    From what little I have seen of this mod, it seems kind of interesting. Your little part talking about mining craftable planets sounds really interesting. It makes me think of a multiblock that you can open a portal to into the atmosphere of a random planet in the galaxy and shoot a laser down onto the surface, cutting away at the planet and sucking up ore and minerals. In reality it would just be a multi-block that generates random ore and materials similar to MFR laser drill. At least that is what I am imagining, that most likely isn't what you are planning, but it would be cool, especially if you could go to the planet that you are slowly destroying... Any ways, good luck, and most of all, have fun making your mod. As long as you think that your mod is fun and unique, someone else out there might too, and they can have fun too. One person liking it is better than none.

    Regarding durability - I'm totally against it. One of the interesting features of this mod is that its one of the few always-on build-and-forget power sources. It doesn't require fuel or maintenance or anything. I like the weather mechanic too. If you add durability and repairing it basically becomes equivalent to just another generator that requires a type of fuel. And since you have to build them at high elevations it would be annoying to access them. Please do not add durability.


    The critical part is balancing the power output. Too high and it's OP, making other sources of power obsolete. Too low and its not worth building. I think 36 RF/t is about right for the top tier. I might even make it lower.


    I agree with the durability thing, but I was doing some calculations. One resonant windmill, with a resonant rotor, would take nearly an hour to pay, in RF, how much was used to make it, maybe more, they were really rough calculations. And if you think about it material wise, they consume a large amount of material. Though other sources of power produce more, they have a fuel cost. I know that the windmills shouldn't produce too much, or else you wouldn't need to factor in a fuel consuming power source else where, but for the material and RF cost, still out way the cost of setting up a simple tree farm, electric furnace, and a few steam dynamos to produce more power. I think that maybe the RF creation should be about 1.5 times what they are now. If a larger multi block one were to be made though, then the power for the current windmills should stay the same. This is just my input on the current state of the mod, and how it could be a bit better.

    I am really liking this mod, but I have one problem. For the prices, the windmills aren't that great. I was testing, and a resonant windmill at y 200 with a enderium rotor only makes 36Rf/t. I might be doing something wrong, but for the prices, I would rather just get Big reactors or something. A small reactor is cheaper and can make much more. I would love to use windmills, because they are aesthetically pleasing, but also give of a mechanical feeling, but the windmills are kind of bad. Keep up the good work though, and hopefully my constructive criticism will help with something.


    EDIT: A good way to make a multi-block windmill would be to make it similar to Windmills from Ancient warfare.The blade is made up of Blade Blocks, and making it in uneven squares makes bigger and bigger blades, creating more power. If you were to do something like that, you wouldn't have to make a new windmill block besides the blades, you could just use a windmill block, and instead of putting a rotor, just make a bunch of blade blocks. Blade blocks could be crafted for about half the materials of a rotor, but you would need a lot of them to build a large blade.

    I have been watching the other thread, and just found this one. Is the update that adds RF, the fourth class, and some of these newer machines not out yet? I can only find the version I have been playing with on the website. If it is still in progress I don't mind waiting, I loved the anime Railgun and this mod is awesome from what I have played in the beta releases.

    This is a really great mod so far. I am surprised how stable it is and how much it has in it's beta state. I have only one issue. After messing around a bit with the electormaster abilities, I can't get rid of electric particles around my hand. They don't show up if I am in f5, and they continue cross-world too. I am excited to see new abilities and classes, maybe even some more machines, since the only thing you need to power currently is just the ability developer, to my knowledge. Keep up the good work!

    So like a horcrux? But except it being a living golem? Or maybe a golem that using some special "Crystal Ball" Thing, you can become and interect with things, but as a one block high golem. Similar to the Ender IO from Ender IO, but in magic form.

    I think it is soul sand so you can unlock the soul sieve and head down that tree and link it up to the creature infusion, then you get into reincarnation.

    You already have crystallized essentia, so why not just have it drop that instead? It would make it so he wouldn't have to make so many more items. I am really excited for this next update. I hope you can make it so the dimensions wouldn't be too laggy, I plan to make a server with this mod on it at some point and I don't want it overloaded by node dimensions. I am curious though, will the dimensions use a similar system to Mystcraft? For example instead of pages causing different things, the different aspects would determine the generation? Also, would a vacuous node create a void world if you wanted one, and lux would create eternal day, etc. I am surprised I didn't pick up this mod earlier, when I first saw it I kind of brushed it off since I wasn't super into Thaumcraft back then, but seeing all this new stuff has really gotten me interested. Thanks!

    This isnt working for me. My cultist knight doesnt fight for me, when I accidently hit him he started attacking me, luckily after picking itup since it had portability, and putting it back down it stopped attacking me.

    First, off this looks great. It would be cool if, one day, you could provide special compatability with the LOTR mod. Unless the creator of that mod adds something like this to his own mod. I used to play LOTRO and that was really fun, and I have always wanted to find something with a good rpg feel. One of the bigest things I like in rpgs i the crafting. I have never truly seen a crafting system that the whole point is to make things to sell to others. Normally it is to make them for yourself, or to level up. I would love to see a job system where you have to put, i dont know, skill points maybe, into a tree to unlock recipes. The only system for this that I have found that is good, is the one in terrafirmacraft. Where the higher level you are the higher quality the item is. Love the look of this mod, I am surely excited to see what you do with it. I have so many mods that I love to check on all the time and you were just added to that list.

    Currently I am loving the mod. One of my favourite addons in a while. I am having a few problems though. I have a crimson knight, but even though he has instilled loyalty, he won't fight for me, what he has currently is, Instilled Loyalty, Portability, enderheart, diamond skin, thaumium claws. Also I was having trouble trying to instill loyalty in endermen, is that one that isn't allowed? I would like an endermen friend, but if it doesn't have the right brain system as the lore describes, then I guess I can't. Also I can't seem to get any of the soul things. Is there a research I need before? I also can't unlock the soul crucible from thaumic exploration. Is there some sort of soul related research that you need to do a special thing to unlock? I am about to test in a creative world with a cheat sheet to see what it might be. Thanks.
