Your character (describe backstory etc.): The day the comet hit, Azalea was deep underground, mining. She felt a quick jolt, and the whole ground shook beneath her feet. Suddenly, it got cold deep in the mines. She abandoned her mineshaft to see what had happened. There was nothing. Just..Ice and snow. She ran home, or what was her house anyway. Her brother had died in the comet's collision with the planet. She had nothing now.
Before this event, Azalea lived a simple life as a miner. She wasn't poor, but she wasn't rich either. She lived with her brother. Her parents where long dead.
Azalea is sarcastic, and may seem uncaring to most. But to those who search deep, she can be a kind and caring soul.

Your character (describe backstory etc.): The name of my character is harold, harold is a man from 69 years old, harold is good in PVPing, in de paste harold hunted stuff when hes dead forbiden him to do that.

Not quite accepted, you didn't put anything about the storyline in your app.
The old forum post got a lot of publicity, and a lot of it is just talking about the general server - So I'm starting a new whitelist application forum here. You can see the other forum post here. You can refer to that for the arctic texture pack and monsters, and general discussion about the server.
Keep in mind that no more whitelist applications are being accepted on the old post, and ONLY on this one.
LORE:
The planet of M.P.IV used to house the richest mines in the galaxy, annually bringing in trillions of dollars.
However, that all changed 50 years ago when a comet struck the planet, and froze it to the core. Most humans on the surface were killed instantly, those who survived quickly abandoned mining and began their desperate bid for survival.
The comet also awakened massive worms below the planets surface, causing them to burrow massive tunnels until they quickly froze. Many of the miners turned to these tunnels for survival, as did the tribal natives of the planet.
Now the only lifeforms on the surface are the hideous iceworms, these creatures are immobile and wait for prey to walk over them, they then devour them whole. The secret to this species survival is that it only needs to eat every 25 years. They are also found uncommonly below the surface, blocking entire tunnels.
However, that is the least of the miners problems on M.P.IV, as the tunnels are extremely dark, various hostile creatures, along with miners that went insane after coming into contact with a mysterious ore that was found on the comet, and native tribes are found within them. Not to mention enemy factions.
The only thing that matters below the surface is light. The most common source of light is a type of lichen that grows on the icy rocks, it produces a strong gold glow. Possession of this is the only way to prevent your base from being overrun. If you're still reading the storyline, mention jaffacakes in your application's backstory (not afterwards. Mention how he was eating jaffa cakes when the meteor hit, or when he was watching hit mom dance or something.)
Oddly enough, trees are also found below the surface. Seemingly nurtured by the lichen.
New lifeforms are still being discovered, and the planets history is still being written as the miners fight the natives, the cold, the lifeforms, and each other.

REMEMBER THAT THE METEOR HIT 50 YEARS AGO! This IS the future, so you can be over 50 and still look pretty young. When writing pre/during the meteor hit, take into account your character's age. Anyone who doesn't follow this won't be whitelisted.
Also, we'd require your skin to be "arcticized," meaning that you're wearing a coat or something; you can easily whip that up in skin edit, or ask a friend (or me) to do it for you.
This server will stay mostly vanilla as well, and it will be up in a few hours. Well, probably. Last time it was in "a few hours" the hosting company's entire network broke down. 150+ servers went down. They fixed it, but you never know. (More time to make your skins! XD)
Would this mean that we'd have to all redo our app forms?
No. I'm dealing with the whitelists. It's just some people need to be over 50 if they experienced the meteor hit, under 50 if they didn't. Remember that the meteor hit was 50 years ago. This is the future, so add another 50 to your age and that's ok.

Why you want to join:Because it has a cool Backstory, i need a server, Customized Mobs, and this looks fun.
Your character (describe backstory etc.): Chaos was a simple Miner, That Studied History and Wasteland Scenarios. He was Fairly smart, above average.. One day right after work, Before he left.. He glanced at the TV Channel 9
"And the Meteor will hit any second Now! People say Goodbye to your loved ones. This is much bigger then they predicted! Oh W-- Started t-- up --tromagnetics! --ts he-e! Oh! --OD!"
Then it Hit. The shockwaves Traveled for Miles, Chaos Was thrown back and fell deep into the Mineshaft, The last thing he remembered was His Boss being thrown and impaled on a Pipe..
Interesting. A bit odd placement for a TV by an open mineshaft, but I guess your boss was an idiot. Maybe get a miner skin, throw on a coat and you got yourself whitelisted. Mind putting the edited skin on this forum? Then you're in!
Try generating the map in single player, THEN loading the map into Multiplayer. I'm off for the night, I'll check applications and server **** in the morn'.

Age: 79 (The comet hit 50 years ago most people would be atleast 20 before they would travel to a mining planet ;p, and it's the future!, we can get older and still look young!)

Backstory: Zich was a mercenary, hired by the mining company to protect the miners from danger, he arrived just a week before the comet hit and when it hit he realised that this was a perfect buisness opportunity so he started protecting the people that would give him the most benefits, after a while when he had no ammo for his gun and when his stunner was out of electricity he started using one of his augmentations, one that lets you know things you have never learned, he started crafting simple things and used the same augementation to learn how to use it.
He started helping out people who raided a lot because he liked raiding.
He started to mine his own place, using his augmentations to craft a pickaxe and mine with it.
And so he started to become a raider, raiding alone or with other people if the place he was raiding was to heavily guarded.
