In the mean time try using /gamerule and set mobGriefing to false. 2 years of playing and I'm only just learning to use /gamerules. :lol: /gamerule will give you a list of stuff you can do with it, but you want "/gamerule mobGriefing false" It stops mobs from altering the world, everything from endermen moving blocks to creepers making craters. I'm guessing that the dragons in lairs also won't be able to punch through to the surface if mobGriefing is turned off.

    Sadly, changing the game rule still doesn't work in the worlds that I have played.
    This is unrelated, but I think there should be a way to make dragons unable to be captured by any items. Currently, I can use the animal nets meant for chickens in the Hatchery mod to capture and carry around a wild dragon. That doesn't really feel right.

    That is actually a very good point. I wonder if it would just be a random one, like a 50/50 thing, or an actual mix. Or they just cancel each other out elementally, since well, fire and ice don't mix. Unless you desire a puddle.

    Having speed change on level would be nice or, like horses, it would be randomized. Also, how would one use different attacks while riding? Would the dragon just do it naturally or would their be hotkeys for it?

    Here is a suggestion that I thought of while contemplating the subject of automated fishing:

    Electrolily: This flower, placed on the surface of pond, uses mana to electrify water blocks in a 2 block radius (5x5), this kills one fish per block. (total of 24 per pulse) After pulsing, the electrolily recharges an interior biological capacitor and consumes mana to charge. It will then pulse again once fully charged. It can damage players, but if the timing is wrong, it fails. What is interesting about this plant is it doesn't use mana per "action" like an agricarnation or similar plant, but during a charging phase instead.


    I don't think this is very overpowered, since you only get 24 fish (and only fish, no fishing loot) per cycle. The only thing I wanted to suggest this for was to make a slightly easier source of fish, since fishing is very long, and you can get bad loot (or good ones). What do you guys think?

    Starcaller didn't replace the holy sword. The Key of the King's law did, and it is pretty cool. Personally I like the new Flugel Tiara, I was sad at first, but making you have to fight the Gaia Gaurdian to get the Eye of the Flugel to have infinite flight is cool. Also, if you want to travel far just fly very high , dash forward, when you run out just glide slowly down and then fly back up and repeat.

    Upcoming Botania Armour skins:

    ManaSteel is almost done. Since the texture for Terrasteel and Manasteel armour are similar I am using the same armour texture, it just takes a long time to apply Hue to the whole thing. The manasteel armour will have a different helmet though, so it won't all be the same.

    Is it possible to get a new wing type for the Flugel Tiara based of the Haibane from the anime Haibane Renmei?Their wings are said to be charcoal coloured, so using charcoal in the recipe for some greyish quartz would be interesting. Just a sudden idea that came to my mind this morning.

    You already have crystallized essentia, so why not just have it drop that instead? It would make it so he wouldn't have to make so many more items. I am really excited for this next update. I hope you can make it so the dimensions wouldn't be too laggy, I plan to make a server with this mod on it at some point and I don't want it overloaded by node dimensions. I am curious though, will the dimensions use a similar system to Mystcraft? For example instead of pages causing different things, the different aspects would determine the generation? Also, would a vacuous node create a void world if you wanted one, and lux would create eternal day, etc. I am surprised I didn't pick up this mod earlier, when I first saw it I kind of brushed it off since I wasn't super into Thaumcraft back then, but seeing all this new stuff has really gotten me interested. Thanks!
