    :( I was going to show my friend how there were differences with the races and pros and cons of each one, and I set up a few things in my world to demonstrate. One of them was a 1 block high tunnel to show the big plus of Halflings. I forgot to get out of the tunnel before showing him Orcs, and I suffocated and lost all my stuff... Can't wait for 0.7 when we can't do that anymore.

    Oh my god the Hydra... I recommend everyone to use Creative mode or TMI/NEI to get a Spawn Hydra egg and check them out. I predict an epic fight once they actually get AI.

    Edit: Was your old world generated with a previous version of the Extrabiomes mod? If so, I'm willing to bet that the problem is that the biomeIds have changed...

    The new Anvil file system stores the biomes in the save...IC2 probably gets the biomeId from the chunk and uses it to get a valid biome object, assuming that any biomeId found in the save is still valid. It is not, hence the null pointer...

    There are two possible fixes...1) in your config, change your biome ids so that the biomeIds in the save file are still valid or 2) even better...inform IC2 so that they check to make sure they got a good biome before acting on it... solution 2 is safer.

    My world wasn't generated with EBXL in first place, only vanilla biomes. However, I did put a support request on the IC forum to see if anyone else can figure it out. However, for now, I'm going to try removing EBXL from my mods folder, moving away from the chunk border, and then installing it again.

    I just wanted to drop in that I have the same problem as Sodsina, it seems that while I can play the mod with IC2 and Redpower installed on a fresh save, when I try to generate a new chunk on a map created before EBXL was installed then the game crashes. I want to use it, but I'll never be able to use my world again unless I get a fix!

    First of all, at the lowest charge, DM Tools mine as fast as diamond. Try hitting "V" to charge them higher. They only go up 2 charges, so if you want to get any faster you need RM Tools or RM multitools. About the Philosopher's Stone recipes, Pahimar (or maybe x3n0) had to remove them because of a change to container crafting recipes like milk in a cake. Make a cake, watch the buckets. It was too annoying with the PStone snapping out of the crafting grid every time you crafted something, so they just removed them, but they're coming back in a later version in some way shape or form. Right now there's a nifty thing called a Transmutation Table, read a guide about it because I don't want to type for 1/2 an hour explaining it ;)

    The big thing about RPG I liked were some of the scenic forest type ones (like the Sakura one), the really mountainous ones like the Magic Forest (I loooove mountains), and the Origin Forest. Infdev terrain in 1.2 was amazing. Come to think about it, with the API, even a knucklehead like me should be able to do something like the Origin Forest fairly easily.
    Also, you guys should really consider putting a guide with photos to the biomes like TDWP did with RPG, it really helps with new users. If I write a good one, will you promise to put it in the OP's "Biomes" section?

    Holy crap this is awesome, 2.0 FTW! I'm especially excited about the reduction of the amount of block IDs used, the number in the old version was kinda crazy. However, ExtraBiomesRPG is no longer updated.... D: I loved that addon, could you maybe consider adding in TDWP's work into the main mod? Also, can you disable vanilla biomes? I might actually use the mod to disable every single biome except for ones that have mountains if that's the case.
    Edit: Also, version 2.0 released on page 200. Pretty schweet.

    Since shears were added and we could legitimately place leaf blocks. At least that's the case with vanilla leaves. Never done the disassemble-reassemble thing with Silverwoods, I've just destroyed them, made Totems with them, and then making the totems the core of 3x3 pillars about 4 blocks tall I bury underground to boost local Aura.

    Oh my god... That would work, wouldn't it? The best thing is that the Zero Ring doesn't even cost EMC... And I learned today that Speed potions actually affect your speed by a magnitude instead of just a "+ X amount of KPH" so while you might go 5 KPH faster with a Speed II potion in vanilla, while sprinting in Quantum Leggings on ice, you practically teleport! Also, the boots from TC also boost your speed cap, thus even more zoomzoom.

    How do I make Minions go away? I have like 4 of them, and I want them to just stop following me around and stuff. Can you make it that maybe if you don't have the Master's Staff in your inventory, the Minions all despawn? Also, I really need a guide to using them. I tried to get them to strip-mine down, and after they dug down about 4 layers, they stopped and just stood around looking at me. It'll be a useful mod, but I need to get them to work right first!

    Hey Pheenixm, I just wanted to let you know: if you actually make the Biome Buster destroy a whole biome, then make sure that your code accounts for "mini biomes" inside the biome, like Rivers, Beaches, Biome Hills/Mountains etc. And also, the only real improvement that needs to be made to Mind Control is to mostly disable the AI patterns of the mob you stick the helmet to. I actually use Squids for most mind control uses because the AI automatically disables when it goes out of water.
    Also, for everyone out there: Go into Creative, get a squid out of water, Mind Control Helmet it, and then double-tap space like you're going to fly. The squid actually flies. Go into F5 third person and zoom around in the sky in circles. Play "Flight of the Bumblebee". You have now won the Internet.

    Speaking of the items, is it possible you could make a simple spreadsheet on the Wiki that shows the damage values and the durability values of each of your items?

    One of the coolest things about the AotS is how it cuts down stuff in like a wave from where you destroy the first block instead of just destroying every item at once like with Timber mod. I'm kinda thinking of using NEI to turn block drops off, WorldEdit/SPC to make a 256x256x256 cube of log blocks, and destroying one block at the center of a face. It'll make an epic video.
    Also, the Elemental Tools have the same durability of the iron tools that they are at heart: 256. I think the next tier of Thaumcraft tools (no spoilers) have the durability of diamond, and the tier after that, I have no clue.

    Actually, I have a seed that someone told me about that consistently generates you in a village next to an obelisk (with a chance of 2) and some Silverwoods to the North. I can dig it up and test it a few more times if you like.
