometimes a real problem. If people didn't have them enabled, ink could drop from those gardens.
Squids are considered passive mobs, and it's not that difficult to create a tank for them to spawn in so you can gather ink. You can leave the bottom filled with water, so you can kill them yourself for calamari, or you can line the bottom with a layer of signs so they suffocate, dropping their ink sacs into a hopper system for easy pickup. Keep in mind that squids, like most animals, require being at least 25 blocks away from the player in order to spawn.
You need to be more specific. Are you able to download? Are you installing properly? Are you making sure it's the correct version? Does it crash? If so, is there a crash log you can post so we can help you figure out the issue? Are items simply not appearing in the game? Did you double check creative menu?
"It doesn't work" is telling us practically nothing, and gives us no way to help you.
I am wondering about the big trees that grow in certain biomes. I cut one down and got some saplings, I planted those saplings but it did not reproduce the big tree. So then I tried planting it in the biome it came from and again no big tree. So if we cut these big trees down they are gone?
Are you planting just one sapling, or many in a grid? I can't say for sure, since I don't know which specific trees you're talking about, but several larger trees require more than one sapling. Kinda similar to the big jungle tree, the big oaks, and the dark oaks.
It adds biomes. The biomes are listed in the first post. No mobs and no crafting recipes I am aware of (except the old ones extended to new woods and such).
Just what the first post says.
It actually does add a few mobs and recipes (besides the extended ones.) Though a few may not be able to get from in game. Ambrosia comes to mind. BoP also adds some low-tier armor, such as flower bands and mud armor. It also adds a few tools and weapons. Scythes allow you to clear out areas of tall grass more quickly. There's actually quite a bit in the BoP mod, though the main focus is adding a variety of biomes.
i really like the look of this mod but there are a few things i don't entirely want from it, is it configurable at all?
You have to either download the mods individually, or open the mod and delete the unwanted files. Here's hoping the unwanted parts don't share mods with wanted parts.
Well, what happened was I was first using 1.8 vanilla. Then, disgusted that, somehow, Mojang STILL didn't put actual furniture into the game yet, I went and got the modded version. Sorry, shoulda said that first, huh? ^^;
Then you need to downgrade to the proper version. 1.7 vanilla doesn't have customized fences. So there's nothing Mr Crayfish can do about them being replaced from a downgraded map.

You can't use 1.7 mods in 1.8. It will always result in a crash.

Please post the complete crash log (in spoilers, if you would) so that we can possibly figure out why it crashes.

Mr Crayfish does have an update in the works, which he's calling the "kitchen update". Since you obviously missed his sneak-peak post, here it is.
